We stayed as a couple for one night, and the room was neither too small nor too spacious—just the right size. We didn't use the bath, so we can't comment on it. The temperature settings for the in-room bath were clearly indicated, so we didn't have to deal with lukewarm water. Amenities were minimal, and there was no bottled water provided. However, complimentary drinks were available on the first floor. There were two types of slippers, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff at the front desk and breakfast area were friendly and welcoming with great smiles. The most surprising thing was how quickly the elevator doors closed!

To drive along National Route 252 by the Tadami Line, I made a Reservation at this Accommodation in Aizu-Yanaizu, the gateway town. At first, only the No Meals Included Plan was available, but after calling to confirm eligibility for Fukushima travel support discounts, they kindly changed it to a Plan with both dinner and breakfast. The location is excellent in central Yanaizu, and you can park across the street at a free public parking lot. On arrival in the lobby, I was welcomed with an iced coffee welcome drink, and arranging a time for the private open-air bath as well as meal times went smoothly. My Room was a 6-tatami Japanese-style room on the third floor (no elevator). It was more than spacious enough for one person, very clean, and equipped with a sink and refrigerator. The toilet is shared (separate men’s/women’s) on the same floor. For Onsen bathing, there is a private rooftop open-air bath and separate men’s/women’s indoor baths on the fourth floor. The open-air bath feels handmade and doesn’t offer much of a view, but what truly impressed me was the indoor bath: fresh water continuously overflowing from the source (free-flowing), a cloudy sodium chloride spring with abundant volume at just the right temperature—far better quality than expected. Dinner is served at a modern soba restaurant created by renovating a storehouse behind the Accommodation. The main Sarashina soba had great texture and was excellent overall, including the warm chicken-and-burdock dipping broth. That said, it was disappointing that the appetizer tempura had gone cold, and I felt that adding something local such as basashi (horse sashimi) would make it even more satisfying. In that case, choosing No Meals Included and ordering freely from the restaurant menu could also be a good option. Breakfast is prepared in a private room next to the lobby; along with juice or soup, you receive a plate centered on bread and rice. Service is attentive, though opinions may differ on value for money depending on expectations. At 11,000 yen at full price it invites comparison with nearby Accommodations around here; however after discounts my satisfaction level was more than adequate. Above all else،the cleanliness throughout иandthe owner’s sincere、warm hospitality were outstanding—an Accommodation I can recommend even to Tadami Line travelers without а car.

Being able to enjoy so many iwana dishes served at the table was truly appreciated! I was tired of buffets, so I really enjoyed the grilled iwana, iwana sushi, and sashimi—plenty of iwana in every form. I didn’t expect to have miso dengaku-style grilled iwana for dinner the next day as well, and it was delicious—I was so happy! The Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The indoor bath and the semi-circular open-air bath were both wonderful. All of the staff seemed to get along well and were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The shop also had tasty items like soba noodles, sweets, and snacks (such as hoya), so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs too. Thank you very much for taking care of us! I’ll definitely come back for the iwana料理 and Onsen again. Since it’s located up in the mountains, a Multiple Night Stay is recommended for anyone who wants to relax slowly in peace and quiet.

Stayed in August 2026: 2 adults and 2 toddlers for JPY 15,810 with breakfast. As the title says. This is a very important point for guests, yet many hotels don’t seem to notice it at all. [In midsummer and midwinter, guests’ health can be affected by how clean the air conditioner is.] I hope you will continue to prioritize this. The Onsen was average (understandable given the low price). Breakfast was just enough to fill you up (also understandable given the low price). As for a one-of-a-kind experience: My wife accidentally dropped the breakfast tongs because their holder was unstable. When she informed and apologized to a female staff member in her 50s or so, she was told, “Please be careful,” which felt like surprisingly high-level customer service. It may simply be a local cultural thing, and I also felt that if I (a man) had done it, I probably wouldn’t have been admonished. Also, since she was serving food rather than working at reception where various types of guest interaction are required, it gave me the impression she spoke without much thought (no ill intent—more like “that’s obvious”). It was quite unpleasant, but I’m not dwelling on it. Because even though the room rate was affordable, the air conditioner was clean.

"Hotel Toranomon Hills" Above all, the location is outstanding. The view from the Room is truly “Toranomon.” Just looking out over the cluster of high-rise buildings somehow lifts your spirits. Another personal favorite was the lounge on the 11th floor. There are light cakes and drinks, it never feels too crowded, and it’s wonderfully quiet. It’s perfect for relaxing at your own pace, or opening up a laptop and getting some work done. Having a calm place like this inside the Hotel is a real treat. Breakfast also offers a wide variety of options, making it easy to enjoy a satisfying start to the day. Most memorable of all was the staff’s hospitality. As this stay was for my birthday, I had made a few requests in advance, and an experienced concierge handled everything with impressive ease. Even without detailed explanations, they understood what I meant and took action accordingly. Luxury Hotels matter for their Facilities and views, of course—but in the end, it really comes down to people. The Room, the view, the lounge, breakfast, and above all the staff. Rather than one standout feature, everything is consistently excellent across the board. A place you can choose with confidence for an important occasion. I’d love to stay again—truly.

As I travel around a lot, I often stay at Route Inn. The Route Inn in Ube had a great bath, and I was able to relax. The front desk staff handled check-in efficiently, which was very helpful. At breakfast, I noticed some guests wearing loungewear or the thin white Room slippers, and it felt a bit inappropriate. Even though there wasn’t any notice about it, I think it might lower the Hotel’s overall atmosphere, so it may be better to avoid that. Breakfast was delicious—especially the rolled omelet, which wasn’t sweet and was excellent. Thank you very much.

I booked the reliable Route Inn because I wanted to take a relaxing bath. Since I wasn’t traveling by car, I took a taxi, which was an unexpected expense, but I’m glad I was able to unwind.

My spouse and I stayed with our miniature dachshund and chose the BBQ course. After arriving, we checked in at Bianco. We were then shown to our Room, and everything was explained carefully, including how the Room and the public Onsen work. You can buy a 24-hour pass for three public baths at Gozen-yu for 600 yen. We started with a soak at Gozen-yu, then took our dog for a walk around town before dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, but to be honest there aren’t really any tourist facilities like souvenir shops (lol). There are walking paths too, but we decided not to go into the mountains because we were worried about bears. Before dinner, they brought us the meat for the BBQ. A one-drink option is included, so I ordered a craft beer. The meal was more filling than expected and very tasty. One thing to note: you cook the rice yourself using a mess tin (camping-style pot), so it might feel challenging if it’s your first time—though I’m used to it as a camper. It felt less like staying at a Ryokan and more like casual glamping. Also, since you’re grilling as you eat, it’s not really a sit-down-and-relax style meal. After dinner we went to our second bath, Satsuki-yu. However, Arifuku Onsen is very hot, so you can’t soak for long. My wife tried to go for one more bath at Yayoi-yu before bed but ran out of time and ended up going back to Gozen-yu instead (open until 10 p.m.). In the morning we visited Gozen-yu again (open from 7 a.m.) before having breakfast bento boxes—those were great too. The Room was very clean, and best of all we could let our dog relax freely inside, which made us really happy. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time I’d like to try dinner at Bianco as well.

The bath was wonderful. I was also happy that there was an electric therapy chair. For dinner, it would have been even better if there had been one more small side dish or a salad. The staff cleaned the facilities from early in the morning, so I had a very pleasant stay. The garden was beautiful as well. Thank you very much.

Although it’s a love hotel, it was affordable and gave me a relaxing, carefree time. You can really feel the effort to satisfy guests in many ways. I became a member, and next time I’ll book directly. The late-night noise from the room-service cart was acceptable to me overall.

This accommodation features a charming corridor connecting the front desk to the rooms. All rooms come with an open-air bath. There are rooms with city views and mountain views; this time, we stayed in a mountain-view room called "Kasuga," which was a combination of Japanese and Western styles (8-tatami mat alcove + 6-tatami Western-style room with two beds). The open-air bath was not very large but sufficient for two people. When we tried to use the open-air bath right after check-in, we found a centipede in it. Since the area outside is surrounded by nature, it couldn't be helped... However, when we informed the staff, they promptly cleaned and replaced the water for us, which was great. Dinner was served at the dining area as an Irori Kaiseki meal! Everything was delicious! We were very satisfied. Breakfast might feel slightly lacking for some guests. Although there is WiFi in the room, it’s weak and disconnects frequently—this needs improvement. A floor plan of the facility or room layout would be helpful inside each room. It would also be nice to have menus and tariffs for additional dinner dishes or drinks available in advance in each room since we only learned about additional dishes later on. It would be convenient to have an extra set of towels and bath towels since guests also visit public baths within the facility. Roomwear that separates into top-and-bottom pieces like samue would also be appreciated—it wouldn’t come undone easily and could even be worn to meals at dining areas. The staff members are incredibly kind and attentive! Overall, this accommodation provides a highly satisfying experience! It’s definitely worth revisiting! Next time, I’d like to stay in one of their city-view rooms!

We had the pleasure of staying here for our first family trip with five members. When it seemed like we might not make it in time for check-in, the staff responded kindly when we contacted them. The reception staff were very friendly, and since we had mentioned in advance that we wanted to use a private bath, they kindly guided us to a slightly larger one! Although we didn’t order dinner in advance, we purchased meal tickets and enjoyed various dishes—all of which were delicious! Next time, I’d love to stay with meals included. The private bath made my skin feel smooth and left me feeling wonderfully warm. Personally, I’m a fan of apple vinegar drinks, so I was delighted by the vending machine offering single servings! There was an issue before check-out that caused some inconvenience on our part, but the staff handled it with great kindness. We were able to enjoy a truly comfortable stay ("azumashiku"). Thank you so much for everything—when visiting Iwate again, we'll definitely choose this place!

I had been feeling worn out, so I made a same-day Reservation because I wanted to soak in the Onsen. Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. Even though it was reasonably priced, dinner felt luxurious—there was simmered golden eye snapper, which really impressed me. Everything was delicious, and I felt refreshed. The staff were also kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a twin room as a couple. The parking is about 100m away at the 24-hour supermarket Lamoo, and they provide service tickets, which made us feel secure even when arriving late at night. The JR station is also conveniently located about 200m away in a quiet area. Although the accommodation seems to have been around for some time, the facility appears renovated and does not feel outdated. The twin room we stayed in was a corner room, very spacious with two double beds that were more than comfortable. The interior and furnishings were tasteful as well. These days, I couldn't help but wonder if it's really okay to offer such quality with breakfast included at this price! Breakfast lived up to its reputation—it was delicious. The choice of rice and how it was cooked felt different from typical hotel breakfasts. Perhaps due to competition with chain hotels or accommodations in Himeji, this hotel offers great value for money. Personally, I would choose this hotel again next time. I rarely write reviews, but my satisfaction level was so high that I decided to share my experience here for your reference!

Although I stayed in a single Room, there was also an Onsen, so I had a comfortable stay. Guests can use the day-use Onsen free of charge. You do need to step outside once to get there, but it wasn’t an issue. The Room was quiet, and I didn’t notice noise from neighboring rooms. However, it’s better to buy food and drinks in advance. With the No Meals Included plan, you cannot have breakfast at the Hotel unless you request it by the day before. The front desk staff were kind.

I stayed for one night to see the moss phlox. The front desk staff were very courteous. When I asked for directions, they explained everything while looking at a map. Room wear is available near the front desk, and guests can choose what they need. What made me happiest was the food—I didn’t expect to enjoy such delicious meals. This is a Hotel I’d love to visit again.

It was worth extending our trip from Karuizawa to Kusatsu Onsen just to visit Kimuraya. We truly enjoyed a relaxing time, and the Shirahata no Yu with its free-flowing Onsen water was so smooth it felt like it embraced the body. Even my husband, who isn’t particularly fond of hot springs, seemed to appreciate its charm and went in multiple times. The staff members were all wonderful as well.
