We stayed for 3 nights during our summer vacation trip with our child. It was our first time using smart check-in, and we were worried it might not go smoothly, but it was fine. If we visit Amami again, we’d like to stay here again. It’s conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from the airport, clean, and reasonably priced—overall we were very satisfied. Summary ・The Room was very clean! Since there is no cleaning service for a 3-night stay, we borrowed a floor wiper and cleaned ourselves. ・We watched the night sky from the rooftop. It was around the full moon, so according to locals the sky was bright and the stars weren’t at their best, but it was still beautiful and felt like a special escape. ・Since we didn’t go out at night with our child, it was great that we could watch TVer, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube in the Room. ・Only a 30-second walk to the beach! We had it all to ourselves and enjoyed it fully. Even starting in the late afternoon was enough time to play, so our child didn’t get bored. It was also convenient to be able to shower before going back into the Room. The sea was so clear that we ended up buying snorkeling gear on short notice. ・There are two washing machines and two dryers. Because it’s a busy season with many guests, it was inconvenient having to wait for others to come pick up their laundry. Especially at night, if your timing is bad they can be in use no matter how many times you check. ・As other Reviewers have mentioned, there are truly very few restaurants nearby. Many places are only open during the day (e.g., until 6:00 PM), so it’s best to plan dinner in advance. The nearest convenience store is also about a 10–15 minute drive away.

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed by how thoroughly cleaned and spotless the cottage was. The front desk staff explained everything politely, and the atmosphere was perfect. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t enjoy an outdoor BBQ or a campfire, but we’d love to come back and try again next time.

I made a Reservation at this Accommodation because of the great Reviews. It was just as wonderful as the Reviews said, and I was very satisfied. The building is tastefully designed and offers a relaxing, comfortable space, and each dish was carefully handmade with local ingredients and tasted delicious. The hostess was also very kind and helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

A room with extraordinary spaciousness, high ceilings, and a private atmosphere as it is detached. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making it a facility I would recommend even to my most critical friends.

At first, I hesitated to make a reservation since there was no large public bath, but the highly-rated meals convinced me to go ahead. This was the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. Each dish felt carefully prepared and was incredibly delicious. There was plenty of my favorite sashimi, lots of seasonal vegetables, and a healthy menu that left me very satisfied. Although I felt quite full, the portions were just right so I could finish everything without leaving any food behind (which would have made me feel guilty and wasteful). The second night's dinner especially impressed me with its variety—sashimi, simmered fish, fried fish, fish Meunière—and even meat dishes were included! There was an onsen within walking distance right behind the hotel where I could enjoy soaking despite there being no large public bath onsite. The rooftop sauna also felt amazing. I tried SUP for the first time and found it easy to ride and fun! Being able to go directly from my room in swimwear made it super convenient. If I have another chance to visit, I'd definitely love to stay here again!

A glamping facility where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although they were cautious and could only be seen from a distance, we got to see adorable deer! Enjoying dinner while listening to the cute calls of deer, the sounds of night insects, and the crackling firewood was simply amazing! The portions were quite generous, so we couldn't finish all of the hot pot, which was a bit wasteful. However, it had a gentle flavor and was incredibly delicious. The chicken had a rich taste that paired perfectly with drinks! After dinner, we relaxed on the sofa with dessert in hand, chatting leisurely with friends and enjoying peaceful moments. Next time, I’d love to visit in winter to enjoy snowy landscapes and a wood-burning stove!

We stayed here for a family ski trip. It seems to be a hotel condominium type of accommodation. If it suits your purpose, it’s an excellent choice. However, if you are looking for full services (such as staff guiding you to your room or room service), this might not be the right option for you. Interaction with hotel staff is mostly limited to check-in and check-out. The staff were polite and kind, which even made our child say, "He was such a nice man." The accommodation is almost like a 2DK (1LDK) apartment with a regular kitchen included. There’s no gas stove but an IH cooktop instead. As mentioned in the hotel's guide, basic tableware and cooking utensils are provided, so you can prepare most meals if you bring your own ingredients. However, please note that there are no seasonings available, so make sure to purchase them along with other groceries if needed. For those who find cooking troublesome, there is also an oven microwave available for heating frozen foods. One downside is that there are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby; you'll need to drive about 20-30 minutes by car to get groceries. That said, this could also add some charm to the travel experience for those who enjoy such adventures. Overall, my family had a very positive impression of our stay here and would love to use this place again when we visit the area in the future!

We used this accommodation for the first time during our annual three-generation trip and created wonderful memories in a fantastic room! Reason for choosing this room: - The photos of the room and location on IKYU.com were very beautiful. - The reviews had high ratings. Positive points: - Access to various modern appliances. - Spacious living room and bedrooms. - Air conditioning was already on at check-in. - Clean rooms. - Abundant amenities, including beauty face masks. - Three toilets, one on each floor. - Scenic ocean view. Areas for improvement: - The shower operation and bathtub buttons were difficult to understand; having instructions or guides would be helpful, especially for elderly guests or children unfamiliar with the equipment. - The refrigerator door was hard to open, and it didn’t cool well; while other appliances were modern, the refrigerator seemed like a basic model suitable for two-person households. It couldn’t chill beer properly, so we had to use the freezer. - When using the drying mode of the washer-dryer, a maintenance sign appeared, preventing it from drying clothes properly; as we left it running overnight in drying mode while sleeping, we found wet laundry in the morning which was disappointing. Maintenance seems necessary as cleaning access is not possible for guests. Overall impression: The spacious living area allowed all nine of us to dine together at a large table comfortably! With excellent facilities overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. There was also a guest notebook where everyone shared their delightful experiences! We look forward to staying here again!

The Room felt spacious and open, and we were able to fully enjoy Hokkaido’s great natural scenery. The meals were also very delicious. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay!

Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was rainy, but we were able to relax so comfortably in the Room that we hardly noticed. The living area with an irori hearth was filled with natural light from the large windows, creating an open and inviting space. We enjoyed meals and watched movies on Amazon Prime, spending peaceful time together at our own pace. The Takigawa beef dishes were also delicious and very satisfying. Although it rained, we could still stroll around the grounds and enjoy matcha at the teahouse as well as a tea ceremony experience, which our older family members especially appreciated. The upstairs bedroom also had large windows with a great view, allowing us to spend a quiet and luxurious time. The bath was designed so the window could be opened fully, and it was memorable to soak comfortably while listening to the sound of rain. On our way home, we stopped by a nearby sightseeing spot, Shiraito Falls, which offered a spectacular view as well. This time we unfortunately couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but next time we would love to visit on a clear day and enjoy a stay while taking in the view of Mt. Fuji.

Our first pension stay as a couple was at “Princess Edward,” and it truly feels like a calming dream space. This was our third repeat visit. We are sincerely grateful to the owner for the consistently kind hospitality. The Facility is kept extremely clean, and we were very satisfied with the spacious toilets and family bath. Delicious breakfast bread and fresh salad—everything was excellent. We heard it will be closing in November, so we have made a Reservation for the final day. It’s sad, but my wife and I are looking forward to staying on that last day. Thank you again for taking such great care of us, and we look forward to seeing you again in November.

The meals were very delicious.

We stayed on a breakfast-only Plan. The bathtub in our Room was spacious, and there was a great variety of shampoo and bath additives, so we were able to relax and take our time. For breakfast, they generously prepared local vegetables, yogurt, fruit, and plenty of freshly baked bread from a nearby bakery. Everything was delicious, and we ate a lot. The owner and his daughter chatted with us in a friendly way and even showed our child the many picture books they have. It’s a very homey Hotel, and we ended up staying longer than planned. When we travel to this area again, we would definitely like to stay here.

We stayed here for our trip. The views from the balcony and the Onsen were breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised to find refills for shampoo, laundry detergent, seasonings, and so much more. They responded kindly and quickly to our inquiries, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to stay again.

This was our first time staying in a private rental, and it became a trip where we could truly feel the owner’s kind personality from the warm welcome. It’s unbelievable at other Accommodations that when staying with five people and a dog, the fifth person is free. The Room was clean, and both our family and our dog were able to stay comfortably. When we arrived, there was apple pie and watermelon prepared in the refrigerator—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. Mona, the resident dog—she was so adorable. It turned into a fun family trip where we could really relax. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night from March 19. It was an Accommodation that truly lived up to its high-rated Reviews. The Room was a bit compact, but it had a spacious wood-deck balcony, was thoroughly cleaned, and felt very fresh and relaxing. They also provided a waterproof sheet for our dog, so the bedding was OK. We followed proper etiquette and used a diaper, so we were able to sleep together comfortably. Dinner was BBQ on the large wood deck (honestly like yakiniku from an upscale restaurant). We really enjoyed the wagyu that the owner personally cuts—absolutely delicious. There were also lean wagyu and chicken tenderloin for dogs, and our dog happily ate it all. Vegetables, soup, rice balls, etc. were included as a set, and there are plenty of optional menu items as well. The Onsen can be reserved privately in 1-hour time slots (Reservation required), so you can soak slowly and unwind. From 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM it becomes open access—if it’s available you can use it (all private Onsen use is free). They even have a bathtub for dogs, so your dog can enjoy the Onsen too!! There is of course a dog run, and since this Accommodation hosts only three groups total, we could enjoy it at our own pace. Breakfast was a handmade burger—also outstanding. Options like extra patty or cheese are available! It seems you can also switch to a hot sandwich. Yogurt, onion soup, salad, and your choice of drink were included as well—we were very satisfied. This Accommodation hosts only three groups per day (Sunny), so we could relax fully and enjoy the Onsen—and since our dog isn’t great with other dogs sometimes, it was perfect that everything could be done mostly within our Room area. It was very reasonably priced: delicious meals, wonderful Onsen time, and the best part—being able to stay with our dog all the time. To the owner couple, their adorable son, and Sunny the resident dog—thank you for such a fun and fulfilling trip!! We’ve already made our next Reservation too; I’ll work hard until then while looking forward to coming back.

This was our second overnight trip with our dog, and our first time staying at an Accommodation with a dog run. The goal of this trip was to find a way to travel without putting any strain on our dog, and I feel we found one answer here. It was a very satisfying experience. Our dog tends to hold in pee and poop when we travel, but here, being able to touch the pleasant grass at all times helped him relieve himself as he normally does at home. He’s also a timid dog who tends to keep his distance from strangers and other dogs, but the calm nature of the owner and Rani-chan and the others really helped him relax. In addition to how well maintained the lawn felt, we could sense thoughtful consideration for dogs in many details—such as the sliding entrance door, ramps, cute bowls, and even a night-time dog run. For us humans as well, the Room was just the right size, and we found everything very comfortable—the service during meals (we really appreciated being able to use the dining area), and how dishes were served quietly and considerately. One very small suggestion: it might be nice if there were a hook near the entrance for locking up keys. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

On Nokonoshima, we took a free bus to the beach and enjoyed swimming. Afterward, we told the reception that we were staying at Villa Sakimori, and they provided a free Shuttle Service for us. They also answered our questions by email in advance, so we felt comfortable using the service on the day. The Room was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was pleasant, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. However, since it is surrounded by nature, those who dislike insects should be aware.

We stayed in the Bridge Building, and it was an excellent Accommodation with abundant nature, well-equipped Facilities, and a spacious, clean bathroom. In the Front Building, there was complimentary ice cream as well as free-to-borrow cooking oil and seasonings. The staff were very friendly—when it was raining at check-in, they brought an umbrella out to our car, and at check-out several of them waved us off. It’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

This was our third stay. Once again, both our dog and we were very satisfied. The owner is friendly, and you can really feel their love for dogs. Our dog happily ran around, got completely worn out in the pool, and slept soundly at night zzz. We enjoyed plenty of delicious food, ended up completely full, and slept soundly too zzz. (Everything is tasty, but we especially loved the breakfast and the soup.) This Accommodation is highly recommended for first-time stays with a dog or for families. Next time, we’d like to come with my parents.
