I booked Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, where you can enjoy the sea of clouds, to celebrate my wife’s birthday. What surprised me first was that I had requested a birthday message plate at “Il Teatro,” the Italian restaurant we reserved for dinner, and the Hotel coordinated everything so wonderfully that at check-in they presented my wife with a handwritten birthday message card from the staff. Honestly, I was deeply moved by their hospitality. As an IKYU Diamond member, we received a Room upgrade, and they also kindly suggested switching to a suite (for an additional fee). The upgraded garden-view Room was spacious with an excellent view—we were completely satisfied. The sea of clouds was truly magical; it looked different depending on the time, and no matter how many times we watched it, we never got tired of it. Service at “Il Teatro” was also outstanding, and we had a memorable birthday dinner at a window seat overlooking the garden. The food was delicious, and the recommended Chardonnay was exceptional—exactly my kind of white wine. After that, we went to the bar for cocktails and returned to our Room, but we were having such a great time talking that we ended up missing the final grand sea of clouds show. Talking with my wife about making Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo our annual birthday tradition, we promised each other: “Next year, let’s dine in one of the private rooms used for Hanzawa Naoki filming—and this time we’ll definitely watch the grand nighttime sea of clouds from our Room.” It became a wonderful memory for us. We visited to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday. I wanted to surprise her, so I emailed in advance, and they suggested a wonderful Plan—thanks to that, we had an absolutely satisfying trip! We booked the girls’ get-together Plan, so we really appreciated the Shuttle Service. Even better, the driver showed us around Iwata City on the way, which made for such a fun start. The service was outstanding and truly made us happy. When we arrived at our Room, Surprise #1 was waiting—a message on the TV. My daughter was thrilled! Dinner was French cuisine that let the vegetables shine; everything was delicious and deeply impressive. Then came Surprise #2: a dessert plate! It caught my daughter completely off guard and delighted her even more. When we returned to our Room, there was a knock at the door—and a birthday cake (an additional charge, but it felt like great value compared with other places). My daughter expected there might be cake, but she was amazed by how many surprises there were!! Above all, the lush greenery made strolling through the garden a joy. The evening atmosphere with softly lit flames was beautiful—just being there felt calming. Both large public baths were excellent; perhaps thanks to the moor hot spring water, my skin felt wonderfully smooth. We had such a relaxing time. Breakfast was also fantastic—the plate really highlighted fresh vegetables. I was especially moved by the gentle soup and its natural vegetable sweetness. Most of all, the perfectly balanced hospitality and the Hotel’s atmosphere were exceptional! I first learned about GREENITY IWATA after hearing that my favorite artist stayed here last year—and it truly is a wonderful Hotel I’d love to visit again for anniversaries or whenever I want to slow down and reset. Even though we stayed from check-in all the way through check-out, it still didn’t feel like enough time—that’s how amazing our stay was. We would love to come back!

The Onsen was outstanding, the hospitality was exceptional, and we found a truly wonderful Accommodation. The coffee we were served was authentic and incredibly delicious. It seems the space is designed so you can relax without worrying about time. However, not being able to find a clock anywhere was a bit inconvenient. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Perched on a hill near Kawana Station, this Accommodation has a wonderful sense of charm. Even though it is upscale, the attendants were warm and approachable, making our stay truly comfortable. The Onsen baths are available both indoors and outdoors, and we could enjoy them at the same time; the water quality was excellent. The kaiseki dinner was outstanding—as expected of a renowned Ryokan—and we enjoyed it so much that we even had the late-night snack. The peaceful atmosphere, with occasional birdsong, was so soothing that we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely return.

We truly felt your wonderful service and hospitality throughout our stay. The location, the meals, the baths, and all of the staff were genuinely excellent. You even prepared kaiseki cuisine for our 9-year-old son and accommodated a change to our breakfast time. Both the dinner kaiseki and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and it was clear how much care and effort went into them.

I stayed here alone. The Room was comfortable, with a bath, toilet, and sofa, and the fluffy futon bedding was very cozy. The refrigerator was also a two-door model. As for the meals, a variety of side dishes were beautifully arranged on lovely plates, and I could tell how much care went into the cooking. Everything was delicious. Even the chopsticks were placed in an elegantly wrapped holder, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was colorful and wonderful. Coffee was also served. The proprietress did an excellent job of keeping an eye on guests at all times. I had a very enjoyable time—thank you very much. I hope to stay again if I have the opportunity.

This was my third stay. Compared to before, the hospitality around the front desk had improved even more. Thank you for your thoughtful care. This time, I tried lunch at the 1F restaurant “P72” for the first time, and I was very satisfied with the comfortable atmosphere and service, as well as the beautifully presented and delicious dishes. Breakfast was outstanding as always. I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time in my Room. I look forward to visiting again.

I stayed for one night and two days. Rooms & Amenities → The in-room open-air bath was clean and very relaxing. Hospitality & Service → I was warmly welcomed from check-in, and the staff responded pleasantly whenever I needed anything, which made me very happy. Onsen Baths → The large public bath was spacious, and the outdoor open-air bath area was also clean. I also appreciated the service of having drinks and towels available in front of the sauna room. Dining → I only had breakfast, but it was delicious.

We arrived by car, and even in the heat we were greeted before we even reached the entrance. Sometimes you’re welcomed after arriving at the entrance, or staff are stationed at the entrance to greet you—but this time they were already waiting out front. Isn’t that almost too wonderful? The welcome drink was delicious as well. This time we chose a lower grade and stayed in the Residence building. Getting from the Main building to the Residence requires walking a short distance outside, so it might be a concern on rainy days. There are also a few stairs, but staff will carry your luggage, so it shouldn’t be an issue. There is a private Onsen along the way, so for those who plan to use it, staying in the Residence may actually be more convenient. The Room was spacious enough. Our pre-requested baby cot, diaper bin, baby bath, etc., were already set up in the Room, so families with babies can stay with peace of mind. The indoor bath is an Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water in the Room. The temperature was perfect—absolutely wonderful. The BVLGARI amenities were also great. Breakfast was delicious, and the portions were just right—more than enough. As for the cuisine overall, I think the chef’s skill is outstanding. At dinner service most guests dress neatly, so for men it’s better to wear something with a collar to match the atmosphere. On our first stay last time we didn’t know what to expect and dressed too casually—lesson learned. Shorts and a T-shirt would probably still be fine; this is simply about maintaining the overall ambiance. The outer-side seating likely has better views, but if you have children I recommend sitting on the lobby side—you don’t have to worry as much about others there, which really helps. If your baby starts crying hard nonstop (as babies do), you can simply step out. I’m very interested in dinner as well, but with a baby we couldn’t use it considering the atmosphere—hopefully someday. The evening ambiance is wonderful. Service is excellent as expected—from checkout through seeing us off was superb—and I honestly wonder if there is any Accommodation that surpasses this one. Given today’s times I imagine staff training must be challenging everywhere, but this Accommodation’s hospitality stands out as truly exceptional. Thank you to all staff members and chefs alike. This was our first trip to Okayama Prefecture, and thanks to all the staff, we were able to enjoy a comfortable Onsen getaway. We now have one more Ryokan we would love to visit again. Each villa has its own indoor bath and open-air Onsen, so even elderly guests were able to relax and enjoy it at their own pace. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The garden and reflecting pool were also beautifully maintained and a pleasure to look at. The meals were excellent in both ingredients and preparation, and everything was delicious. The dashi was rich in flavor, and we were truly impressed by the chef’s careful work. The staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles and kindly assisted our elderly guest with luggage, meal service, and more. We felt refreshed both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a concert trip this time. Because of the concert end time and traffic, I didn’t arrive until 9:00 PM, and I ended up getting to dinner very late, but you welcomed me with a smile and I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was also delicious, and since I had some time before checkout, I was able to take a walk in Kenrokuen Garden across the street. The location is excellent, and above all, every staff member was smiling and seemed genuinely happy—I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Kanazawa. Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. Although the weather in Hakone was unsettled, we had a wonderful stay as always. From our scenic Room, the drifting clouds and mist felt truly magical. The meals were carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Breakfast was also excellent, and we enjoyed an elegant morning while sipping a mimosa. In a relaxing and refined setting, we received excellent service and had a great stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I was able to step away from my busy daily routine and enjoy a calm, high-quality 3-day, 2-night stay. The front desk staff’s polished service was truly pleasant, and I felt reassured from the moment I arrived. The Room was kept beautifully clean and well arranged, and I could sense thoughtful attention to detail throughout. I believe this is an appealing Accommodation, perfect for adults who want to relax quietly in Kamakura. Also, the email replies to my inquiries (before my stay) were very prompt, which was extremely helpful.

This is my fourth stay, and each time has been better than the last. In addition to the exceptional hospitality each staff member shows to every guest, you can also feel their dedication to continually improving the Accommodation, and I discover something new with every visit. I’m always grateful for the irreplaceable time I get to spend here—something I can only experience at Takinami. Next time will be in autumn. Thank you in advance.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. I feel as if both my body and mind have been refreshed. I can hardly believe how reasonably priced it is. Thank you very much. Despite being located in a lively part of town, the property felt like a different world—wrapped in serene tranquility. The cool breeze drifting through the reed doors and the pleasantly textured ajiro weaving, which I experienced for the first time, deeply moved me as part of Japan’s beautiful “summer setting.” Listening to the gentle sound of the shishi-odoshi echoing through the impeccably kept garden and spending time in the dignified tea room were truly luxurious moments that soothed my soul. The food and drinks were also exceptional—everything felt wonderfully satisfying to all five senses. Thank you sincerely for your thoughtful touches throughout. It became a wonderful summer memory, and my first visit back to Kyoto in a while was made even more special.
