We stayed in a cottage this time. Although it is a bit old, it is kept very clean. It rained on the day we checked out, but there is a roofed walkway so you can reach the front desk without getting wet. Both Onsen were wonderful, and we would love to visit again.

Thank you for taking care of us during our visit home to see family. 　 When I made the Reservation, I didn’t know there would be a fireworks festival on our stay date. After realizing it the day before, I called to ask about traffic restrictions. You explained everything very kindly and thoroughly, which allowed us to head there with peace of mind. 　 At check-in, you clearly explained how to use the parking area and the Facility, and also gave us helpful advice related to the fireworks festival. Your service was truly pleasant. In addition, I accidentally left my car key at the counter, but you went out of your way to find it and bring it back to me later—thank you very much. 　 The Room was spacious and well maintained, so we were able to relax comfortably. However, since this is a pension-style Accommodation, soundproofing is somewhat limited. We could hear children from a family staying upstairs running around. As it didn’t quiet down even after the designated time (10:00 PM), I informed a staff member; after a while the footsteps stopped, so I believe you took some kind of action. 　 The location is convenient: there’s a 24-hour supermarket nearby as well as public baths and restaurants, so even with No Meals Included we had no trouble at all. Cooking utensils, tableware, and an IH cooktop are fully provided too, so self-catering is easy. 　 Shirarahama Beach is about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to go swimming in the sea. We were also able to watch the fireworks up close that day and were very satisfied. 　 This was an Accommodation I’d like to use again when I have another chance. Thank you!

Although the property is old, it was kept very clean, and the Onsen was also very good. If I had to mention something, I would have liked a hair dryer in the Room, and the deodorizer placed in the Room had not been replaced. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again.

We stayed at this accommodation for our first trip to Yufuin from Tokyo and to celebrate a birthday. At first, we were surprised that the staff were mostly foreigners, but then a Japanese staff member came out and provided very polite service. The room was spacious with a soothing aroma of tea that made us feel relaxed. The private open-air onsen was amazing with great ambiance and water quality, plus there was something like a courtyard which made it feel even more spacious and wonderful! I love onsens so much that I visit private open-air ones twice a month, but this one was truly exceptional compared to others I've experienced. There is also a family bath with beautiful views of Mount Yufu. The creative dinner dishes were delicious and satisfying, but what touched me the most was the thoughtful birthday celebration service they provided—thank you so much! This accommodation exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely love to stay here again!

On the third day of my solo trip from Tokyo to Saga, I stayed at Shunkeiya in Takeo Onsen. It is located right next to the Romon Gate, and the building is very clean and beautiful. They prepared a 14-tatami corner Room for me even though I was traveling alone, and dinner served in the Room was wonderfully varied and absolutely delicious. The attendant assigned to my Room was also excellent, and the free-flowing natural hot spring water was superb. Even though I was on my own, they provided Shuttle Service to the station—an Accommodation where everything was thoughtfully taken care of. I love traveling and have stayed in many places, but considering how reasonably priced it is, I was satisfied with everything here. If it were in the Kanto area, I could visit often—it's a shame it’s not. Next time, I would definitely like to come again with my wife. This first solo trip became a truly wonderful memory for me.

Although the building is very old, everything was thoroughly cleaned throughout, and I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff were so polite it almost made me feel bad. There are also staff members who speak excellent English, so international guests should have no trouble. The meals were generous—perhaps a slightly smaller Plan could be offered as well. The open-air bath, the large public bath, and the in-Room bath (a bit small) all had wonderful water quality. I stayed for two nights from Friday, and quite often it felt like we had the baths to ourselves. For international guests, there seemed to be some confusion about where to take off slippers and how to use the small towel. If you could provide explanations not only in words but also with simple illustrations and written instructions, I think everyone could enjoy bathing more comfortably (for example: dry your body before returning to the changing area—sometimes the floor ends up quite wet). It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station, very quiet, and perfect for relaxing. This is a Ryokan I would like to visit again to support them going forward. On departure they kindly prepared to drive me to the station, but since I still had time before my train I decided to walk instead—and I was surprised when they even apologized for that. Everyone was truly kind. Lastly, the attendant in charge of my Room was friendly and helpful, leaving me with an excellent overall impression. Thank you very much for taking care of me.

A sulfur-scented, free-flowing hot spring fed directly from the source, shimmering emerald green. Mineral deposits quickly form on the surface—proof of true free-flowing spring water. An Accommodation with no excessive services—just soak in the baths and stay overnight. Yet it feels like it offered the most precious time and opportunity. I’ll come again.

This was our second stay at Accommodation Noshi-yu. We stayed in a different room this time, and the smooth check-in process in the room was great. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. The staff's service was also attentive. The meals were delicious, showcasing the accommodation's dedication to quality. As always, the hot spring was perfect. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return again!

This was my first stay at an auberge. The French cuisine, enjoyed with chopsticks, was incredibly delicious, and the carefully selected tableware added to the experience. The Onsen was almost like a private bath, with gentle water that left my skin feeling smooth. There was no TV in the room, but it allowed me to relax and unwind fully.

The meals and baths are excellent. The rice and soba are delicious. The Room feels clean. The quiet atmosphere is very relaxing. I would like to visit again. From a repeat guest who has stayed many times. The service is also good.

I had used the day-use hot springs several times before and fell in love with the water at first sight. Wanting to spend more time soaking in the water, I decided to stay at this accommodation this time! The staff at the accommodation were incredibly kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. It has become a place I definitely want to stay again!

It was a wonderful Ryokan. Our Room did not have a bath, but there were many private baths available, and we could use any open one without a Reservation, so it was not an issue at all. The meals were more than we could finish, and even my son—who eats a lot—was full and satisfied. Everyone welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service, and we were able to spend a comfortable, lovely time.

Among the few pet-friendly accommodations, I chose a no-dinner plan as I had plans during the day and checked in late. Prioritizing cost-effectiveness since it was just for staying overnight. The room was well-cleaned, had a sense of cleanliness, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious enough, leaving me very satisfied, making this accommodation a definite choice for repeat visits. The onsen at the external bathhouse was also excellent. Thank you very much!

From the moment we walked through the gate, the place was filled with cat-themed goods, with lots of adorable items everywhere. The tableware and glasses were lovely, and even breakfast was cute—and delicious. We enjoyed it fully from arrival until bedtime, and again in the morning. The bath was private and very spacious, so we could relax comfortably and recover from our travel fatigue. It was also perfect timing—we were happy to see so many fireflies. Everyone was kind, and we were able to unwind at a very relaxed pace.

I booked this Ryokan two days before my trip to Atami. It is located near Kinomiya Station, which is within walking distance from Atami. The location was excellent, especially being just a few minutes' walk to Kinomiya Shrine. The room was a typical Ryokan style, offering an authentic experience. Although the angle of the room was slightly awkward, I could still catch a glimpse of the sea. This Ryokan also has table tennis facilities, which provided some simple yet enjoyable entertainment. The onsen bath was small but gave a nice onsen experience. However, there were no facial cleansers available, which might be inconvenient for women. I added breakfast to my stay and enjoyed bread, bananas, boiled eggs, fruits, and drinks. While simple in variety, having breakfast at the Ryokan added to the travel atmosphere nicely.

I visited for a stay after skiing at Hoonoki-daira Ski Resort. The open-air cypress bath made by the owner's father was very pleasant, and I enjoyed it twice, at night and in the morning. I really liked the temperature of the water, its size, and the view. The food was also very delicious, and we ended up drinking too much sake, but both my wife and I were very satisfied. With skiing, onsen, and delicious meals, this is a property I definitely want to visit again.

The location is excellent, and the building is new, ensuring a satisfying stay. Parking is available next to the building, and it’s within walking distance of Gero Station. The customer service is great, providing recommendations and the latest information. Gassho Village is also within walking distance. However, the unit bath in the room is small. There is a private open-air bath available for an additional fee with time restrictions, but popular time slots fill up quickly. While there are affiliated Onsen facilities, they close relatively early, so it’s best to plan around your dinner schedule. Additionally, breakfast portions are small and may not be sufficient for big eaters. Overall, this place is recommended if you want to enjoy Gero casually!

I used this property to visit Kaike Onsen to eat crab. I chose to spend a bit more on meals and save on stays, so I used this property. There was also the option of a business hotel, but choosing this property was the right decision. There are comments about thin walls, and while that might be true, I didn't notice it because there happened to be no one making loud noises. I might have been lucky. The onsen bath area has a narrow and cluttered changing room, but there is a cypress semi-open-air bath (for one person), which was pleasant. There is a well-equipped kitchen, so I was able to prepare my own breakfast, which was nice. I would like to use it again in the summer.

Overall, I was satisfied. However, the lights were either fully on or completely off, so I’d like the living room lighting to be improved.
