With our 2- and 4-year-old sons, we often have to be extra careful when traveling, but at this Accommodation we were able to enjoy meals and bathing without worrying about others thanks to the in-Room dining Plan and the private bath. We were told it was a mountain-side Room with no ocean view, but a staff member mentioned that “you may be able to see storks from the window,” and our animal-loving kids happily enjoyed the view from the window. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we were glad as a couple that we could eat at a relaxed pace. All of the staff were kind to our children as well, and we would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Kinosaki!

I stayed for one night on my way back from hiking in Oze. Although I was traveling solo, they kindly welcomed me, which I truly appreciated. The building shows its age, but it was very well cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. There are only a few staff members, but just as the Reviews said, everyone was kind, polite, and welcoming with a smile. I also appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were excellent—especially the locally grown rice—and they even encouraged me to have seconds, so I was able to eat plenty. I was also grateful that the bath could be used all night except during cleaning hours. It’s a sulfur spring bath, but not too strong or harsh, so I could soak slowly and relieve my fatigue. I didn’t see any foreign guests during my stay, and other guests had good manners as well; overall it felt calm and relaxing throughout. When I visit Oze again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

We stayed on 8/3. It was our first trip to Saga and our first time at Furu-yu Onsen, and we were able to fully enjoy the Onsen and a truly delicious meal. The Facility feels a bit old and historic, but it has been nicely renovated, so we had a comfortable stay. We chose the Saga beef Plan, and both the hot stone grill and shabu-shabu were very tender and delicious. It was also great to dine in a semi-private room while enjoying the view outside. This time we requested the “Crane’s Return of Kindness Plan,” and the staff kindly accommodated us. The finished video turned out wonderfully, and my wife was so moved that she has watched it many times since we got home. They gladly responded to our requests and even suggested a surprise plan, for which we are very grateful. Furu-yu Onsen itself doesn’t seem very well known, which felt a little quiet, but it’s such a great Onsen that I’d like to recommend it to others as well. Right now, it’s especially recommended thanks to the Kingdom collaboration!

Conveniently located right near Yunotsu Onsen Motoyu and Yakushiyu, the Room was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals. It’s far from where I live, but I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. If your schedule allows, be sure to watch the Iwami Kagura held at Ryugozen Shrine.

The meals were even better than I expected from the Reviews, and I could tell they were prepared with great care and time. I reserved a Room on the third floor, but the stairs are steep, so I don’t think I could return unless my legs are still strong enough. Yufuin Onsen seems to have many Accommodations. I highly recommend Hakuunso.

We traveled to the Tohoku region by car from Osaka! The owner was very kind and made us feel warm with their fun interactions. They offered us a "large room" and said, "Shuttle service is free, so feel free to enjoy some drinks!" They also mentioned, "We can extend your check-out time if needed." Although we didn’t use it as we left early in the morning, I thought it was excellent service! Naruko Onsen was wonderful! If I have another chance to visit, I’d love to stay again! People from Osaka are also very nice, so please come to like them too. Keep up the great work!

I was looking for an Onsen Accommodation where I could stay with my pet and found a Ryokan with excellent Reviews. It was a wonderful Onsen Ryokan, just as I had hoped. I was amazed by the number of dishes served one after another—and by how delicious they were... Enjoying a sake tasting with the food, then another cup while listening to explanations from the young master, a true sake expert. Breakfast was also delicious. It was an amazing time. (The Onsen was slightly hot—perfect.) Next time, I’d like to stay here with my wife.

The Onsen on the day I stayed was not crowded, so I was able to relax very much. The water temperature was not too hot, and I could soak at a leisurely pace. The Hotel feels a bit dated, but nothing bothered me. I would like to stay again.

The room was neither too spacious nor too small, just the right size for two adults. The room was also clean (though I noticed a long hair on the robe, which concerned me slightly). The bath was an open-air one, and while there were houses a bit further away that made me wonder if they could see in, there were adjustable automatic shutters. When fully lowered, they completely blocked the view from outside and kept out the cold air. Despite snow remaining from the previous day, we could enjoy a warm soak without feeling chilly. The temperature of the bath was just right for relaxing. Concerns: We chose a plan with in-room dining for our meals. However, after grilling meat during dinner, its smell lingered throughout the room until bedtime. While it might have been our oversight as well, future guests opting for this plan might want to keep their bedroom doors closed during meals to avoid this issue. It would be considerate if staff could mention this when serving meals or perhaps provide additional amenities like room sprays alongside air purifiers to enhance comfort further. That said, the meat was tender and delicious; other dishes were also very tasty with portions that felt just right. With free beer dispensers, ice cream machines, drinks in the fridge available at no extra cost, and even foot baths provided—this is overall a wonderful accommodation! Next time I’d love to visit again with my mother. Thank you for your hospitality!

The location is so amazing that all I could say upon arrival was "Wow," "Beautiful," and "Wonderful." I will definitely visit again.

With check-in at 2:00 PM, this Hotel is recommended if you arrive in Kusatsu early and want to sightsee around Yubatake first. However, it’s hard to tell from the map, but walking from the Hotel to the downtown area where Yubatake is located requires going up and down a very steep hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk one way, but the uphill stretch is quite tough. The in-house Facility, public bath, and Room had been renovated and were clean and comfortable, but I was unlucky with my Room—the sound of rain hitting the Facility roof outside the window was loud and made it hard to sleep—so I rated the guest room two stars lower and overall satisfaction one point lower.

I stayed for one night. The Room was a twin in the annex, and I was able to relax comfortably. There is an Onsen in the building that is available 24 hours, so it was great to be able to bathe early in the morning as well. Yukata were provided in the Room, and at night I enjoyed strolling around the illuminated Yubatake in a yukata, which became a wonderful memory. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kusatsu.

This was my first stay in Yufuin Onsen. A week before my stay, there had been heavy rain and I was told train services were suspended, but the staff’s phone support left a very positive impression. I chose a detached Accommodation, and the Room was clean and the Onsen was excellent. There was something like insect repellent spray in the Room, so I wondered if there might be a lot of bugs, but it didn’t bother me at all. Both dinner and breakfast were very generous portions and simply delicious. The amount is more than I can finish, so I feel bad leaving food; I would appreciate it if you could offer a smaller-portion Plan as well.

We stayed with our 4-year-old. With a loft and a terrace, our child was delighted, saying, “What a lovely house!” The place was well prepared for the cold, with plenty of flowers and soft indirect lighting. The bathroom and changing area were spacious and easy to use. It would have been perfect if it had an Onsen, but the water was pleasantly soft. We also appreciated the juice and snacks as a parting gift. We’d love to stay again!

For our summer trip to Shimane Prefecture, we chose Matsudairakaku based on everyone’s Reviews. The spacious, spotless Room connected to the garden was wonderful, and dinner was truly more than we could finish—we looked forward to it every night. They also had a great selection of local sake, and we ended up drinking a bit too much. When sightseeing, they shared recommended routes that only locals would know. On our last day, since we had an early departure, they kindly prepared breakfast earlier for us as well—we apologize for the inconvenience. Everything was perfect, and it made for a fantastic trip to Shimane. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Run by a warm and thoughtful couple. The entire property is spotless, and we were truly impressed by the carefully prepared breakfast and dinner. An outstanding Accommodation in every way.

I only met the staff at check-in; after that, I didn’t really see anyone, and check-out is simple—just drop the key in the box. The Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, be careful with the bath water—it’s extremely hot (maybe around 50°C). It takes time to cool it down with the shower, so it’s not ideal if multiple people need to use the bath one after another.

I am a senior resident of Osaka, and this was my first visit to Tenkawa Village. Thank you for taking such good care of us. From my 30s onward I was constantly away on long business trips, then worked overseas from my late 40s through late 50s. After retiring at 60, I was assigned alone to a domestic affiliate company—15 years living apart from my family in total. During that time, I left all childcare and household responsibilities to my wife. Now that I have reached my second retirement at 65, I wanted—at the very least—to make it up to her. Because she loves nature (gorges, limestone caves, views from high elevations, and more), and because seeing fireflies was her top wish, we chose Nishisei as a Ryokan with delicious cuisine in an area where we could enjoy firefly viewing as well as an Onsen. We stayed one night from July 10 to 11. We arrived a little early for check-in, but you kindly welcomed us right away. While sightseeing, my wife lightly twisted her ankle. When I mentioned it to the female staff member in charge, she immediately brought us a cold compress patch. After dinner, you also drove us to a spot where we could see fireflies. Just as we had heard beforehand, everyone in this area is truly kind—I felt genuine hospitality throughout our stay. The manager told us that it might be hard to know whether we would be able to see any fireflies due to the timing of the season; however, at the riverside spot he guided us to, there were what seemed like well over one hundred flying about—a sight that even surprised him! We were deeply moved by the incredible swarm of fireflies unlike anything we had ever seen before. My wife said that every part of this trip matched her tastes perfectly and that she enjoyed it immensely. Personally as well—the Onsen (a bit hot but wonderfully refreshing afterward), the delicious meals served in our spacious private dining room-style setting, and the dancing fireflies—everything impressed me greatly. I was worried about getting there, but the Onsen with the open-air bath was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful and impressive. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.
