I revisited this accommodation early because I had such a great experience last month. Although the Awazu Kaiseki did not include tempura, the delicious appetizers and eight kinds of fresh sashimi made the sake taste even better. By the time I finished the pork shabu-shabu and chawanmushi, I was already full, but the seasoned rice was so delicious that I ended up overeating. For breakfast, they served "Hyakumangoku" brand rice, which is often found in ryokan in Ishikawa Prefecture. However, their cooking method was exceptional, making it more delicious than any other ryokan I've stayed at before. While abalone, nodoguro fish, and Noto beef are available as additional orders, even without them, their delicately flavored dishes were more than satisfying. The bathwater quality was gentle on my sensitive skin and allowed me to soak for long periods without feeling overheated. The therapeutic waterfall shower relieved pain in my shoulders, neck, and back when applied to those areas—I even thought about saving money to come here for a week-long hot spring retreat someday! The room had been recently renovated; it was impeccably clean with a large LCD TV for added comfort. However, since we arrived early perhaps due to timing issues—the air conditioning wasn't turned on upon arrival during wintertime—it felt cold initially; preheating would have been appreciated during colder months like these! Lastly but importantly: homemade pudding by Okami (the hostess) tasted amazing too—overall providing excellent value exceeding expectations from this accommodation!

We stayed at this hotel to purchase sea urchin in Rishiri. We chose it because both dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, which is ideal for us as older guests with smaller appetites, since we can freely choose what we like. The dinner was satisfying in both quality and variety. Breakfast was also delicious—nothing to complain about. Highly recommended. The Room was clean, and the view was in perfect condition, with a lighthouse visible. However, getting around the island can be a bit inconvenient if you are traveling independently.

I found this place while searching mainly for an Onsen, and since it also offers Accommodation at a reasonable price, I decided to visit. The Onsen was spacious and had a sauna, so I could relax. The entire Facility was kept very clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming—I was more than satisfied for the price. I don’t get to come to this area often, but I’ll stop by again next time.

Our stay coincided with the traditional event "Owatari" in Shinojima. At check-in, we were informed that there would be a time when the entire island turns off its lights to align with the gods' procession. For about 20 minutes during dinner, the lights went out, and we enjoyed our meal using the provided candlelight and our phone lights. Although it was surprising at first, it turned out to be a rare and enjoyable experience. As mentioned in reviews, the food was delicious, and the facility was impeccably clean. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

Shuttle Service, two meals, a towel, and one drink were included for around 10,000 yen. It was very reasonable, close to the sea, and the view from the Room was fantastic. There are also sightseeing spots like the Anmo Observatory, which made the experience excellent. I would love to visit again.

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. From the hostess’s warm welcome to the stunning third-floor Room and terrace with exceptional views. The Room has windows on three sides. Open the door and you’re greeted by a view of Cape Shionomisaki. A terrace where you can enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Every dish was delicious—we ordered two servings each of the meat course and the fish course, and ended up overeating. I was a bit surprised that access to the Room was via an outdoor staircase I hadn’t expected, but once you come down the stairs, Cape Shionomisaki is right in front of you. If it had been raining, getting around might have been tough, but luckily the rain from the previous day had cleared, temperatures rose, and my mood soared too. The bath is not an Onsen, but while it shows its age, it was clean and felt well maintained. Another thing I loved was the “duvet cover.” It felt so nice that I want to find one for home—I wish I’d asked what brand it was. The Room itself was so comfortable, and it was great to just zone out while gently swaying in the hammock.

This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a stay around Lake Yamanaka near Mt. Fuji. What I appreciated most was the free Shuttle Service from the Fujisan-Yamanakako bus stop to the Hotel. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00, and being taken directly to the Hotel after getting off the bus made me feel very comfortable even on my first visit. If you plan to use it, be sure to make a Reservation in advance online or by phone. The location is also excellent, and Rooms on the Mt. Fuji side offer a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight. Being able to relax in your Room while enjoying that view feels special. All of the staff were very kind, and it was impressive how attentive and pleasant everyone was, regardless of nationality. The overall atmosphere was warm, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. Before staying, I had seen in a Review that “the shower room is a bit small,” which made me slightly concerned, but in reality it was a unit-bath style setup and personally felt like an appropriate size. It was easier to use than I expected, with no inconvenience at all. I also added meals on-site, and the eel course was excellent—I was very satisfied. There were plenty of dishes included, which was especially enjoyable for an eel lover like me. With great views, location, service, and dining all well balanced, this is a Hotel I would happily choose again.

This is a private rental of a renovated traditional house, very spacious, and overall we had a comfortable stay. The bedroom was cozy, and the bathroom and vanity area were especially large, which made it convenient for two people to get ready at the same time. The lighting was bright and easy to use, insect control indoors was well handled, and we were able to use the Facility without any issues. When we consulted in advance about the check-in time, they kindly accommodated an earlier check-in, which was very helpful. There is also Shuttle Service available, making transportation very convenient. On the other hand, there are two points we would be happy to see improved. First is the height of some beams. For someone around 175 cm tall, a beam sits just above eye level, making it easy to miss—I hit my head several times. Since I hit it quite hard once, for safety it would be reassuring to have warning stickers or signs. Second, in the first-floor bedroom we could hear some road noise from passing cars at night. The second floor was relatively quiet, so those who are sensitive to noise may prefer sleeping upstairs. Other than that, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a traditional house.

As soon as we stepped inside, we were amazed by the gorgeous interior and how much closer the ocean was than we had imagined. The ocean view was truly breathtaking—an experience you don’t often get. The welcome drinks at check-in came in many varieties, which made it feel special and was perfect hospitality on a hot day. Both dinner and breakfast were prepared at the time we requested, so we could relax. For dinner, the BBQ included local meats, seafood, vegetables, and more, with explanations provided for each item. It was our first time using this type of grill, but the staff kindly showed us how to use it, so even beginners could grill everything deliciously with confidence. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and we were very satisfied with dinner. We usually have to prepare everything ourselves for a BBQ (including cleanup), so it was great that the Hotel took care of everything. After dinner, we enjoyed coffee while watching the sunset. Three types of coffee beans and an electric grinder were provided, along with instructions on how to use the grinder and recommended grind sizes—so we could enjoy freshly brewed coffee and spend a truly special time. There was a jacuzzi on the terrace bath area, and our kids were thrilled since it was their first time. The amenities for children included cute dolphin toothbrushes and sponges, which they loved. For adults, there were ReFa shower heads as well as a hair dryer, hair iron/curling iron tools? , hair oil? etc., leaving our hair smoother than usual—we were delighted. The croissants and roast beef at breakfast were also delicious. We would definitely like to stay again.

Even when we arrived early 10 years ago on a family trip, they kindly let us use the pool. This time we stayed as a couple, and just like 10 years ago, all the staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay here again. Miho Shrine and Aoishi Tatami Street are very close by, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After breakfast, we were able to walk to Miho Shrine to pay our respects, and it was a very meaningful time. We stayed as a family of five, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you very much.

I used this place after a long time. It is sufficient for business use. Mobile charging cables are provided, including Lightning for iPhone, Type-C for Sharp smartphones, and Micro USB for power banks. It's not a big issue, but the USB port on the bedside was damaged, so I couldn't charge my phone while using it in bed.

This is a very comfortable Accommodation among the Onsen Accommodations in Beppu. The price is reasonable, and since it is located in Kannawa Onsen, both the Hells Tour and the Steam Observation Deck are nearby. The Onsen was wonderful, with both private family baths and a large public bath. You can fully enjoy Beppu’s hot springs. The food is also delicious—especially the jigoku-mushi, which was excellent. The portions were just right for me as well. Also, because there was a controlled burn on Mt. Ogi on the day I stayed, they kindly adjusted my dinner time specially for me. The burn itself was a little different from what I expected due to rain the previous day, but it became a great memory. Thank you very much. I truly recommend this Accommodation.

This was my first stay. Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of side dishes and generous portions, which was great. The meat in particular was delicious. From the Room, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. The bath is not an Onsen, but it is spacious, and morning bathing is also available. It was disappointing that the Accommodation did not have a refrigerator and only provided 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner.

This was my first stay, but it has become a repeat Accommodation for me. I’ve already made a Reservation for the year-end and New Year holidays. The only reason I deducted one star is that there are two cafes, and I mistakenly went to the one that isn’t the dog cafe (the Hotel). It was cool and comfortable, but we ended up eating on the terrace. Clearer signage would be reassuring. Other than that, no complaints at all. It’s such a wonderful place that I almost don’t want to share it (lol). The Onsen surprised me with its unique color, scent, and bubbles, but it felt amazing. The in-Room meal delivered to us was also very delicious. I’d like to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

It was my first trip in a long time, and I was really looking forward to it. The Ryokan was easy to find, with the main building and Rinsuitei facing each other. The Room was spacious, and I had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was also very relaxing and enjoyable. I couldn’t find any tableware such as spoons in the Room, so I thought it would be nice to have them available. There was also plenty of parking space.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

I chose the lower-priced meal option, and this is my rating. The bath and the Room are on the small side, but there was plenty of hot water and it was good. There is no sauna, but I can’t use one anyway due to my constitution, so it wasn’t an issue.

Everything was excellent, including the surrounding environment. The staff and the proprietress were all impeccable in their hospitality. Thank you very much. We will visit again in November to see the autumn leaves.
