The stay was relatively short as the main purpose was visiting the Osaka Expo, but overall it was comfortable with almost no stress. The adjacent onsen facility had excellent water quality, and the facility as a whole was in good condition. The room was comfortable with no issues, and while the breakfast buffet initially seemed ordinary, as expected of Osaka, the taste turned out to be great. Minor downsides include the poor quality of toothbrushes provided. Additionally, although it didn’t bother me personally, most guests were inbound tourists making it quite lively. Overall, I would rate this above average in terms of both cost performance and quality.

I stayed here on May 28 while cycling the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. The building has a covered bicycle parking area immediately to the left of the entrance, which was very helpful. Taking the elevator to the second floor, I found a spacious front desk area with a cohesive gray-toned interior that was spotless and well maintained—my impression was of a very well-managed Hotel. Since I arrived early, I left some luggage with them and visited Temple No. 57 (Eifuku-ji) and Temple No. 58 (Senyu-ji) before check-in time. Senyu-ji in particular is beyond a steep climb of over 2 km, so being able to store my luggage was a huge help. After check-in, I also enjoyed the sauna with auto löyly, the large public bath, and the third-floor lounge offering complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, ice cream, and local sake (evenings only). I stayed without meals, but there were supermarkets and roadside restaurants nearby (Yoshinoya, MOS Burger, etc.), so it wasn’t an issue at all. If my departure hadn’t been so early in the morning, I would have liked to try the Hotel breakfast... My only complaint was that the laundry machine fee of 300 yen and dryer fee of 300 yen felt slightly higher than at other hotels; otherwise everything was high quality. Given how affordable it was as well, I was extremely satisfied.

The meals and baths are excellent. The rice and soba are delicious. The Room feels clean. The quiet atmosphere is very relaxing. I would like to visit again. From a repeat guest who has stayed many times. The service is also good.

Upon arrival, we were able to use the parking lot and leave our luggage, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in Hiroshima at a relaxed pace. The Room was comfortable and provided a peaceful stay. Breakfast was leisurely and enjoyable, leaving us overall very satisfied. The only slight disappointment was the weak Wi-Fi connection, possibly due to overlapping with group guests. We would love to stay again if given the opportunity—such a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you for your hospitality!

Reserved a non-smoking room and was provided with a perfect non-smoking room. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, exceeded expectations and were highly satisfying. I will definitely use this service again if I have the chance. Highly recommended.

A companion had a trouble with their bike tipping over, but we were helped to lift it up, which was very appreciated. With No Meals Included and a bath available, it's rare to find such an affordable place at this price. If there is another opportunity, I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of three. Being close to the earthquake-affected area gave us a lot to think about. The ocean view from our Room was truly moving. Everything throughout the Facility was kept very clean, and it was so relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast were made with fresh ingredients and were very delicious. The sushi was excellent as well. We would love to stay again.

It took about 10 minutes from the station, but it’s a nice place. I’d like to use nearby Ogawamachi. The interior was clean, and the bed was spacious and comfortable. You can hear a bit of traffic noise, but I don’t think it will bother you.

The Room was spacious and had a large vanity, which made it very convenient to spread out our belongings. The bed and pillows were excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. We also appreciated being on the first floor, so there was no waiting for the elevator. Thank you very much.

I had used the day-use hot springs several times before and fell in love with the water at first sight. Wanting to spend more time soaking in the water, I decided to stay at this accommodation this time! The staff at the accommodation were incredibly kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. It has become a place I definitely want to stay again!

It was a wonderful Ryokan. Our Room did not have a bath, but there were many private baths available, and we could use any open one without a Reservation, so it was not an issue at all. The meals were more than we could finish, and even my son—who eats a lot—was full and satisfied. Everyone welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service, and we were able to spend a comfortable, lovely time.

We arrived empty-handed, but the staff kindly guided us to a nearby supermarket where we could shop for BBQ supplies. Although it was just the two of us, there were many children around on that day, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. After the BBQ, we relaxed in the Onsen with its clear and silky smooth water, which was incredibly soothing. The Room was in a log cabin style, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the warmth of natural wood. The breakfast was also delicious.

As both check-in and check-out are contactless, service is not rated. There is only a vending machine for drinks, so it’s best to buy any food you may need before checking in. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk. Parking is available at a paid coin-operated parking lot.

Among the few pet-friendly accommodations, I chose a no-dinner plan as I had plans during the day and checked in late. Prioritizing cost-effectiveness since it was just for staying overnight. The room was well-cleaned, had a sense of cleanliness, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious enough, leaving me very satisfied, making this accommodation a definite choice for repeat visits. The onsen at the external bathhouse was also excellent. It was the hot season, so we stayed here on our first trip to Kita-Karuizawa. Since it was raining, we quickly visited Shiraito Falls and checked in after 3:00 pm. They said they installed air conditioning for the first time last year, but the window screens and fan were enough for us. There are two baths, and families can reserve them for private use; I enjoyed soaking twice by myself. The water felt soft and very pleasant. The Room also had POLA amenities, which was a nice touch. The refrigerator is shared, so you write your name on your items. Dinner uses local and homegrown vegetables and fruit, and everything was delicious. For the main dish there is beef or pork; the barley-fed pork roast was outstanding. The sauce was great, but it was delicious even with just salt and pepper. The salad dressing at dinner was also excellent. There are about 50 kinds of wine, and both extra coffee and alcoholic drinks are very reasonably priced. The breakfast bread was placed in a bag with warmed stones (?) inside, so it stayed warm and crispy—really tasty. The owner’s wife shared lots of information about nearby farm stands and the area around here, so on our way back—once the weather cleared—we stopped again at Kubo Farm, Tsuruya Karuizawa store, and the outlet mall before heading home. Vegetables and fruit are inexpensive there, making shopping really fun. I’ve come to love Kita-Karuizawa, and I think we’ll be staying here again next year as well. Thank you very much.

The Room was very clean, and it was extremely comfortable with a Kirigamine air conditioner and an air purifier. Also, you can use the Onsen on the adjacent property as many times as you like by showing your Room key, so this Accommodation is recommended for those who love Onsen. The water is clear and leaves your skin feeling moisturized. Thank you very much for your hospitality during our stay.

My long-held wish to visit Mount Koya finally came true for the first time, and thanks to being able to stay at Ekoin, it became an even more memorable experience. Starting with Ajikan meditation, I was able to do everything I had hoped for—sutra copying, morning prayers, the Goma fire ritual, and shojin ryori—making these two days truly precious. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. The toilet and bath were separate, there was a steak restaurant next door, and a convenience store across the street. Behind the Accommodation, there was a fishing port and a small park, and we were pleasantly surprised to find earplugs among the amenities. The elevator “Open” button didn’t work well, so we had to stop it with our foot. There was a step between the Room and the (spacious) bath area, but they kindly stacked mats as a temporary fix, which really helped. The faucet at the sink in the bath area was stiff. There was no washing machine. There were some drawbacks, but everyone was very kind to us.

From the moment we walked through the gate, the place was filled with cat-themed goods, with lots of adorable items everywhere. The tableware and glasses were lovely, and even breakfast was cute—and delicious. We enjoyed it fully from arrival until bedtime, and again in the morning. The bath was private and very spacious, so we could relax comfortably and recover from our travel fatigue. It was also perfect timing—we were happy to see so many fireflies. Everyone was kind, and we were able to unwind at a very relaxed pace.
