A spacious, relaxing Hotel.

We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate our grandson's 2nd birthday. The spacious layout was more than enough for five people, and we were thrilled with the large outdoor area. The barbecue facilities, bath, sauna, and open-air bath were all spotless and perfect. The couple who welcomed us were incredibly kind, making our stay very pleasant. At night, we even enjoyed a snowy (sleet) view as a delightful surprise—likely the first snow experience for our grandson. Thank you so much for everything!

Stayed at the end of October with my wife. It was indeed a charming pension inspired by the Green Gable House with its gable roof and fireplace. The interior was polished and exuded cleanliness. The elderly owner was very friendly, kind, and accommodating. The family bath was spacious and spotless. While there were mentions in reviews about the aging facility, it was meticulously cleaned, so I didn’t find it bothersome at all. The family bath was also exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh vegetables that my wife thoroughly enjoyed as well. Although it is set to close by the end of next year, I am determined to visit again before then. This is a pension where families can stay comfortably without worry!

The hostess was incredibly kind. We chose a meal-included Plan. Dinner was a delicious set course, and breakfast came with many small side dishes and was more than filling. We were very satisfied with the private bath, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis if it is not in use at the time. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Booked a great-value room at the last minute. There is an Onsen, free tea in the lobby, and all the staff were very helpful. They also introduced us to the stone-paved streets of Ochiai, which made our trip very fulfilling. Thank you.

It's been a year since my last visit. As with the previous time, I thought the breakfast was amazing, but this time I was surprised to see that local dishes were also included. The Hotel is clean and has been renovated as well. If I had to mention something, the walls are thin! I could hear loud snoring from the next room. Other than that, I had no issues during my stay.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan, and everything about the stay was perfectly fine, but I was especially impressed by the excellent service from the woman at the front desk. If I have another opportunity, I think I will stay here again—thank you in advance for your kind assistance at that time.

About 10 years ago, I stayed here when it was operating as a “weekly apartment,” and this time was my first stay in quite a while. While feeling nostalgic, I also had an extremely comfortable stay. ■ Outstanding hospitality Most impressive of all was the service from the female front desk staff member. Her explanations were very thorough, and she made check-in feel refreshing from the start. Although I work in customer service in a different industry, her attentive care and demeanor were so wonderful that I genuinely felt, “I want to learn from this.” ■ Cleanliness The Room was meticulously cleaned throughout—no dustiness and no unpleasant odors at all—spotlessly clean. The unit bath and toilet (no bidet seat installed) do feel dated as Facility features, but they are polished so well that it more than makes up for their age. Given Yamagata’s many excellent Onsen facilities nearby, if you plan to enjoy bathing outside, it’s not an issue at all. ■ Dining and location It was a little disappointing that the kitchen that used to be available is now unusable, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. In particular, “Sakaeya Honten,” famous for hiyashi ramen (cold ramen), is right across the street—an unbeatable location! You won’t have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. ■ Advice for future guests Check-in hours are relatively tight (15:00–18:00). I recommend planning your schedule with plenty of buffer time. (They seem able to accommodate flexibly if you contact them in advance, but arriving early is safest.) I felt this is a very trustworthy Accommodation where older facilities are more than compensated for by careful cleaning and warm service. I would gladly stay again when visiting Yamagata.

I was happy that the staff spoke to me in a friendly way at check-in. The Room was clean, which made me feel at ease.

I visited after seeing it on Zatsu Tabi. Having grown up in rural Kagawa, the Room felt just like my old home, and it was wonderfully nostalgic. Sleeping on a futon laid out on tatami for the first time in a while was very comfortable. They seemed busy when I arrived, but the proprietress kindly came out to explain everything and show me around. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and I would definitely like to stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you very much.

It was a full moon night, and it was very quiet—yet not lonely at all. I took a short walk in the evening, and the beautiful streetscape made my stay truly pleasant. I could even walk to the shrine I had wanted to visit, which made this one of my most wonderful trips to Kyoto. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my parents upon their recommendation and was completely satisfied with everything. The delicious meals were more than enough, the building had a charming atmosphere, and the autumn leaves visible from the semi-open-air bath were breathtaking. It reminded me of my grandmother and brought a sense of warmth and relaxation. It was such a wonderful accommodation that I would love to stay again.

I found this Facility as a pet-friendly option in the Suwa–Matsumoto area that seemed easy to use and reasonably priced. As you make your way through a maze-like residential neighborhood, the space suddenly opens up and you’ll find the Facility there. The Room is small but unique and comfortable, truly living up to its name as a “secret base you can stay in.” The Room is kept very clean, with amenities and supplies well provided. Despite its size, it’s arranged so you can move efficiently and relax with ease. It was a great example of how to make the most of a compact Room.

This was my third stay here. There is a supermarket nearby, so it was great to be able to cook for myself. My Room was on the 6th floor, so the view was amazing! I will make another Reservation.

Unlike the Business Hotel I stayed at last year, I found that the lack of a TV makes it easier to use the internet, with a well-equipped environment in place.

We stayed as a family of five. Feeling uncertain about the location, we arrived in Nagoya early and went to check it out. By chance, we met a cleaning staff member who kindly spoke to us. After explaining that we came for a preview, they informed the team and later contacted us saying, "The room is ready, so you can come anytime." Thank you very much for your kind response. The Room was very clean and spacious enough for five people to relax comfortably.

Conveniently located near Togouchi Interchange, this accommodation is perfect for stays when visiting ski resorts in areas like Yoshiwa and Geihoku. It offers great views and is fully equipped with facilities such as an onsen, dining hall, shop, and parking lot, all with short walking distances for added convenience. Although I had the impression of high water temperature from past visits to the onsen years ago, this time it was perfectly comfortable. I also appreciate the staff's kind response to my special meal request. (Note: It seems I mistakenly took a towel and bath towel home. I will send them back by mail later—my apologies.)

I’m sorry for the late Review. Although our stay was short, we had a wonderful time at this Accommodation. What I especially liked was that the living room and bedroom are separated by a wall, and that plenty of seasonings and other items were provided. My husband seemed to be looking forward to it even before we arrived because we could enjoy a barbecue. It was very quiet at night, and although it was our first visit, Sanitsu Beach was beautiful as well. Next time, I’ll do my best to stay longer.

Clean and spacious room with an Onsen-like bath that left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The staff's hospitality was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious, making it a memorable stay. I will definitely return when traveling to the Nasu area. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed for one night over the weekend with my dog. The interior design and facilities were excellent, and the meals provided were delicious. I was able to relax as if I were at home. My dog wandered around sniffing everywhere, which made me a bit worried about accidents (though he was wearing a diaper). One concern I had was that the flooring felt quite sticky, possibly due to the rainy weather on that day. When I tried wiping part of it, the cloth turned completely black. It gave me the impression that the floors hadn't been cleaned during housekeeping. Seeing how dirty the cloth became left me feeling a bit disappointed.
