The Facility is a bit dated, but I was satisfied with the complimentary coffee service and breakfast. Overall, I recommend this Hotel for a trip to Miyoshi.

First, when I called the front desk to change my check-in time, they were very pleasant. How staff handle phone calls really matters (it affects whether you’ll come back). Parking: free surface parking. I was worried because it was after 10 pm and a Saturday, but the lot is spacious so I had no trouble parking. Check-in was smooth as well. At the front desk there are paid snacks (like a 100-yen shop) and items such as body towels. I didn’t buy anything this time, but I’d like to use it next time. The twin Room was spacious and comfortable. For this price, having tea and drip coffee provided really impressed me. Amenities were basic—just a toothbrush and razor—plus rinse-in shampoo and body soap. The shower in the bathroom was comfortable too. Breakfast didn’t have desserts, and at first it looked like there weren’t many items, but that wasn’t the case at all—I ended up full and very satisfied. There’s a Cosmos nearby, an AEON-affiliated shop, drugstores/pharmacies, K’s Denki, and family restaurants—very convenient. Additional note: After check-in we went to a family restaurant for dinner. Even though they were busy, the staff were extremely friendly, which made for a great end to the day. Next time I’d like to try dinner here as well as the all-you-can-drink option.

My first trip to Himeji. Amazing value for money. I happened to have a Room on the same floor as the bath, which was great. You can hear some train noise, but the Room is spacious and the food is delicious. It’s right by the station, too. The view was also nice—a train view. The male staff member at the front desk was pleasant as well. I sometimes go to Kobe, but Hotel prices are high and availability is limited, so I even thought it might be worth coming by train to Himeji instead, doing some sightseeing, and staying overnight here.

I stayed here solo as a reward to myself after working hard through the summer. Perched on a hill with ocean views, about 15 minutes from Atami Station by Shuttle Service, it’s only around two hours from my home in Tokyo but felt like a real getaway. From the welcome afternoon tea while soaking in the footbath to the Onsen and delicious meals, I enjoyed everything to the fullest. I’d heard that drinks at dinner were free, but the selection was far more extensive than I expected—even I, who rarely drink alcohol, ended up having sparkling wine and fruit liqueur. This Hotel is surprisingly reasonably priced for what it offers, and you can really feel the effort behind that throughout. The Room was a bit dated and there were some scratches on the fittings and furniture, but details like simple, stylish glasses and cups; using local ingredients even if not luxury items; and keeping amenities to only what’s necessary actually left me with a very positive impression. In earlier Reviews I saw comments such as indoor footwear being wooden geta sandals that were hard to walk in, or that things had become digital and explanations at reception were confusing. However, they now provide stylish slippers indoors, and they also gave clear guidance—including how to use your smartphone—so I felt they genuinely listen to guests’ feedback and keep improving. All of the staff were pleasant right down to housekeeping. As we left in the Shuttle Service car and passed through the gate, I looked back and saw an adorable female staff member waving enthusiastically goodbye—it really warmed my heart. There are a few minor shortcomings if you look for them, but considering the price it’s truly excellent, and I’d love to stay again. Maybe it’s just my bad luck with weather: despite a sunny forecast it stayed cloudy throughout so the sea didn’t look its best. That’s something I’d love to come back for revenge next time (lol).

This is our fourth year staying here. We stay here every summer on our family trip. It’s a Hotel that perfectly embodies the “Welcome home” concept, and each year we truly feel like we’re coming back home when we stay. Our children also love everyone at the Hotel, and we are always comforted by your thoughtful attention to detail and warm smiles. The meals are also delicious—our kids, who usually don’t eat much, ate so much that even we were surprised. In our first year, the main purpose of our trip was going to the beach, but now staying at Powell has become the reason for our visit. Next year, as our children move up a grade, how we spend summer vacation may change and we might not be able to come in summer. Even so, I’m sure we’ll visit again even if it’s in a different season. Thanks to everyone at Powell, it was a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the reception counter made me feel very welcome and at ease. I was able to take only the amenities I needed, which was efficient and convenient. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection—I ended up eating more than I planned. It was close to the station, so getting around anywhere was easy. It made for a very satisfying trip. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

It was reasonably priced, the breakfast was delicious, it was clean, and it offered great access for sightseeing in Hiroshima. The only downside was that check-in was a bit crowded. I’d like to stay again.

For vacations of two days or more, I choose a vacation rental rather than a Hotel or an Onsen Ryokan. From my experience with several rentals, prices and the quality of Facility management vary widely depending on the operator. This property is well maintained with no musty smell inside, towels can be replaced if you go to the management office yourself, the price is reasonable, and the area is quiet—I'd happily stay here again.

We stayed as a family. The family-type room with a bed and sofa was spacious and comfortable, especially with small children. However, the water stains on the walls and floor of the bathroom were quite noticeable. Since we specifically chose a separate toilet and bath type instead of a unit bath, we had higher expectations for cleanliness, which was disappointing. Although we were curious about the restaurant, we didn’t use it this time but hope to try it when our children are older!

It’s about a 15-minute walk from Oita Station, but it’s reasonably priced, so I was very satisfied. Above all, the water quality in the large public bath with natural Onsen is excellent. The free breakfast was also a big help. There were so many options that it didn’t feel like it was free. I will stay here again on my next business trip to Oita.

The Shuttle Service driver was very kind and welcomed us with a smile, and also saw us off when we left, which felt very pleasant. We were able to relax and enjoy the entire Accommodation, the Onsen, and the meals, and we were satisfied overall. However, one of the highlights is probably the lounge, but the beer in the lounge server had run out, and even after we informed staff it wasn’t replenished promptly, which was disappointing. Other guests seemed disappointed as well. Since many guests use it during busy check-in times—and I think many people come specifically for the lounge—I would like to see some improvements from the Accommodation side, such as having one staff member stationed there during that time slot only, or if staffing is difficult, providing canned beer just for those hours.

The breakfast was more substantial than I expected, which increased my overall satisfaction. However, the way the person at the front desk greeted guests in the morning felt a bit too casual for Hotel front desk staff. The Room and Facility are minimal, but with its convenient location near the station and breakfast included, it offers excellent value for money.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. As it was the off-season, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. The building is old, but it has been nicely renovated. Since it was a discounted Room, I could hear some plumbing noise, but if you just want to enjoy the Onsen and sleep, this Accommodation is more than satisfactory.

It was conveniently located near the station, and the Room was spacious, which was great. I was glad I could make a Reservation for parking in advance, but I was disappointed to be told I couldn’t park when I arrived before 15:00. Even with an additional fee, it would be appreciated if early parking were available.

I had a relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay! It was cold with snowfall, but the Tanukikoji shopping arcade was a big help! I also enjoyed the complimentary late-night noodles and was very satisfied! I used the bath at Annex as well and could really feel the differences between them! Crossing over in loungewear was quite an experience, too! I’ll be back!

The staff were very courteous and helpful.

This was my fifth stay, and I visited for three consecutive months. I love the beautiful presentation, delicious food, and the open-air bath. The Room is spacious and wonderful as well. The owner is very kind, making this an Accommodation I definitely want to return to.

There was no comb in the Room, so I had to go to the large public bath to get one. It was my first time staying at an Accommodation that didn’t provide a comb in the Room, so that’s the only amenity I’d rate -1. Other than that, my family and I were very satisfied and able to relax at our own pace! Both the in-room open-air bath and the large public bath have skin-beautifying hot spring water, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth—very happy with it!

This capsule Hotel offers outstanding value for money. The bath area is small, but the Facility is sufficient for bathing. It also comes with a sauna, which is a great bonus at this price.
