I’d been keeping an eye on this place as a summer getaway I wanted to visit someday, and I finally made it this time. It happened to be a day when temperatures had dropped across the whole country, so I wondered if it might not feel much like a cool retreat—but it was cold enough to need a jacket. The air was incredibly fresh, and I took lots of deep breaths on the balcony. It truly felt amazing—I finally understood what people mean by “the air tastes delicious.” The Room was carefully prepared and very comfortable. And the meal served at the counter felt wonderfully luxurious; with the reassuring comfort of being able to go straight to bed afterward, even the drinks tasted better. The free drinks in the lobby were also great for relaxing while enjoying the view. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we could still gaze at the stars at night, and by morning we had a beautiful view of Mt. Ontake as well. It was a lovely place that I would definitely like to visit again.

This was our second stay, following last year! The inn has a charming traditional Japanese house atmosphere, and it was kept very clean, so we could truly relax. We borrowed the inn’s bicycles to shop for ingredients, and the staff prepared charcoal for us—having a meal while grilling various foods over the irori hearth was amazing. The sea is right in front of the inn with a great view, and there are various shops nearby as well, making it a very convenient location. Next year, we’d love to stay again and try a different style of room!

We stayed as a couple. As always with Dormy Inn, we enjoyed the after-bath ice cream and late-night soba, and breakfast was excellent as well. There was an eel rice bowl option, and you could even pour dashi over it to make hitsumabushi-style eel rice. I also thought it was a great idea that each side dish could be taken in small individual bowls. There was bread too, but the only egg dish available was fried eggs, which was a little disappointing for me since I prefer scrambled eggs. Still, it was a very satisfying breakfast overall, and we would like to stay again.

This was my second stay. Last time, due to an unexpected matter, I couldn’t have breakfast, so this time I stayed until just before checkout. Even though it was a weekday, the Accommodation was almost fully booked. However, I was able to use the private bath with hardly any waiting. The in-room bath also had a green sulfur hot spring with mineral deposits floating in it. At first the bathwater was very hot, but you adjusted the flow of the water for me, and after that I could enjoy it comfortably. Thank you very much. I would love to visit again.

The Facility is new and has a luxurious feel. It’s also close to Masu, and I’d love to stay again.

I stayed here while visiting Izumo Taisha Shrine. The room and other areas were clean and well maintained, so I was able to relax comfortably. Breakfast was delicious and great value, and I was even able to enjoy coffee after the meal—very satisfying! I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Shimane Prefecture. We were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. We have stayed at various Ryokan and Hotels considered fairly upscale, but here we especially felt every staff member’s genuine care and dedication to ensuring guests are happy—it was a wonderful experience. My wife also said she would like to come again.

We stayed here to coincide with my husband’s refresh leave for his 5-year work anniversary. Because it’s in a quiet location and has only a small number of rooms, it was the perfect place for us as a dual-income couple to escape our busy daily routine and enjoy truly luxurious time together. The in-room bath was very spacious, and we could relax comfortably as a couple. Above all, the hot spring water felt wonderful and left our skin silky smooth. Since it’s a semi-open-air bath, we found it especially comfortable. At many other inns, private open-air baths or in-room open-air baths often have the washing area outside as well, but here you can simply open the window to make it semi-open-air—so we didn’t end up shivering while washing. During our one-night stay, we used the bath five times; even at checkout, we wished we could soak one more time and were sad to leave. The washbasin area was also spacious, so we could both get ready slowly in the morning. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious: sashimi with carefully crafted sauces, many bite-sized seasonal dishes served in a basket arrangement, and seasonal chestnut rice cooked on the spot. Breakfast was also very filling—the grilled fish and tofu were especially good. Yukata were provided as loungewear, but since I tend to get a cold stomach easily, I thought it would be nice if there were pants-style options like samue. Also, since this trip fell during our wedding anniversary month, I felt an anniversary plan would be appreciated. It wouldn’t need to be elaborate—something simple like an celebratory message on a dessert plate or taking a photo and gifting it in a small frame would make for a lovely keepsake. All of the staff were courteous and warm-hearted in their hospitality, which made this trip extremely satisfying.

My first time back in Kinosaki Onsen in decades. I wasn’t sure which Accommodation to choose, but “Away from the hustle and bustle” was the deciding factor. Just as the Reviews said, the food was unquestionably delicious, and the tableware and presentation were wonderful. What impressed me most was the attendant who looked after us for both days without change. She always greeted us with a smile, our conversations flowed easily, and she made us feel at home. She also answered our questions about the onsen town accurately, so we could enjoy visiting the public baths with peace of mind. Because we had to leave early for our own reasons, they prepared breakfast outside regular hours, and even drove us to the bus stop in front of Kinosaki Onsen Station. With everyone’s help at this Ryokan, we were able to start our journey home safely. I can’t thank them enough—thank you very much. Her wonderful smile is my best memory from this trip. I would love to stay again.

I was a bit nervous because I’d heard it was old, but the bathroom and other water facilities seemed to have been renovated, and everything was clean, which was great. I recommend booking with breakfast! We were tired one night and ended up having dinner at the same restaurant, and the Okinawan-focused dishes were all delicious. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We thought a first-floor room might be interesting, but since we weren’t going into the ocean, we were bothered by people passing by and couldn’t open the curtains—so I think a room on the second floor or higher would have been better. It’s close to the beach, and we could even see fireworks from our room.

The amenities were minimal, but I was able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The bed was comfortable, and before I knew it, it was morning. Noise wasn’t an issue at all, and I slept very soundly. I also liked that you can choose a pillow firmness to suit your preference. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but there’s an underground passageway, and I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

When we arrived and started taking photos, a staff member quickly came outside and offered to take pictures for us. We enjoyed the baths many times, and the meals were delicious. And then there was the evening lobby concert. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. We made great memories—thank you very much.

I use this Hotel for business trips. I’m happy that the Room is spacious. If there’s availability, I almost always choose this Hotel. As an IKYU Diamond member, I also appreciate the 12:00 checkout time. I can also receive drinks such as canned beer, which makes me want to keep my Diamond status. From Tokyo Station, I take a bus—it’s just a short walk from the “Kameshimabashi” stop.

It was close to the station and the building was beautiful. The bath water was also very good. I was grateful to be able to use the bath on the floor near the bath. The location of the outlet next to the bed was hard to find, so it would be helpful if there was a mark somewhere. Day use was good, but I also wanted to stay overnight.

The front desk staff came from various countries, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and was incredibly kind. The property was clean, and the Room was spacious. I would like to stay here again.

This was not just a clean Accommodation, but a place that felt like a “second home,” filled with warmth and thoughtfulness. In every corner of the Room, we could feel the host’s care and affection, and throughout our stay we felt comfortable and genuinely welcomed. The meals were also truly outstanding. Each dish was prepared with great care and sincerity—delicious, and an unforgettable taste. We had a truly wonderful time and are sincerely grateful. We would love to visit again.

The meals were delicious, and the Onsen was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The service was polite and excellent. The location is also great, with a roadside station nearby (with an open plaza and rental play equipment such as balls) as well as a nearby stone circle heritage site. If the weather is good, families with children can enjoy a full day out.

I stayed here with my beloved cat. They upgraded our Room, and we were able to spend our time in a spacious, spotless Room. They also provided a litter box, scratching post, bowls, and even Churu for my cat, so my little one could relax—making it a truly luxurious day. We’ll definitely visit again with my cat! We visited as a couple to see Amanohashidate. The location was right in front of it—perfect. Check-in was at 2:00 PM. We arrived early, but they kindly guided us to the parking lot, which was very helpful. Even after check-out, we were allowed to use the parking lot until 11:00 AM, so we could enjoy sightseeing. The Accommodation looked a bit old from the outside, but inside it was clean and very well kept. The meals seemed to focus on locally sourced ingredients and were delicious. We finished everything at both dinner and breakfast. There were both an indoor bath and an open-air bath. They weren’t large, but I could relax on my own. With so many tourists around, I think being able to sightsee efficiently was thanks to this Accommodation. It turned into a wonderful trip.
