Richmond Hotel has rarely disappointed me in the past, and this stay in Nagoya reminded me why. The rates are not cheap, but the rooms are thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, and the calm interior decor left a great impression. The bed quality in particular was excellent, offering a level of comfort that feels a step above a typical Business Hotel. I was also looking forward to breakfast at Royal Host. The omelet and pancakes were smaller than expected, but both are cooked to order, which made it more satisfying than a standard buffet. I was especially impressed by a young female staff member with glasses on the floor who smoothly assisted an international guest in English without a Reservation. It was only a brief exchange, but it clearly reflected the high service standards of the Hotel overall. From the room and breakfast to the staff service, I was satisfied with almost everything. Even if it costs a bit more, this is an Accommodation where you can truly feel what you’re paying for.

With an entryway, there is space to take off your shoes, which is recommended for guests with babies. You can feel at ease letting your child crawl around or spread things out. The elevator is also fast, so moving between floors (such as to the hot spring on the top floor) didn’t feel like a hassle. I would like to stay here again next time I visit Naha.

The Room ambiance, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—everything was absolutely satisfying. In particular, the dinner tableware and presentation felt wonderfully special and made us feel truly pampered. We also booked an aroma massage, and we were very pleased with the therapist’s professional service (playing soothing music in our Room and carefully explaining each oil’s benefits).

The location near Nara Station was very convenient. The Room was spacious and clean. The late-night soba was delicious. As for the Onsen, it would have been perfect if the changing area were a bit larger. I really liked being able to take off my shoes at the entrance, step onto the tatami, and go straight to my Room. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I would like to stay here again when visiting Nara.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. Yuzawa Grand Hotel was an outstanding hotel in every way. Our family usually doesn’t eat large portions, so kaiseki meals at ryokan can sometimes feel like too much, but this time everything was so delicious that we ended up eating more than usual. We thought buffet meals were pretty much the same everywhere, but this hotel offered many items you don’t often see elsewhere—such as grilled seafood (hamayaki), dobin-mushi, and a chocolate fountain—so dining was truly enjoyable. Of course, everything we tried tasted great. To the head chef, thank you for the wonderful meal. The baths were also excellent, and the open-air bath had a lovely atmosphere where we could relax at ease. We would definitely love to stay again.

Although we stayed for only one night, it was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful services exactly where we hoped they would be. We could feel the attention to detail everywhere—an all-inclusive in-Room minibar, three kinds of cold drinks prepared at the large public bath, an impressive umeshu collection with 100 varieties (a paradise for umeshu lovers like us), and grilled fish for the Japanese breakfast that you can choose from three options. All of the staff were very cheerful and the overall service quality was excellent. In particular, we were truly moved by the attentive hospitality of the foreign male staff member who took care of us at dinner. We were also surprised by how fluent his Japanese was. Dinner was delicious as well, and we appreciated the focus on local ingredients. The Senju hot pot made with Masuda beef was wonderfully tender and rich. From check-in to check-out, we spent a genuinely relaxing time—simply gazing at the view from our Room in the rain and enjoying forest bathing in a private setting. It was an ideal vacation that helped us forget everyday life and feel refreshed both physically and mentally. If I may mention one thing, incense, fragrant olive flower arrangements, and stick diffusers were placed throughout the building. Even though we came to enjoy such clean air in this area, the scent felt a bit too strong. While you promote sustainability as an Accommodation, it felt somewhat contradictory—and disappointing—that even items like shampoo, body soap, and towels are fragranced. Some guests may enjoy fragrance, but others are sensitive to it as well; I would appreciate it if you could take this into consideration going forward. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

As we did last year, we stayed again this year for our cousins’ trip. Unfortunately, the weather was bad last year, but this year it was sunny, so we decided to definitely use Choraku’s pool. At check-in, we enjoyed delicious tea and sweets in the lounge, then rested a bit in our Room before heading to Choraku. We went into the pool (there were lots of children, but we still enjoyed it), and then used Choraku’s open-air bath. After returning, it was time for dinner. The meal was delicious again this time. The main dish at dinner was venison, which had no gamey smell and tasted great. There were also various drinks that paired well with the food, and this time we ordered the wine pairing. The price was very reasonable. After dinner we took a short break, then went back to Choraku to enjoy a mini concert. After returning, we had a nightcap in the lounge, took another bath, and went to bed. In the morning we woke up slowly, took another bath, and then had breakfast. This time we could choose between Japanese-style or Western-style breakfast; since the bread served here is incredibly good, we chose Western-style and asked for all types of bread so the three of us could share a little of each. We had tea in the lounge again, returned to our Room to pack up our belongings—and then it was already time to check out. The staff were pleasant, the Room was clean and comfortable—an easy Hotel to relax in—and since you can also enjoy Choraku’s Facilities and events as well, there’s plenty to do. We had another wonderful stay this time too. We’re planning our cousins’ trip here again next year as well—thank you in advance.

Our family of three stayed here. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service, so we felt completely at ease. The Room was a spacious Junior Suite with excellent amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable—our best Hotel stay ever. For dinner, we enjoyed a Japanese course meal. Early the next morning, we were also able to see a sea of clouds, making it an unforgettable experience. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

I stayed at Dormy Inn Aomori on a solo trip. I often use a Business Hotel when traveling alone, but this Hotel was far too wonderful to be called just a Business Hotel. First, the breakfast: a buffet with many local dishes—I ended up eating more than I should in the morning. Next, the baths: the water was very pleasant, and there is also an open-air bath and a sauna. I was disappointed to see a foreign parent and child soaking and throwing towels in the tub, but aside from that I could relax at ease. It was also fun to enjoy the complimentary ice cream while looking at the night view after bathing, and the late-night soba service was great as well. With smaller noodles and a light broth, even an elderly woman like me could enjoy it. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Aomori Station. The route is straight so it’s easy not to get lost, and it was convenient that there is an airport bus stop right in front of the Hotel. The male front desk staff were also very kind. Overall I was extremely satisfied except for a faint smell of cigarette smoke in my Room. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We were completely satisfied with both the facilities and the meals! On top of the mountain, we noticed a smoky aroma—it turned out to be a campfire. We toasted marshmallows, and inside there was complimentary champagne service. The French cuisine was delicious, and we really enjoyed the wine. We were especially impressed by how tender the main beef dish was. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. One small thing: it would be nice to have power outlets near the bed, and I also wished the mirror area were a bit brighter for easier use. Overall, we were very satisfied and would love to stay again.

This was a Hotel I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it was exactly as I’d hoped—the open-air barrel bath on the top floor and the terrace at night were amazing. I arrived late for breakfast and was told once that the scrambled eggs were sold out, but they quickly made more and brought them to me. Parking was also free for 24 hours per night, making it a great Hotel I’d truly like to stay at again. The only disappointment was that there was some dust left under the window when I opened the blinds. Still, all of the staff were kind, which made my stay even better.

The distance from the station, the Hotel Facility, and the Room—everything was satisfying. Breakfast also offered a wide variety and was excellent. I was truly impressed for the first time in a while.

Everything was excellent. The hostess’s hospitality was especially wonderful. The staff also kindly introduced us to local spots and were very helpful, so we were able to fully enjoy Nagano. The Onsen was very relaxing, and the meals were truly delicate, beautifully presented, and delicious throughout. There was no excessive service like at a luxury Ryokan, which made it very comfortable. We would love to stay again when we visit Matsumoto.

I stayed here on a business trip, and both the facilities and the staff deserve top marks. The room was clean, and the desk was large and easy to work at. Luggage storage before check-in, as well as check-in and check-out, were smooth, and the front desk staff were kind. Since I was staying multiple nights, I only wanted my towels replaced; when I spoke to the housekeeping staff, they handled it politely. They also greeted me cheerfully when we passed in the hallway the next morning—the service was excellent. The large public bath was spacious with plenty of hot water, very well maintained, and truly relaxing. It was a great place to recover from a business trip.

I stayed for one night starting August 14. Every year around this time, I return from Saitama Prefecture to visit family graves, but since my family home was lost in the earthquake, I stay at a Hotel instead. In previous years, I stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ichibancho every year, but because the parking lot was always off-site, I learned about Sendai West Exit Premier near the station and stayed here for the first time. Since it’s close to the station, I was worried about parking availability, but I was glad I could park even before check-in time. I’ve stayed at several Daiwa Roynet Hotels, and their bathrooms are my favorite. If I had made my Reservation earlier, a slightly larger Room might have been available, but it was quieter than expected despite being near the station. The location is very convenient, so I would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for a comfortable stay the other day. The Room was very clean, and the staff were courteous and attentive. I was extremely satisfied and would love to stay again. There is just one point I noticed. The TV in the guest Room seems to have a maximum volume limit set at 25, which was perfectly fine for regular TV broadcasts. However, when playing streaming services such as Netflix, the audio is relatively quiet to begin with, so even at the maximum of 25 it did not become loud enough, and I found it difficult to hear clearly. I understand that setting a volume limit is likely out of consideration for other Rooms, so I think it is generally fine as it is. That said, if a guest requests to watch streaming content, allowing the volume limit to be raised slightly only during that stay (if possible) might make things more comfortable for many guests. This is just one suggestion, but I would appreciate your consideration. Although there was one small concern regarding the Facility equipment, overall it was still a very satisfying stay. This was my second stay. The moment I stepped through the entrance, it felt like a different world. The meals were delicious, the staff’s hospitality and manners were excellent, and our Room was upgraded—everything was taken care of. I would love to stay again. I’m also looking forward to trying the open-air bath next time. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.

This was my second stay. I really appreciate that bath amenities include bath salts. The Room TV has been upgraded to a smart TV, so it was great being able to watch Netflix and YouTube. I stayed on the 3rd floor and couldn’t hear any outside noise. I thought the breakfast was better than last time. There were also some dishes I hadn’t seen before (I can’t remember the name, but something like fish tempura mixed with a sauce?), and it was delicious! All-you-can-eat Blue Seal ice cream is also a big plus. (You scoop it yourself with a disher.) There were three flavors, and I went back for seconds twice. Next time I stay, I’ll definitely book breakfast again.

Although we had to stay unexpectedly due to the rain, we were able to spend our time comfortably. Having a microwave in the Room was very helpful. There was also a charger in the Room, and we were satisfied with the complimentary breakfast, as all of the staff were very pleasant. There was also a coffee machine—everything was well provided for.

Within a modern, sophisticated design, there are countless subtle messages that those in the know will recognize, making it fun to explore like solving a mystery. What stands out most is the cuisine. Every detail feels intentional—why these ingredients, prepared this way, finished with these flavors, plated on this dishware, and served in this order—and you can truly sense a clear concept throughout. More than simply enjoying delicious food, I felt I was experiencing an extraordinary world, and it moved me deeply. The selection of books is also excellent. In addition to many Ryoma-related titles, there were plenty of thoughtfully chosen staff recommendations that were especially rewarding to read, enjoyed alongside complimentary delicious drinks. This was my first time staying at an accommodation that offers books by Professor Shizuka Shirakawa.
