This was my first stay here, and it felt far more fulfilling than you’d expect from just one night and two days. From the warm welcome on arrival, everything was handled with great care. The staff’s hospitality left a lasting impression, and throughout my stay they were attentive to even the smallest details. From start to finish—including the send-off at departure—I felt genuinely well looked after. Rather than feeling formal or scripted, it truly felt like each guest was treated as an individual. The Room had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and best of all was the private open-air bath attached to the Room. Being able to soak in an Onsen at my own pace whenever I wanted was a special luxury, and it felt so good I wanted to go in again and again. Enjoying the open-air bath while taking in the garden and surrounding nature helped me forget everyday fatigue. The meals were also carefully prepared dish by dish—delicious not only in flavor, but also in presentation and seasonal touches. I enjoyed them so much that mealtime itself became one of the highlights of the trip. The overall atmosphere of the Ryokan is wonderful as well—quiet, serene, and naturally calming just by being there. Everything is beautifully maintained down to the smallest details, making it an ideal space for a true escape from daily life. Even though it was a short stay of one night and two days, by checkout I was surprised at how much lighter I felt both physically and mentally—I was able to fully recharge. This is a Ryokan that honestly makes you think, “I want to stay here again.” If you’re looking for Accommodation in Hakone, I highly recommend staying here at least once.

This was a highly satisfying Hotel stay from check-in to check-out. What surprised me most was the wide variety of drinks and ice cream available in the complimentary area. Guests can enjoy unlimited drinks, from alcohol to soft drinks, and I also loved making my own ice cream—it was a lot of fun. The staff kindly guided me through the Room and breakfast information at check-in, and they responded quickly to an unexpected situation during my stay. Breakfast arrived at my Room right on time and was wonderfully warm and delicious. I truly feel this was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room and discover something new! Thank you very much!

Our family of three (two adults and one older elementary school child) stayed here. The Facility was exceptionally well maintained throughout—spotlessly clean and beautiful everywhere. It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed. ◯ Highlights Beautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent! User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun. A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience. ◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars) The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful. Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

Stayed for work in August 2026 for four nights. The Room was a bit small, but it felt more spacious than the one in Hamamatsucho—I even wished I had stayed here the whole time instead of moving to Hamamatsucho. I was very satisfied with both the complimentary drinks and alcohol service. With restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and located in a residential area, it was very convenient. I would consider staying again on my next business trip.

This was my first stay at Route Inn Hotel. The Room and Facility were clean, and it even had a large public bath, which I wasn’t expecting. Breakfast was also included and delicious, so I was very satisfied with my stay. I’d be happy to use it again on future trips!

It was very comfortable. The front desk and restaurant staff were cheerful, courteous, and efficient, and the Room and restaurant were clean with excellent air conditioning—an outstanding Hotel in every way. The next morning’s breakfast buffet menu was posted in the lobby, which made me look forward to it from the night before. The signature jingisukan (grilled lamb), curry, and fried fish cake with corn were all delicious. If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely stay here again.

The meals were exceptionally delicious and luxurious. Choosing this option was absolutely the right decision! The room was clean, and a Dyson humidifier was provided, so I stayed very comfortably. The amenities were well stocked, and I was happy they had Sekkisei. There were many kinds of bath salts, and it was fun choosing one. All the towels—even the hand towels served with meals—were Imabari towels. At the vending machines on the 4th floor, you could buy beer, chu-hai, and highballs in addition to soft drinks. When I visit again, I’d love to stay here again—it’s an Accommodation I’d also recommend to others.

We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to Kyushu, and it was our first visit. The front lobby was very spacious, and the design—almost like a surrounding corridor—felt truly luxurious. With its seaside location, we could see the ocean from our Room, and there were many children enjoying the on-site pool. As an IKYU Diamond member benefit, we received access cards to the club floor and ended up using it twice. The club floor was also an exceptionally refined space with outstanding views, offering both table seating and sofa areas. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks was generously provided, so you could easily spend the whole day there enjoying drinks. There were also many well-seasoned, elegant guests who seemed like regulars, and even as a couple who rarely visits club floors, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The large public bath had wonderfully soothing saline water that completely relieved our travel fatigue. Next time, we’d love to stay longer for a more relaxing getaway. This was our third visit as a couple. Every time, we’re reminded that this is one of our favorite places in Nasu. The Room is spacious, and the sweeping greenery of the Nasu Highlands right in front of you feels wonderful. We chose the buffet for dinner. There are so many options it’s hard to decide—but everything is truly delicious. Chinese, Japanese, sushi, curry—whatever you choose tastes great. Staff promptly clear finished plates, so you can move on comfortably. The baths are spacious. The sauna and open-air bath are excellent—nothing to complain about. The water temperature is just right. The changing area has slightly older lockers, but it’s very well cleaned. The bakery inside offers high-quality bread. The souvenir shop is well stocked. You can also get massages in three locations, and every therapist is highly skilled. Check-in (there can be a wait at 15:00, but the staff are efficient and pleasant) and parking guidance at the entrance are spot-on (easy to unload luggage smoothly; same on departure). Overall, it’s a Hotel where you can enjoy an incredibly comfortable stay with virtually nothing to fault. It always makes us want to choose this place again next time.

I stayed one night at Hotel New Otani for the first time in a while, and once again I was impressed by their outstanding hospitality. From the doorman and bell staff to the dining attendants, everyone was truly professional. There was none of that “new staff” or “part-time” feel you sometimes find at other hotels—every team member delivered refined, high-end service, and I was very satisfied. Breakfast was also relaxed and elegant. Especially during the buffet, I admired how professionally the service staff managed the floor. Everything was truly delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

We stay here every year when visiting family graves. It is directly connected to the station, and the Shinkansen exit is close, which is very convenient. Since it has a train view, it’s perfect for children and train lovers. Even if you forget to buy something, there are plenty of shops so you won’t have any trouble. The Room is compact but clean.

Once again, we enjoyed a wonderful trip as a parent and child. The staff were kind and helpful, the meals were delicious, and the Room was clean as always, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

After watching your YouTube video, we thought it looked wonderful and made a Reservation. Even though it was the peak summer holiday season, we were incredibly lucky to secure a Room. As expected, there were many families and large groups, but thanks to the staff’s quick and well-organized coordination, there were no bottlenecks and my spouse and I truly enjoyed our stay. The baths were amazing, with so many excellent tubs to choose from. I especially soaked often in hopes of easing my chronic lower back pain and nerve pain. Shimobe Onsen has helped improve the numbness in my right hand and nerve pain in the past, so I feel deeply grateful for it. We would definitely like to come again for therapeutic bathing. Next time, we would love to stay in a suite Room with a private open-air Onsen bath.

This was my first stay. Since the price was reasonable, I didn’t expect much, but the Room and bed were spacious and I was able to relax. The breakfast was also very delicious. They kindly stored my luggage after checkout, which was a big help. The Hotel staff were very pleasant, making it an enjoyable trip. When I stay in Hakata again, I would love to use this Accommodation again.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was clean, and since it was on the ladies-only floor, the DHC amenities were excellent! It’s a shame the ladies-only floor will be discontinued, but disposable items are available at the front desk. If you could also offer hair irons for loan, that would be great. Whenever I stay at a Business Hotel, I always wish there were anti-bedhead hair styling water available (even as a loan item).

I suddenly got some time off and decided on a trip to Kyoto. Since I made the Reservation the day before, it was almost fully booked and I couldn’t choose the Room type, but the price was reasonable so I went ahead and booked it. The building was very clean, and I was happy that the bath was an Onsen! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I was completely satisfied. In addition to the welcome drink, there were lots of free services to enjoy, which made it feel like a great deal… All of the staff were friendly, so I had a very comfortable stay. It was a last-minute trip, but I’m truly glad I stayed here. Super, super satisfied!!! One more thing: the aroma scent used inside the property smelled wonderful and helped me relax even more. Thank you very much.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the Chikubu Island cruise boarding point, and both the Italian dinner and the Japanese-Western breakfast buffet were delicious. Above all, the hospitality of all the staff was very pleasant. I was able to relax and take it easy throughout my stay. Thank you very much.

Whenever I travel to Kobe on business, I always stay here. As a small suggestion to make the stay even more comfortable, I noticed a little dust in the elevator and near the bottom of the guest room door, so I would appreciate it if you could check these areas during cleaning. I am very satisfied with the staff’s polite service and responses, as well as the large public bath. I always enjoy a pleasant stay here. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip to Kobe. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for your hospitality. It rained that day, but on a clear day you can see Mt. Fuji straight ahead from the lobby. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning; the homemade yogurt and dressings were made with quality ingredients and were delicious. It was a continental breakfast, but we left feeling very full. The bath was clean, and we could see the night view of Gotemba from the open-air bath. On a clear day, you can also see Mt. Fuji straight ahead. The staff were polite and welcoming with warm smiles. This time, we requested a Room on the Mt. Fuji side and stayed on the second floor. Because it was labeled “Mt. Fuji side,” we assumed we would be able to see Mt. Fuji from the window, but in reality we could only see forest. In that case, I feel there was no need to make a Reservation for the more expensive Mt. Fuji-side Room. In any event, it was a very nice Hotel overall. Thank you very much.

This was our first family trip to Shimoda, and everyone agreed the Hotel was beyond reproach—we liked it so much that we returned earlier than we usually do on trips. We were also traveling with my grandmother, who has difficulty walking, but the staff provided a bath chair and thoughtfully arranged seating during meals, so we were able to stay in complete comfort. Many of the staff members were from overseas, but everyone greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service, making our stay truly satisfying.
