We chose to spend my husband’s birthday relaxing at an Onsen Accommodation and stayed at Satsuki. All the staff were kind, and the interior was lovely, with a wonderful blend of renovated areas and original features. The Onsen truly felt like a moisturizing lotion and was incredibly soothing. The meals were outstanding, thoughtfully incorporating local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied. We also appreciated being able to enjoy plenty of my husband’s favorite beer. They even prepared a birthday-style dessert for him. Breakfast was excellent as well. We would love to visit again with our children. Thank you very much!

It was the Room at the back on the second floor, but there was a constant knocking sound. It wasn’t coming from outside.

This time, I visited Kashiwazaki Station again for the first time in 42 years for a class reunion. After the banquet, I came back, took a shower, and was able to sleep comfortably. The Room also had a calm atmosphere. It was great.

The air conditioner's remote control was a bit difficult to use, possibly due to low battery capacity, and the bathtub drainage was not very smooth. However, I don't consider these as major issues during my stay. I could relax in a quiet and clean room at an affordable price. I would like to use this accommodation again in the future.

The Room was very clean and stylish. Since there were only stairs, carrying a suitcase was difficult. Overall, it was good.

It feels more like a studio-style private rental than a Hotel. It was very comfortable for me, and I would like to stay again. Keys are collected via a key box, and returned by dropping them into the mailbox. The location is just seconds from the bar district, but there was no nighttime noise. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there is also a separate sink area. There is an electric cooktop, cooking utensils, a rice cooker, tableware, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. The amenities and towels were more than sufficient for me. The Room is clean as well. There are two single beds. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk away. Overall, it was comfortable with nothing to complain about. Thank you again.

I was concerned after reading some reviews about hygiene, but the room was very clean. The microwave provided was also convenient. I stayed here for a musical at Electro Hall, and it was very convenient to return to the hotel within a few minutes' walk even after the late-night performance. However, the next day I planned to watch a daytime performance before heading home and wanted to leave my luggage at the hotel until then, but they did not allow it. Despite choosing a nearby hotel for convenience, I had to take my luggage back to a coin locker at the station. In all my travels so far, this is the first hotel that didn’t allow me to store my luggage. That was quite disappointing. I don’t think I will stay here again.

Livemax provides reliable services, making it a comfortable and worry-free stay. This time, my main purpose was to visit the Autumn Fest held at Odori Park, and the location was perfect for that. It’s a bit of a walk from Susukino or Tanukikoji, but during this season, it’s not much of an issue. In winter, however, it might require some preparation. A convenience store is also nearby. The room was clean with a spacious and comfortable bed. The room size is slightly compact, so you may need to open your suitcase on the bed. Although I didn’t use it, having a microwave in the room seemed convenient (it seems Livemax hotels generally have this feature as I noticed the same in Yokohama). The deciding factor for me was the large public bath; apparently sourced from Onsen water and very relaxing. The changing area felt slightly cramped though. As for meals—this was unexpected—but they provide an onigiri bento box in the morning. While breakfast buffets at other hotels are nice too, I found this option ideal as it’s just enough in portion size, can be enjoyed in your room at your own pace—a great idea!

For a Room of this grade with an open-air bath and two meals included at this price, I personally have no complaints. If I had to mention one drawback, I could hear conversations from the neighboring Room quite clearly.

I stayed for two nights this time. I have used this Hotel several times, but the small size of the bath always bothers me. While washing my body, I keep bumping into the walls! Also, as mentioned in the title, facilities like the washbasin and toilet give a slightly "old" impression. On the other hand, staff service, location, bed comfort, and cleanliness around the lobby are excellent. Overall, I think it’s a good Hotel. The high price is understandable as it's a general issue in Tokyo... though it’s quite tough to bear. I think I will use it again in the future.

As other Reviews mention, it is true that the property is a bit old. However, in an area where many places charge foreigner prices, the value for money here is excellent and I have no complaints. The variety of dishes may not be ultra-luxury cuisine, but it was more than sufficient and everything was very delicious. The foreign staff who assisted us were also very pleasant, and I wanted to support them. I believe this Facility still has plenty of life left in it, and I look forward to its continued growth and success.

I didn’t have very high expectations until we actually stayed, but we were extremely satisfied traveling with our toddler (1 year and 2 months old). All the necessary baby items were provided, and they even supplied diapers as a complimentary service. Safety guards were properly placed on table corners and other areas, and even things like remote controls were individually sealed in antibacterial film—thoughtful details that made us feel at ease. At first I wondered if the Room might be a bit small, but there was no wasted space. The futon area (raised platform), living space, and the outdoor open-air bath flowed seamlessly together. Because you can see into the Room while bathing, I could relax in the bath while keeping an eye on my sleeping child. The highlight of any trip is the food, and both dinner and breakfast were served in-room. Everything was delicious. Unlike many Ryokan breakfasts that are unnecessarily large and end up getting cold, ours was served warm with delicate flavors—we were truly satisfied. They also prepared child-friendly options such as softly cooked rice and a lightly seasoned clear soup. The meals were not only delicious but also safe for our child, so both parent and child could enjoy them. Our daughter doesn’t eat packaged toddler meals, but we could simply rinse pieces of grilled fish or simmered dishes from the adult meal in hot water before giving them to her—so we really appreciated being able to travel almost empty-handed. We would definitely stay again. I suspect most guests will return too, so it may become harder to get a Reservation. Highly recommended.

Located across from Mega Don Quijote, the upper floors of the multi-purpose commercial facility "Dogenzaka-dori" house the Hotel. Follow the pathway inside and you'll find a sign for the Hotel. The room is compact but cleverly designed, offering enough space to open suitcases comfortably. There’s a niche by the entrance that perfectly fits two suitcases, making your stay efficient and spacious. From reception to elevators and room interiors, artistic decor creates a stylish atmosphere. The reception staff were kind and accommodating with luggage storage requests. The room features twin beds, a table set for two, a large-screen TV, an air purifier, soft waffle-textured pajamas and bathrobes, as well as ample amenities like cleansing products and lotion. The bathroom includes a spacious bathtub combined with a shower area—conveniently designed like your own home bathroom—perfect for relaxation. Additional thoughtful services include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speakers, steamers, etc., ensuring comfort during your stay. Both toilet and sink areas are roomy—it’s hard to believe it’s only 25 square meters! Truly comfortable. With cafes, restaurants, and bars available within the Facility itself—you might wish you had more time to enjoy everything! Breakfast can be enjoyed at the restaurant buffet or through in-room dining for leisurely mornings; an American breakfast was around 2,500 yen. Even coffee cups are beautifully designed—with Hachiko illustrations on saucers adding charm. Fresh bread rolls along with salads and fruits were delicious! Conveniently located along Bunkamura Street near cafes/restaurants/convenience stores; elevator access requires key cards while peephole covers on doors ensure safety. Compact yet incredibly comfortable—a convenient Hotel perfect for any traveler!

We visited with our 4-year-old and 0-year-old children. The baby stayed in a living room baby playpen (brought from home), while the 4-year-old had a blast in the pool all day. From the terrace chairs, we could see both children, making it a relaxing and well-thought-out design! The standard amenities were plentiful and comfortable, but there were also many child-friendly items, which was very helpful. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of our visit. However, unexpectedly, one-third of the pool had an adjustable roof that allowed us to enjoy it even in the rain! (→ This feature is so convenient that you should promote it more on your website!) If I may suggest one improvement: having foldable tarps or parasols available for rent (even for a fee) would allow for more covered areas over the pool and make visits less weather-dependent. Overall, this accommodation is highly recommended for families with children!

I chose an accommodation where we could relax in a private space for a gathering with old friends. The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, allowing us to enjoy making and sharing sukiyaki together. Outside the window, there was a beautiful snowy landscape, and the time spent enjoying warm meals was truly wonderful. At night, the clear air revealed a breathtaking starry sky when we stepped outside. Spending time with old friends in peaceful nature offered a special experience that is hard to find in the city. The room was spacious and very comfortable, making it perfect for a multiple night stay to fully unwind. SANU seems to have multiple locations, so I would love to visit again!

The Room is clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning needs improvement. When the air conditioner is turned on, it blows very cold air and feels chilly. Even when the temperature setting is increased, the air remains cold.
