Although our arrival was slightly later than planned, we received a call and experienced excellent service at this wonderful Ryokan.

We used this place for a summer getaway and a workcation. Miyota is less crowded than Karuizawa, with Tsuruya nearby and the station within walking distance, which was very convenient. It’s an ordinary local town with few tourist attractions around, so it doesn’t really feel like a resort. The property is spacious, well equipped with amenities, and suitable for self-catering. It was much cooler than Tokyo, and we were able to spend our time quietly. Since it’s a regular house along a main road, it’s best not to expect the atmosphere of a lodge or villa surrounded by nature.

Our whole family stayed here, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warm welcome was wonderful, and our daughters were in great spirits the entire time. Because it’s a registered tangible cultural property, the building has a deep sense of character. Yet with its modern interior, it didn’t feel intimidating at all—we could relax as if we were at home. The beautifully maintained garden was also ours to enjoy since there were no other guests during our stay, and the kids had a great time. I found myself wishing there were more Accommodations like this—Japan’s travel culture would be even richer. While we did feel welcomed by the town as a whole, it was a bit quiet, which was a shame. It’s such a great location that I hope it becomes more lively. We will definitely return again—thank you for everything, and we look forward to staying with you in the future.

It was a wonderful building and a clean Room. We could feel the thoughtful attention in everything, including the kitchenware and bathroom amenities. The view was amazing, and the sunset was beautiful. We were slightly bothered at times by people fishing passing in front of the house, but otherwise it was perfect. We would like to stay again.

This was my second stay. This time I was able to check in during the free snack hours, so I had a “chocolate chunk cookie.” It was delicious with the complimentary coffee. I had made a Reservation for a single, but since there were vacancies, they upgraded me for free. The Room felt slightly small, but it’s more than enough for business use. I also liked that the loungewear and hair dryer were neatly placed together in a basket. Having a foldable mirror on the (small) desk in the Room was also very helpful. The bathroom is a typical size for a Business Hotel, but the shower head was ReFa, and the shower curtain rail curves outward, which makes it feel more spacious when showering. Also, since there are stoppers at both ends of the curtain rail, as long as you set the hooks (rings?) properly on both sides, you don’t have to worry about the curtain sliding open while using it. I used breakfast as well. At first glance it may seem like there aren’t many main items, but for breakfast it’s sufficient. The automatic pancake machine (I’ve never seen one anywhere else) is fun! The size is just right, and best of all you can enjoy freshly baked pancakes! The cherry sauce for the pancakes was tasty, and the other breads were good too. That said, I think it would be nice if there were knives with the cutlery. Overall, this is a Hotel with a very good impression. The staff (front desk and restaurant) were kind and helpful, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. I probably will.

I was very grateful that the breakfast start time was moved 30 minutes earlier. Thanks to that, I was able to complete the marathon! Thank you very much! The building is new, and the Room and amenities were clean and comfortable. The welcome drink included a variety of beverages, including alcohol, and unlimited ice cream, which was fantastic! The Room was not too small, and the bath was comfortable. The service was excellent, and they kindly listened to my inquiries. There was nothing bad, and it was a very good Hotel.

This is my fourth stay, and I had a very pleasant time. Thank you so much! The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful, including providing sightseeing information on rainy days, making my stay comfortable.

Although it is located near the department stores in Ginza, you can stay here for around 10,000 yen per night. I arrived without high expectations, and while the Room was a bit small, there was plenty of space in front of the door, a full-length mirror, and a deep bathtub. It was very clean and felt like great value. The staff also provided courteous explanations, and I was very satisfied. I will use it again.

The breakfast was delicious. I was able to relax in the natural Onsen. I was soothed by the LOVOT robot strolling around the front.

Close to the station, I was able to spend time leisurely.

This Facility offers the perfect trio of Onsen, delicious cuisine, and beautiful views. Shuttle Service from the station is available, and there are activities such as early-morning walks, making it ideal for solo travelers looking to relax and unwind. I keep coming back.

The Room felt a bit old, but it was sufficient for just sleeping during a touring trip. Above all, I met three front desk staff members, and their service was excellent. When I called in advance to inform them that we would be arriving with two motorcycles, they reserved a covered parking space for us. Upon arrival, even before getting off the bikes, they came out to the parking lot and promptly guided us to our parking spots. I forgot something at the property, but they called me immediately and sent it to my home the day after I returned. I would love to stay here again when visiting Nagano.

Even when we arrived early 10 years ago on a family trip, they kindly let us use the pool. This time we stayed as a couple, and just like 10 years ago, all the staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much to the Taiwanese attendant who took such good care of us.

Thank you for your warm, home-style hospitality—it made for a wonderful stay at the end of the season. For our children, the best memories of this trip were the pension’s Room and meals. Even while skiing, they were looking forward to dinner each night. We have big appetites, so we were very satisfied with the food. We also appreciated that bath towels were provided. When we visit Myoko again, we would love to stay here.

Thank you for your hospitality. This is an Accommodation I would love to stay at again. It is located right in front of Lake Shirakaba, and we really enjoyed a quiet early-morning walk by the lake. We came to see the daylilies, but there were plenty of other things to enjoy as well. The owner couple were warm and welcoming, which made us feel at ease. The dinner staff were also efficient and cheerful, making our time even more enjoyable.

I used this place after a long time. It is sufficient for business use. Mobile charging cables are provided, including Lightning for iPhone, Type-C for Sharp smartphones, and Micro USB for power banks. It's not a big issue, but the USB port on the bedside was damaged, so I couldn't charge my phone while using it in bed.

Because everything is kept clean, even the self-serve all-you-can-drink option feels comfortable.

Not only was the bath wonderful, but it was clear that each dish was carefully prepared. The seasoning was perfect, and everything was delicious. The service was also very friendly.

The toilet and wash area had been renovated, so there were no inconveniences. Amenities were more than sufficient. [Staff & Service] For someone like me who doesn’t want anything excessive, it was exactly what I needed. The warm send-off at check-out was a nice touch. [Onsen & Bath] Since there weren’t many guests, I was able to enjoy the large public bath almost privately, which was very satisfying. The private bath is not time-slot based—it's available whenever it's open. I used it for a morning bath; the semi-open-air setting felt great. [Meals] Although it was a light Plan (?), both the quantity and quality were plenty. Both dinner and breakfast included mountain vegetables, giving a real sense of Nagano’s local flavors. [Facility & Equipment] The traditional Japanese-style building has plenty of history and charm. As access to the second floor is by stairs only, I felt that older guests would be better off staying on the first floor. *I would definitely consider staying again.*
