Each meal came with a note from the head chef, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and beautifully presented—a real feast for the eyes as well. The late-night ramen was also excellent. There was a drink bar too, which we enjoyed before and after meals. Many of the staff were young, but everyone was kind and seemed well trained. Since we stayed multiple nights, we declined housekeeping, but we would have liked the towels to be replaced without having to ask. We are repeat guests and would definitely like to visit again.

The check-in staff greeted me with a pleasant, genuine smile, and their service made it clear that the company’s hospitality training is excellent. The Room key is a type where you enter using a 6-digit PIN, so once you remember it, it’s convenient when going to the bath since you don’t need to carry anything except a towel, and it also feels secure from a safety standpoint. The Room was small for one person and was mostly taken up by the bed, so doing desk work would be a bit difficult, but if you’re just there to sleep, it was spacious enough. However, I have lower back pain and needed a firmer mattress; my back hurt slightly in the morning, so unfortunately it didn’t suit me. You can choose your preferred pillow next to reception, but I don’t usually use one so I didn’t take advantage of this. I love Onsen and used it three times during my one-night stay; by the second time I could feel benefits strong enough to moisturize my dry skin, so I was satisfied. I would have liked a few more hot dishes at the breakfast buffet. There were several kinds of bread available. The tomato dressing for the salad was delicious. There weren’t many side dishes overall, but considering it as breakfast, I also felt it was sufficient. Overall, with good service, cleanliness, an Onsen on site, and breakfast buffet included at this price range, I think this is a Hotel I can confidently recommend. One thing to note is that there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance from the Hotel for dinner, so you’ll likely want to drive somewhere or buy food in advance for peace of mind. Also, alcohol isn’t sold at the Hotel; if you plan to drink in your Room, I recommend purchasing drinks beforehand.

With a typhoon forecast to hit directly, we decided on the Sheraton right away. Thanks to that, we stayed dry and could respond based on the latest information, which gave us peace of mind. We were upgraded to a Room and had a very relaxing stay. Breakfast was all delicious with locally sourced ingredients—especially the freshly made rice balls, which were outstanding.

It was my first time staying here, and I was impressed by the convenient location near the station, the mostly covered pathways that kept me dry even in the rain, and the proximity to convenience stores and restaurants. Some points of concern: The bathroom had some red mold and dirt in places, which caught my attention. Additionally, the showerhead was difficult to fix in place, making it a bit inconvenient to use. Since the lobby is on the first floor instead of the second, the otherwise smooth pathway from the station is slightly disrupted. (That said, there is an elevator, so it’s not a major issue, but it might be challenging for those with a lot of luggage.) Positive points: The amenities were excellent. There were skincare products for both men and women, wash towels with the showerhead, and tea bags and coffee as beverages. The inclusion of chocolate-covered barley snacks was a fun and tasty touch. The elevator to the guest rooms required a card key to select a floor, which was great for security. The room itself was very comfortable, with a satisfying bed and a large TV that allowed access to YouTube and other features. They also provided luggage storage before and after my stay, and the front desk staff were all very polite and attentive. Since I had a Multiple Night Stay, I left my card key at the front desk before going out, and I was impressed by how quickly the staff handed me the card key upon my return, even before I mentioned my room number. Although there were some concerns with the bathroom, overall, I was very satisfied and would like to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

The Room was spacious and had a veranda-like deck called the Tsukimidai, with a nice view and the ocean visible in the distance. Meals were served in the Room, and every dish was delicious—we finished everything at both breakfast and dinner. However, it was disappointing that the drinks in the refrigerator were expensive. The Onsen also felt very open; while I did wonder if it might be visible from somewhere, I was still able to bathe comfortably. Another bath area was spacious, and the water in the roofed open-air bath left my skin feeling moisturized like lotion. Inside the building, it seems to have been expanded many times over the years, so some areas are a bit confusing, and many guests seemed to get lost. There were only a few souvenirs for sale, and there were no Facilities such as karaoke or table tennis, but it had an old-fashioned Ryokan atmosphere that we really enjoyed.

Not only is it conveniently located for accessing Dogo Onsen, but it is also in an excellent location for exploring the town. The staff were also very helpful, so I recommended it to a friend who was planning a trip to Dogo Onsen, and they immediately made a Reservation.

It’s close to Yodoyabashi Station, has a large public bath, and was affordable—I was very satisfied! I could use the large public bath almost by myself both morning and night, and the breakfast venue staff were kind; it was a great Hotel. In the morning, when I went to the large public bath in loungewear, I ended up sharing the same elevator with people heading to breakfast, which was a little embarrassing—but we weren’t acquaintances and we were all guests at the same Hotel, so it felt fine. If I can stay for that price on a Saturday, I’d love to stay again!

The infinity Onsen was wonderful. It was the perfect temperature, and my husband and I stayed in for two hours. Since Onsen are usually separated by gender, I’m usually alone wherever we go, but this was the first time we could enjoy an Onsen together. The buffet didn’t have a huge variety, but the individual sashimi servings were very delicious, and for someone my age it was more than enough. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

This was our first visit with three people, including an elderly guest. Thank you for offering to lend us a wheelchair as soon as we arrived. Our Room was a top-floor Japanese-Western style room with a great view, and being close to the elevator was very helpful. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The only disappointment was the open-air bath: the stairs leading to it were too steep, and it felt so quiet around there that it was a little unsettling to go alone even during the day. All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly, and cheerful, and we truly appreciated your hospitality. Thank you as well for your consideration regarding the wheelchair. We think this Accommodation is very easy to use for families with small children and for elderly guests. We would like to stay here again when we visit Toba.

We stayed as a couple. As always with Dormy Inn, we enjoyed the after-bath ice cream and late-night soba, and breakfast was excellent as well. There was an eel rice bowl option, and you could even pour dashi over it to make hitsumabushi-style eel rice. I also thought it was a great idea that each side dish could be taken in small individual bowls. There was bread too, but the only egg dish available was fried eggs, which was a little disappointing for me since I prefer scrambled eggs. Still, it was a very satisfying breakfast overall, and we would like to stay again.

It’s great that Hotel Mets is directly connected to Fukushima Station. The Room was more spacious than expected, offering excellent value for money.

This is my go-to Accommodation when staying in Sakai. I always have a comfortable stay here. It’s conveniently located near the downtown area and convenience stores. The Hotel’s service is excellent.

The room was clean and compact. The front desk and restaurant area are also compact, so everything you need can be taken care of quickly. The restaurant terrace was lovely and gave us a touch of resort atmosphere. As expected of a city-style hotel, the guests were pleasant—many international visitors were calm families and adults. It’s a hotel I’d like to stay at again.

The amenities are sufficient, the room is thoroughly cleaned, and there is nothing unnecessary—this is a wonderful Business Hotel where you can truly experience that simple is best.

My spouse and I visited Wakasa for the first time from Tokyo. A hidden Accommodation quietly nestled in a very peaceful fishing village. From our Room, the beautiful Sea of Japan stretched out below us. Listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, we enjoyed a truly luxurious time watching the sun slowly sink into the endless horizon. The view from the bath was also outstanding. The meal was a kaiseki course featuring plenty of fresh local fish and vegetables, and we were left speechless by the rich flavors—something you could never experience in the city. We were able to fully enjoy everything Wakasa has to offer. We look forward to staying again.

I booked fairly last-minute, but for this price—with free parking, breakfast, and an Onsen—I think it was more than worth it. It was disappointing that the Room cleaning wasn’t quite up to par, and the umbrella I borrowed was so small it felt like it was for a child. Breakfast had a decent selection of standard items. I would have been happy if there had been curry.

The Hotel has a wonderful overall atmosphere, and everything was kept very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the front desk service and the staff during meals, everything was excellent. Thanks to you, I had a truly pleasant time—thank you very much. Mt. Fuji from the bath, Mt. Fuji from the guest room, and Mt. Fuji while enjoying breakfast. Although the sky was cloudy, Mt. Fuji appearing now and then was breathtaking. I chose the Western-style breakfast, and everything was delicious—I left completely full in the morning. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. We visited on a three-generation girls’ trip. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The meals were excellent, both in presentation and in quality. The meal for our 3-year-old child was also of a very high standard. Above all, the hot spring water left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again in a different season.

I stayed at your accommodation two and a half years ago. At that time, the Hokuriku Shinkansen had not yet opened in Fukui Prefecture, so the nearest station was Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Main Line (now Happiline Fukui), and it took about 10 minutes by taxi to reach your accommodation. Now, with Echizen-Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen as the nearest station, it is conveniently located within walking distance for those traveling by Shinkansen. The room I stayed in was on the top floor of your seven-story accommodation. As shown in the images, you can see Route 8, the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and Hokuriku Expressway from there; however, my room faced away from Echizen-Takefu Station and Takefu Interchange. The design of this room reminded me of a hotel near Kanazawa Station (Via Inn Kanazawa), where a bed was placed next to a sofa in a similar layout. After relaxing briefly in my room, I went to the dining area on the first floor. The menu included some local specialties from Fukui (such as Echizen soba and sauce katsudon). I chose sauce katsudon for my meal. Afterward, I returned to my room and enjoyed a pleasant time there. The next morning when I looked out of my window, I saw beautiful morning scenery (as shown in two images). After checking out of your accommodation, I walked to Echizen-Takefu Station and boarded the Shinkansen for further sightseeing. I was truly impressed with staying at your hotel near this convenient Shinkansen station location. Thank you very much! I'd love to stay again!

Located very close to Kirishima Shrine, we visited after worship and enjoyed a consistently comfortable stay, enhanced by the refreshing hospitality. We also savored a variety of dishes that exceeded our expectations, and I was happy to see my mother enjoy her meal even more than usual. There are many stairs on the way to the hot springs, but unusually for her, my 80-year-old mother said her knees and lower back felt better after soaking and she enjoyed the baths twice. The room has a sense of history, yet it was thoroughly cleaned, and even on the way to our room we were soothed by the aroma of tea. We will visit again with our family in the near future.
