We arrived early and really enjoyed taking our time soaking in the group’s open-air baths—it was wonderful. The hotel’s indoor bath was also spacious and comfortable. Our room had a lovely atmosphere with a great view, and it felt very refreshing. One small downside was that the heat-insulating film on the glass seemed to have deteriorated, making it look slightly cloudy.

There are large TVs in both the bedroom and the living room, and my mother was thrilled to be able to watch the Asian Games!! We were truly impressed by how thoughtfully everything was arranged—down to the TV placement and easy-to-use amenities—as if our movements had been anticipated in advance. After a 4-hour journey, staying at this Accommodation made all our fatigue disappear! Breakfast was also amazing—they cooked tamagoyaki fresh on the spot, and it was incredibly delicious. The bath was great too, so we slept soundly that night. We’ll be back.

We stayed for one night and two days. After passing Kurokawa Onsen, the Accommodation appeared quietly tucked away. Inside was very clean with an elegant atmosphere. The Room had tatami flooring and a bright, stylish design. It seemed everyone was spending a relaxing time in their Rooms. The open-air bath was spacious, and no matter when we went in, we had it all to ourselves—such a luxurious time. The water quality was excellent, and we were very satisfied. The meals were well balanced and truly delicious. Since it is not in an Onsen town, this Accommodation is recommended for those who want to rest and relax at the Accommodation.

From the warm welcome to the lovely smile of the proprietress who served our meal, everything was full of hospitality, and the food was delicious. There was also a private bath, so I was able to spend a relaxing time with my wife, and I would like to stay again.

Because the property is operated by a small team, there were a few minor things I noticed, but the meals were delicious and served in just the right portions, and I was able to enjoy the bath to my satisfaction with a Reservation. I’d love to come back in autumn to see the fall foliage.

All staff members checked in with us thoughtfully and attentively, which made our family’s stay very comfortable. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will make a Reservation at the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto again for our next stay in Kyoto.

My spouse and I travel often, and Gyokusenkaku was an outstanding place to stay. The hospitality was excellent, the meals were great, and the hot pot broth was especially delicious. The only disappointment was that the bath water on the day we arrived was a little lukewarm. However, the morning bath was at a perfect temperature and warmed us up nicely. If I know anyone traveling to Yamaguchi Prefecture, I will definitely recommend this place. Thank you very much.

I live in Kobe and have been hiking Mt. Rokko and the surrounding mountains frequently for many years. I often passed by “Ocean Terrace Ajisai” and had been curious about it for a long time. After reading the Reviews, the food looked absolutely delicious. So I made a Reservation for our wedding anniversary. The meals more than lived up to their reputation—beautifully presented, wonderfully flavorful, and truly outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast left us happily stuffed. Everything was delicious, but I was especially impressed by how surprising and exquisite the fig dengaku and peach potage were—and it was my first time in my life to be genuinely amazed at how incredibly good Narazuke could be. The dashimaki tamago that appeared with a burst of steam when they opened the bamboo mat was also exceptional. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind and attentive, sharing enjoyable stories that made us feel at ease. The view was slightly hazy when we arrived, but when I woke up around midnight and stepped out onto the terrace, there were the night lights from Kobe to Osaka—and a full moon! I was thrilled by both our good luck and its beauty. And in the morning, seeing trees wrapped in mist—Mt. Rokko like I’d never seen before—moved me again… I would love to stay again in a different season. When making the Reservation, I saw the Room size in square meters and assumed it would be compact, but I must have misread it—it felt very spacious and relaxing, which was wonderful too.

During Silver Week, my daughter and grandchildren came to Tokyo to visit, so we stayed in a Godzilla Floor room and a Godzilla View room for my grandchild who loves Godzilla. They were thrilled, and we had a truly wonderful time. Both the staff and most of the guests were from overseas, but everyone was kind and treated us warmly. Breakfast was delicious as well. This was our first trip with our Pacific parrotlet. After researching online, we found this Hotel recommended as a must-visit spot, so we decided to stay here. As this stay also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we arranged a cake, and we were pleasantly surprised when the Hotel provided sparkling wine. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality. It became a truly memorable trip.

We stayed here as three generations—my mother-in-law, my husband, myself, and our children. The inn was very quiet, and since there was only one other group besides us, we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. For the bath, we could check availability on the signboard next to the reception desk, which made it easy to go in when it was free. My mother-in-law, my daughter, and I were able to enjoy it almost like a private bath together across three generations—such a wonderful memory. We were told the meals use herbal medicine ingredients, but there was no strong taste at all—just gentle, wholesome flavors that were truly delicious. They also prepared special dishes for our 6- and 5-year-old children, who were thrilled and really enjoyed their meal. In our room they provided both beds and futons. The children and I slept on futons while my mother-in-law and husband used the beds. Being able to separate sleeping arrangements according to everyone’s routine made our multi-generational stay very comfortable. There is also a river behind the inn, and in the morning my husband and son went for a walk. It seems they had a refreshing start to the day surrounded by nature. The food, the baths, and the staff’s hospitality were all excellent—we were completely satisfied with our stay. If I had one small note: there are quite a few stairs inside the building, so older guests or anyone with mobility concerns may find getting around a bit challenging. Other than that, everything was truly comfortable, and our whole family had a wonderful time. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

This was our first stay, and the hostess was very warm and welcoming. We felt truly at home, and it was a wonderful Accommodation. The conger eel course was a bit too much for us in our 70s, so we couldn’t finish the final clay pot rice. They kindly made it into rice balls for us, and we enjoyed it very much. Next time, we would love to visit again for the 3-year-aged pufferfish.

I stayed here to relax and unwind on my own. From the exterior alone it was exactly my style, and the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the wonderful scent of wood—perfect. Although it’s surrounded by nature, there are shops nearby, so I felt safe and comfortable even traveling solo. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I wanted to support a locally run, family-owned Accommodation, so I chose Irifune this time. The moment I stepped inside from the entrance, I was thrilled! After leaving the large public bath in the morning, I relaxed in the lobby with a cup of coffee. Spending unhurried time in the lobby while enjoying the traditional old house atmosphere was wonderful. The Room, the private bath in the Room, and the meals—everything was outstanding! I also purchased a pair of geta sandals. From now on, every time I wear them, I’ll remember Irifune and enjoy that lingering feeling in my everyday life. If I use them as indoor slippers, I’ll have more chances to wear them, so I plan to use them indoors. To all the staff: when I come back to Kumamoto, Irifune will be my only choice for a Reservation! The room was spotless, the service was outstanding, the bath was very relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent—I was extremely satisfied. I was worried it might be far from JR Nagasaki Station, but it turned out to be an easy walk. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for buses from the airport, which was very convenient. If I had to mention one small request, I would have liked a dimming function on the bedside lamp. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Nagasaki.

The room was clean, and it was a lovely property where I could relax and truly enjoy my stay. Dinner was very filling, and I was extremely satisfied. After dinner, there was an event where complimentary sake was served, so I enjoyed comparing different varieties. It was scary when three large centipedes appeared one after another at night, but when I called the front desk they responded immediately, which made me feel reassured. All of the staff were kind and had wonderful smiles, making this a truly enjoyable trip. I also enjoyed the large public bath, the in-room bath, and the courtyard garden—staying here was fantastic. I was extremely satisfied with all the Facilities in the property. The all-inclusive plan and the amenities bar were both excellent. The meals were delicious, and they were served at just the right timing. I truly felt genuine hospitality from all the staff, and it was incredibly comfortable! I will definitely be back again.

This time, I stayed here with my elderly parents. It was our second stay in six months, and although the weather wasn’t on our side this time, we still enjoyed everything—the meals, the lounge, and the entertainment. My parents were very satisfied with everything, including the atmosphere, and were truly happy with this trip. We would love to stay here again in the future.

At this Hotel with wonderful interiors, I was able to relax in the Onsen, enjoy truly delicious vegan cuisine, and spend a very happy time. It was such a lovely summer that it made me hope I could spend my retirement at a Hotel like this.
