Although the exterior is a traditional old house, the interior has been renovated and was very clean. The spacious stone bath overlooks the courtyard, which was charming and enjoyable. There was no air conditioner in the living room, and it felt a bit warm with only the airflow from the air conditioner in the adjacent bedroom. It was helpful that plenty of paper cups were provided. The bed was also comfortable, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time.

It was a very clean cottage, and we were able to relax and take our time. For meals and bathing, we made use of the shops at the roadside station and nearby restaurants. Thank you very much.

Perfect for solo camping, with fully equipped facilities and nothing to complain about. The manager was friendly and made me feel at ease. The location was excellent.

A Wonderful, Clean, and Comfortable Villa the Whole Family Loved Since it was newly built last year, it was very clean and spotless, and we had a truly pleasant stay. It was spacious enough, well stocked with amenities, and overall we were extremely satisfied! This time we brought three dogs with us. Because there’s also a dog run on site, they could play freely—and we were very happy too! We really appreciated how comfortable it was to stay here with pets. The pool was large enough to feel luxurious for private use, and our grandchildren (ages 6 and 1) were thrilled. They played to their hearts’ content and looked like they were having an amazing time! We thought it would be even better if the BBQ area had a roof. This time we brought our own tarp from home, so the sun wasn’t an issue and we could enjoy BBQ comfortably. Also, since the surrounding area is made up of regular homes, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t set off fireworks. The staff member who greeted us at check-in/check-out was very kind—speaking gently to our grandchildren and even chatting about rhinoceros beetles. That warm hospitality made us very happy, and we felt comfortable all the way through our stay. Space, cleanliness, facilities/amenities, pool, dog run—everything exceeded expectations! It was a wonderful villa where both our family and our dogs could enjoy a great time together. A truly lovely Accommodation that made us want to stay again.

There are about three separate houses available for exclusive rental, and I stayed in one of them. Thank you for upgrading me on the day and letting me stay in a newer place. It feels more like a guesthouse than a Hotel. I was traveling alone, so it actually felt too spacious. The Room and the bathroom were large and clean. The parking area was also spacious and easy to use. Use of the washing machine and purchasing food or drinks on-site are optional add-ons. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you very much for your kind support the other day. The Accommodation was clean, well stocked with amenities and equipment, and above all, the manager was truly wonderful!! Our trip was for three nights, but due to availability we could only stay two… We were all saying with the kids that we wished we could have stayed one more night at IKIIRO!! If I had to mention one thing, it was a little disappointing that the Wi-Fi signal was weak. However, the service more than made up for it, and we were very satisfied. Thank you again.

I was able to rest well on the fluffy futon, just as described in the Review. I expected a 4.5-tatami Room, but they provided a 6.5-tatami Room instead. It was great to have free drinks, and the bath was available from night through morning. The Facility was clean and uncluttered, which made me feel at ease.

We stayed here for a three-generation family trip. We had a very pleasant stay throughout our trip. The Accommodation was well stocked with amenities and supplies, and we were comfortable with everything we needed. The young children especially loved the outdoor hammock, the indoor darts, and the card games. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was very kind, so we felt at ease during our stay. We stayed here for a girls’ trip with five friends. It’s a whole-house rental, and the entire place is new and spotless! The interior and furniture are so stylish and cute that we were excited the moment we walked in. The owner was also kind and attentive, which made us feel at ease. You can see the ocean from the terrace, and the surrounding hills and fields create a truly relaxing atmosphere. Since it’s set slightly back from the main road, it was nice and quiet as well. When we visit Awaji Island again, we’d love to stay here again! Thank you very much for everything.

Our planned check-in time was 6:00 PM, but we ended up taking our time in central Gero. When we called to request a change to a 9:30 PM check-in, they kindly accommodated us. At check-in, they carefully explained the room and how to use the amenities. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable to stay in. We also traveled with our dog, and because the Accommodation we rented was spacious, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. When we visit the Gero area again, we would like to stay here again.

The building has an old mountain-cabin style, but the interior is kept clean. It has a spacious living Room, a dining kitchen, and two Japanese-style Rooms. You can also enjoy a BBQ on the large terrace. Air conditioning is fully equipped, so it’s comfortable even if you have a dog that gets hot easily. Also, the bath is very spacious.

A magnificent traditional Japanese house standing quietly in a hilly area. It seems to have opened recently, and with no Reviews at all, we made our Reservation based on the photos and description on the booking site. The result: absolutely the right choice! It brought back memories for the first time in decades of visiting a relative’s beautiful old home when I was a child. Spacious, spotless, and so much fun—we adults found ourselves walking around the Accommodation again and again. All Facilities, including the bathroom areas and appliances, are completely up to date. The price is unbelievably reasonable, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much in terms of amenities (sorry!), but everything is provided—you don’t need to bring anything. We also gratefully enjoyed the water, breakfast bread, and coffee. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend having a barbecue in the garden. There’s also a supermarket nearby. Basically it’s self-service. However, since everything you need is there, I think this is an ideal Accommodation for anyone who wants to do things at their own pace. By the way, it was online check-in so we didn’t get to meet them, but we heard it’s run by a couple. Their warm personality really came through in our email exchanges beforehand—I would have loved to meet them in person—so that’s my only regret. It isn’t an easy trip from Kanto, but it’s a wonderful place I’d love to visit again someday. Finally, I’m sorry this Review is so late.
