Thank you very much for your hospitality. Even during the Obon holiday, the price was very reasonable, the breakfast was delicious, and the bath was excellent! Although it was a smoking room, there was no odor at all, and we were completely satisfied. We would definitely like to stay again when visiting the Kansai area.

Thank you for taking care of us for two days. The free parking was very helpful. There was a supermarket nearby, which we used. It was conveniently located for getting to other places.

We stayed as a group of four, including my wife and parents. The charm and elegance of this building, designated as a city cultural property, were truly remarkable, and my parents were very pleased. I even wondered how such an environment could be provided while maintaining profitability. Here are some thoughts: 〇 Highlights - My parents found the traditional-style house nostalgic and reminisced about the past. I felt it would be great for elderly guests to stay here. Once inside (except for the twin bedroom and detached bathroom), there are no steps, making it comfortable for older adults. - The distance from Obi Castle was perfect; we enjoyed walks both in the evening and morning. The walking paths had a lovely atmosphere. - The garden was beautiful, and opening the window in the detached bathroom created a pleasant semi-open-air experience (though it's not an Onsen; bath salts might be nice). We also appreciated having Yoguruppe available. - The dining area featured delicious craft beer and shochu highball on tap, along with other drinks and snacks. As a fan of shochu highball myself, I was delighted (and drank too much). 〇 Areas for Improvement - The front door and toilet doors were stiff to open or close for elderly guests. It would be helpful if they could operate with less force. - While the outdoor stone stairs (9 steps) had small rises, the wooden entrance stairs (5 steps) had larger rises that seemed slippery—challenging for older adults with weaker legs or balance issues. We appreciated being advised beforehand about entering through the back door instead; however, even there were some steps without handrails that required caution. Adjustments to reduce step height would greatly benefit elderly visitors. - Due to low airtightness in parts of this historic building during pollen season, certain areas indoors (like desks in earthen-floored rooms or parts of hallway walls) felt slightly dusty. The town of Obi itself is wonderful but staying at this accommodation alone made our trip worthwhile—it was an exceptional experience! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Obi in the future. Thank you very much!

We chose this Accommodation because it has a play area for young children. We were satisfied with the Room, Onsen, and more, but the only drawback was that our Room did not have a bath or shower (I’m not sure if this was only the Room we stayed in). I wonder whether other Rooms had one.

Despite significant delays due to heavy traffic, we were warmly welcomed. The Room and hallway were warm, allowing us to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. Both the coffee and breakfast were delicious, and we ended up eating too much (haha). Thank you for a wonderful time.

A year after falling ill, I was finally feeling well again and truly enjoyed the soft-shelled turtle dishes. I did wish the portions were a bit larger, but considering the price, it felt reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied.

A complimentary daily buffet breakfast is a welcome service for busy mornings. There is also a kitchen, so you can prepare simple meals. This Hotel is ideal for long-term stays!

Our previous stay was a hit with our family, so this was our second visit. The meal set was excellent—last time we ordered the BBQ set, and this time we chose sukiyaki! Just like before, it was delicious and very filling. However, one thing: there wasn’t enough sukiyaki sauce… We still had meat left, but it ended up tasting watered down. Since there were no other seasonings, it felt like a waste of the meat. I would have liked at least 400–500 ml. I’m looking forward to improvements next time.\n Other than that, we were completely satisfied. We’d also like to try staying in another building. Thank you very much.

It was excellent. The room was clean, and the staff's service was outstanding. I would love to stay again when I visit Misawa. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

As the cats are community cats, they come to eat in the morning and evening and then go elsewhere. I was hoping they would stay around as resident cats, so as a cat lover I was a bit disappointed. Breakfast here is like a well-prepared set meal, with a variety of small dishes to enjoy. It was clearly better than the photos, so it was a pleasant surprise in that sense. I didn’t use the bath, so I can’t comment on it. The toilet was a little inconvenient to use, but the price is reasonable and the gentleman who helped us was very friendly, so I’d like to stay again.

It was great that the Hotel is close to the station and that parking was available at a low cost. The staff were very courteous, which made me feel at ease. I only realized after arriving that there is a large public bath, but it was convenient because you can go back and forth in loungewear and slippers. There were manga lined up outside the bath area, so I ended up reading “The Eternal Zero” straight through from Volume 1 to Volume 5. I stayed in a non-smoking single Room, and it felt clean. What I especially liked was the breakfast buffet. The selection is average, but every dish was delicious. In my experience, buffet meals at a Business Hotel usually include both good dishes and mediocre ones, but everything at Mark One Abiko tasted great. After breakfast, we drove to Michi-no-Eki Shonan and walked about half of Lake Teganuma. It made for a very fulfilling weekend.

Due to the typhoon approaching the Izu Islands, I thought the weather might not be favorable, but there was hardly any rain or wind, making for a pleasant stay. The warm hospitality of the owner couple was comforting, and I was able to enjoy a wonderful autumn day. The open-air bath, full of handmade charm, made me forget the hustle and bustle of city life—it was truly impressive. The meals had an original touch unique to this accommodation; the sashimi made from local fish was excellent. The Shirodai (possibly Emperor Snapper?) was delicious. The simmered Kinmedai (Golden Eye Snapper) had just the right amount of sweetness and tasted amazing. Thank you for providing such a wonderful day! The guest's crab was adorable!

The view from the Room (overlooking the Kamo River) was wonderful. I also liked the calm atmosphere throughout the entire building. As for breakfast, the egg dishes were delicious. The Hotel staff were impressive as well, providing smooth service from check-in to check-out. I loved the overall ambiance and would like to stay at this Hotel again. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. The kaiseki dinner, in particular, truly moved me—it was the most delicious I have had in years. Each dish was carefully prepared, and both the flavors and presentation were outstanding. I would highly recommend it to everyone. My sincere thanks to the head chef for preparing such an exceptional meal. The Onsen was also lovely, with a great atmosphere, and I was able to relax and unwind. However, I was a little disappointed that the women’s bathing hours were only from 17:00 to 20:00. I would have been even happier if it had been available for longer. The Room was clean and comfortable, and overall it felt like a calm, private space that I really enjoyed. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

It was my first time dining on a riverside platform, and I was truly impressed. Even at night, it was much more comfortable than the heat in the city—perhaps thanks to the surrounding greenery and the river. Since it’s by the river, I worried about insect bites, but there were none, which was a relief. I’d love to visit again during the autumn foliage season. The only disappointment was the large public bath. The women’s bath could fit four people, but the men’s bath could only fit two, so my husband said he had to soak quickly and get out in a hurry. If it were a bit larger, everything would have been perfect!

This is a Ryokan I had wanted to stay at for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. Beautiful fresh flowers throughout, truly delicious cuisine, an impressive hinoki bath, and kind staff—just to name a few. It is an elegant Ryokan with pet-friendly Rooms; we traveled with our Miniature Schnauzer, who tends to be quite wary, but he didn’t bark at all and we enjoyed a calm overnight stay.

With a British-style exterior, the drinks available on the sofa at the front desk are soothing, and the dinner and breakfast are superb! The side vegetables have a deliciousness that cannot be tasted in the city, and each dish was very tasty. The room has a unit bath and is well-equipped with amenities, but there are several onsens nearby that I recommend. I was very satisfied with the very reasonable stay.

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

A glamping facility where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although they were cautious and could only be seen from a distance, we got to see adorable deer! Enjoying dinner while listening to the cute calls of deer, the sounds of night insects, and the crackling firewood was simply amazing! The portions were quite generous, so we couldn't finish all of the hot pot, which was a bit wasteful. However, it had a gentle flavor and was incredibly delicious. The chicken had a rich taste that paired perfectly with drinks! After dinner, we relaxed on the sofa with dessert in hand, chatting leisurely with friends and enjoying peaceful moments. Next time, I’d love to visit in winter to enjoy snowy landscapes and a wood-burning stove!
