I stay at about 10 Onsen Ryokan a year, and this was the best. Even the president came to greet us.

We stayed as a family of three with our 5th-grade daughter. The Room was clean and comfortable, and we had a very relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious, and we ate so much our stomachs hurt. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved a bit more variety of local specialties at breakfast, but there was more than enough food overall, so we were very satisfied. We were a little worried about the midsummer heat and the rural scenery, but we trusted everyone’s Reviews and are glad we chose this place. We enjoyed it together with visits to the Honda Collection Hall and Mobility Park, making it a fulfilling trip that felt different from usual—and we truly got to enjoy Motegi. We even saw shooting stars when looking up at the night sky, and were able to fully experience both nature and mobility. If we have another chance, we’d love to come back next time just to take our time stargazing.

I usually choose a Hotel, but this time I made a Reservation to stay at an Onsen Ryokan. My girlfriend especially loved the Onsen, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the Room, so it was great that we could each spend our time the way we liked. Dinner had just the right number of dishes, and everything was delicious to the end. We had to walk a little from the parking lot to the entrance, but otherwise it was very comfortable, and we’d like to stay again in a different season.

I ended up coming back again in less than a month. When I finally had some free time and wondered where to go, my feet naturally led me to Hotel AreaOne Banjinmisaki. This time the Hotel was almost fully booked. There seemed to be a sports tournament nearby, and many families were staying the night before—an eye-opening way to use the Hotel. Our family came to enjoy the sea at Banjinmisaki and to see the winged swim ring we’d spotted on Instagram. With a free rental float in hand, we played in the water at the nearly empty beach right in front of us. The kids were thrilled, and our whole family had a wonderful time. Even though it wasn’t officially beach season yet, the water was already warm enough for us to fully enjoy playing with our children along the shoreline. There’s a shower room on the first floor of the Hotel, so it’s easy to rinse off sand. If you bring your yukata with you, you can rinse off and head straight to the bath—such great convenience. I say this every time, but I truly believe the view from the Room window is the best in the world. Relaxing in your Room while watching the sunset, then setting off fireworks under a sky full of stars—I don’t think there are many Hotels like this anywhere in Japan, or even worldwide. And I feel that our Kashiwazaki trip is made possible by all of this thanks to everyone on staff who supports these wonderful moments. This time we were lucky enough to get tai meshi for breakfast, and we enjoyed an amazing meal together with an incredible view—such a satisfying morning. While browsing the Hotel’s souvenir corner, we bought some lovely sweets and a spoon like those shown in photos. Many Hotels sell souvenirs made in Osaka or Saitama—or even overseas—but this Hotel offers local specialties properly made in Niigata, which left a great impression on me. The sweets were made in Kashiwazaki and were delicious. As for the spoon—it was crafted by an artisan from Tsubame-Sanjo—and it’s so outstanding that after using it at home I honestly felt it might be “the best spoon in the world,” just like this Hotel. A Hotel that can curate souvenirs like these really might be number one! I always care more about where something is manufactured than who sells it, so I think this Hotel has impeccable taste with its strong selection of local specialties. On this trip—despite having visited dozens of times—I realized for the first time that even just browsing this souvenir corner makes staying here worthwhile. In any case, this is truly an excellent Hotel with wonderful staff who have great taste as well. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in a 14-tatami room with the Beef Shabu-Shabu Plan. We drove there, and after check-in they kindly provided Shuttle Service to Togendai. Dinner featured beautifully marbled beef shabu-shabu, which got the whole family excited, and it was delicious. Although we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji even once due to afternoon thunderstorms on both days, we were very satisfied with the great hot spring bath and tasty meals.

Thank you for the very kind and friendly service from the front desk staff. I was glad to relax in the large public bath, and the location close to Susukino was very convenient.

We had an incredibly fulfilling stay. From the interior and exterior design to the furniture, decor, fixtures, amenities, lawn, and open grounds, this was a wonderfully comfortable Facility where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The interior is unified in a calm design, with very high ceilings that create an airy sense of openness, allowing us to fully enjoy a special time away from everyday life. The vanity area and bathroom were especially spacious and impressive—made with high-quality materials and kept impeccably clean down to every corner. The amenities also felt thoughtfully chosen; for example, Aesop hand soap was provided at the sink. All essential cookware and appliances were available, so we could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. We even enjoyed handheld fireworks in the garden. The views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps were also stunning—scenery you could gaze at for hours without noticing time pass. Most memorable of all were the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge bath. The wood-fired sauna was exceptional—enjoying it while feeling the flicker of flames, hearing the crackle of burning logs, and breathing in the scent of wood was truly special. Unlike an electric heater, it had a gentle heat that warmed us slowly from deep within and helped us relax completely. A large amount of sauna stones were thoroughly heated, so we could also enjoy pleasant steam from löyly. It’s an ideal setup that I would highly recommend even to dedicated sauna lovers. They added ice to the cold plunge bath multiple times for us, so we could cool down properly. Paired with the wood-fired sauna, it was perfect—we fully enjoyed every session. In the evening we enjoyed a BBQ, and we really appreciated that the owner prepared everything—from lighting the fire to setting everything up. On top of that, we received a generous gift of fresh vegetables grown by his wife. They were all rare varieties you don’t often see day-to-day, and you could feel careful attention not only in each vegetable but also in their labels and packaging. We tried them right away at our BBQ—especially the eggplant, which was unbelievably tender and delicious. Beyond how wonderful both the Facility itself and its location are, we were truly moved by the owners’ thoughtful hospitality as well. In this extraordinary setting—with beautiful views, a wood-fired sauna experience like no other،and BBQ—we spent a luxurious yet deeply comfortable time here. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.

The welcome drink and free parking at Nao Resort Hotel were great, and the staff were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. The Naraya Group staff are consistently outstanding. We booked during a time sale at this price, and even breakfast was included—I almost felt bad. I was also happy that the card payment included the Hot Spring Tax. We had a wonderful time around Yubatake. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the Onsen for personal reasons, but my sister and mother were truly impressed by Ichinoyu’s waters, several nearby baths they could enjoy many times, and Soan’s private bath. Thank you again—everything was perfect.

I stayed here on a business trip. This was my second stay, and it was very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to the subway, Hankyu line, and bus stops, and right in the city center, making it easy to get to work the next morning. The bed is spacious, so I could relax well. Both the Room and bathroom are clean. Last time, breakfast was very delicious, so I chose a plan with breakfast again this time. The handmade rice balls are amazing. A hearty meal helps me start the day feeling energized. The staff at both the front desk and dining area provide great service, which makes me feel at ease. I would like to stay here again.

I was truly impressed by a stay that exceeded all expectations in comfort! After feeling refreshed in the barrel sauna, I cooled down in the open-air jacuzzi. At night, I enjoyed the warm Onsen and then relaxed again in the jacuzzi. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—one amazing moment after another!! All of the staff were kind and attentive while keeping a comfortable distance, and they took great care of us. We could also enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from reception, making it a soothing getaway surrounded by nature. The next day we visited the large public bath in the bathing facility, but unfortunately the weather was bad and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. Next time, I’m looking forward to unwinding in the sauna and enjoying some fresh-air relaxation while taking in Mt. Fuji’s magnificent view. My husband and I promised each other we’ll definitely return—and book a Multiple Night Stay. Until then, I’ll work hard (haha).

I had wanted to stay at a Hotel with an Onsen, so I was satisfied this time. The gentle hot water and the delicious breakfast were great. However, the front desk staff felt rather unfriendly.

We visited with great anticipation, having heard this Accommodation has a 150-year history. From the warm welcome at arrival, everyone greeted us with smiles, and our expectations immediately rose. We were escorted to our Room by a staff member, and the attentive service was remarkably detailed—something rare these days. The building has been beautifully renovated. Relaxing in the lounge surrounded by nature while looking out over the clear stream of the Hoki River was wonderful, and our conversations flowed easily. The facilities and our Room were spacious and spotless, and the gentle scent of incense was delightful. Every staff member we passed had a soothing smile. Dinner was carefully prepared, and the thoughtfully chosen tableware made it feel even more delicious. My mother and aunt—both very particular about food—praised it highly as well; we were truly impressed by the flavors of the ingredients themselves. The semi-open-air bath in our Room and the public baths felt silky soft on the skin, so we enjoyed them again and again. It seemed to promote perspiration; we warmed up from deep within, and all fatigue melted away. There were also table tennis, massages, and more available to enjoy—the service is thorough in every way. We also heard that for a Multiple Night Stay, different dishes are served each day. After dinner, we took a walk along the Hoki River and saw fireflies drifting through an enchanting scene—it felt magical. This became an unforgettable memory of this Accommodation. On the drive home we were already saying, “Let’s come back for a Multiple Night Stay in another season.” At a time when many places are simplifying their services, we are truly grateful to have found such a wonderful Accommodation with such attentive hospitality. We will recommend it to friends and acquaintances as well. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here. Because it is near an intersection, it was difficult to enter the Hotel parking lot. The facilities were comfortable. I thought the shaved ice ticket included in the Plan would be just a small sample, but it exceeded my expectations and was a great value.

From the warm welcome to the courteous service and attitude of all staff, this Accommodation was excellent. The building was also well cleaned and very comfortable to stay in. Unfortunately, we were not blessed with good weather and could not see a sky full of stars, so I would like to visit again someday. I rated the bath 4 stars because the outdoor mixed-gender bath was too lukewarm, so I deducted one point.

The staff were very courteous. The Room was very clean. Despite the reasonable price, you can use the large public bath, and parking is free. Gotemba Premium Outlets are nearby, and access is excellent! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very good!

A Tyrannosaurus at the entrance, and dinosaurs at the front desk really excited us. The Room was spacious, with a large bathroom, quiet and comfortable for our stay. Thank you very much!

I stayed at Route Inn for the first time. Even though it was a bit late at night, the staff provided pleasant service. The Room and service were excellent! It's not as far from the station as expected, so it's also recommended for those not using a car.

I stayed one night in a non-smoking single Room with No Meals Included. Last time I didn’t have the timing or courage and skipped it, but this time I tried the curry rice. I was so hungry that I even had seconds. It was delicious! The Room was simple, and while the service was also straightforward, it was polite. Considering the price, I’m satisfied. I used it for a solo trip to Akita from Miyagi. The lack of a large public bath for women didn’t particularly bother me. The Room is relaxing and the Hotel feels reassuring, and Yokote is a calm place as well, so I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much.
