The meals were absolutely delicious. They had a strong local character, and we were very satisfied with the beautifully presented dishes that made the most of the ingredients. The open-air bath in the Room was spacious with wonderful water, and the Room was clean and relaxing. Unfortunately, because we stayed on a day with bad weather, we couldn’t see a sky full of stars, so this is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

The staff provide courteous and kind service. The bath and in-room amenities are well stocked. As it was midwinter, a warming gel pack had been placed inside the bedding, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a cozy, warm futon. The Room air conditioner kept us plenty warm, and a fan heater was also provided as a backup to further heat the room if needed. The meals were excellent in both taste and portion size. We were able to fully enjoy spiny lobster until we were completely satisfied. Overall, it is a wonderful Accommodation with an elegant atmosphere.

The complimentary drink service and delicious breakfast were included, and I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, and the amenities were well stocked. If I visit Okinawa again, I would definitely like to stay here.

During our 2-night, 3-day stay, we were able to truly relax both body and mind. Since we live in Saitama and this is Kagoshima, we can’t visit often, but we would definitely love to return. From the warm welcome to the delicious dinner… the treats of shochu and fireworks… I’m still thinking about how best to describe how wonderful it all was. The food was never flashy; instead, it was carefully prepared using freshly harvested vegetables and local fish and meat, and it felt as if I was becoming healthier from the inside out. Simply delicious! You can also feel the attention given to the tableware and presentation. The hot spring water… without a doubt, it was outstanding. We also felt completely at ease in our Room. Above all, we could sense kindness and care in every detail. The message written on a beautiful leaf, and the rice balls and rolled omelet you gave us to take when going out or returning—both were heartwarming and delicious. Thank you very much. Your warm hospitality—while maintaining just the right distance for each guest—was excellent in every way. This Accommodation reminded us of a gentle kindness that daily busyness had made us forget. Lastly… we hope that adorable pair of chickens stays healthy for a long time. Thank you for such wonderful memories. We would love to visit again for sure.

I stayed here on a business trip. It’s close to the station and has a large public bath, which helped me relax after work. Thank you very much.

Due to high hotel prices in Kurashiki on Saturday, I stayed at this accommodation and traveled by train. The money saved on the hotel allowed me to enjoy a more luxurious dinner in Kurashiki. The room was more spacious than expected, and the bed and pillows were excellent. Although I arrived early, they kindly stored my luggage, and the free parking was very helpful. The customer service was also great.

Conveniently located near Saito-Miyakonojo Station and Hiroguchi Bus Stop, making it easy to find. The building is new, and the rooms and facilities are very clean. The "Tabibito no Yu" on the first floor is a natural Onsen, very clean with a large bath where you can relax and unwind. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options with a good variety and delicious taste. Within a 5-minute walk, there are many izakayas (Japanese pubs) and yakiniku restaurants, so there's no need to worry about dinner. I visited an izakaya where I enjoyed Miyazaki beef, pork, and chicken at an incredible value not seen in Tokyo. If I have another chance to visit Miyakonojo, I would love to stay here again!

We stayed here as three generations, traveling with my parents-in-law. Before our stay, I contacted the Accommodation twice to ask whether our Rooms could be on the same floor, whether we could dine in the same venue, and about meals for the children. Both times, the staff responded courteously, which made us feel at ease on the day of arrival. As this is a long-established Ryokan, the building is not new, but it has a calm atmosphere that suited my parents-in-law perfectly. Some wallpaper in parts of the Room was peeling, and perhaps due to a special type of wallpaper there was some fuzz that seemed to float around, but overall the Room was relatively clean. The meals were kaiseki-style and just the right amount; our family enjoyed them very much. The staff also explained each dish carefully, making it a truly pleasant dining experience. There was also an excellent selection of alcoholic drinks. When traveling with children we often end up choosing buffet-style dining elsewhere, so it was a great experience for them to enjoy kaiseki cuisine as well. In the lounge, perhaps because it is open to non-staying guests too, all seats were taken at first; once seats became available they called our Room via internal phone so we could use it. We were able to spend relaxing time together as a family. As for the Onsen, there is nothing to complain about—the water quality was wonderful and the large public bath was clean. Overall, I felt that the high level of hospitality from all staff members is what drives guest satisfaction here. The Facility itself may not stand out compared with other Ryokan in every respect, but their hospitality more than makes up for it. Thank you very much.

It was a comfortable stay at this new Hotel. It is located right in front of the station, making it convenient for dinner and for a morning walk around Senba Lake. Breakfast was well prepared, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The only issue was that it did not appear on my car navigation system. Perhaps because the Hotel is new, or because my navigation system is outdated, it did not come up by name or phone number. The roads around Mito Station include some multi-level intersections and are a bit complicated, so it took some time to find it.

Because they cannot accommodate a large number of guests, they provided attentive service to each party. There were also guests who came just for meals, so they were busy, but it never felt hectic—truly a wonderful Accommodation. Every dish was delicious, but the portions were more than someone in their 50s could finish, so we left some. It’s best to arrive hungry.

The made-to-order breakfast options are simply outstanding. The buffet is also well stocked, with a wide variety of drinks. I’ve only stayed in the twin Room, but it’s very clean and comfortable. The size is decent. The lounge is a calm space where you can read while enjoying delicious coffee. The staff are all very pleasant, and I think it’s a great Hotel. If I had to nitpick… the parking lot is a bit narrow. When large cars are parked there, it can be quite difficult to get in. Also, when the lot right next door is full, you have no choice but to park at the second lot a few blocks away. It’s fairly far, so it’s tough if you have lots of luggage or on extremely hot days. I loved the Japanese-modern exterior and the chic, calming interior. The guest room had a high ceiling, and the alcove lantern added a wonderful Japanese ambiance—I could really feel the good taste in the design. I heard there are only about 10 rooms in total, so the Onsen was never crowded and I could soak at my leisure. Dinner featured a wide variety of dishes using summer vegetables, seasonal fish, and local ingredients; I was very satisfied with the gentle seasoning. The edamame potage is something I’d love to have again. Breakfast also offered plenty of options and more than enough food—above all, the rice was delicious. From welcome to farewell, I felt truly high-quality service in every interaction with the staff. It was a stay that reminded me how glad I am to choose a Ryokan again after such a long time. Highly recommended Accommodation!

The meals are very healthy, using locally sourced ingredients. However, many dishes require guests to cook for themselves, such as shabu-shabu and skewered fried items, and they felt like dishes we could make at home. In other words, there didn’t seem to be many creative or unique options. Using freshly harvested vegetables and eggs, I would like the head chef to offer a few more elaborate dishes. The Room and bath were wonderful, and we were able to relax while fully enjoying nature. This time, extra towels were brought free of charge upon request, but since we bathe in the Onsen multiple times, it would be appreciated if two towels per person were provided from the start. Thank you very much.

My husband stayed here on a solo motorcycle trip. He was very pleased that he could relax at this quiet seaside Accommodation. He also said the seafood was delicious. Thank you very much.

With flight cancellations expected, I searched for a place at the last minute. I was able to make a Reservation easily online. The Room was much more spacious than I expected. There was a washer and dryer in the Room, free of charge. In addition to the bed, there was also a two-seater sofa—amazing value for this price.

All the staff were very courteous and kind, and I was able to spend my entire stay comfortably. The Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail and felt exceptionally spotless, so I could relax with peace of mind. Every meal was delicious, and I was completely satisfied. This Accommodation left a wonderful impression. Thank you very much to all the staff!

Great location, and the room was spotless—very satisfied.

We were able to relax with our children and feel at home, and thanks to that we spent 5 days/4 nights without the kids getting sick. The aquarium was close by, and we also drove a rental car to sightsee around Kouri Island and Nago. The beach was nearby too, so we could easily drop by in our free time. It was very helpful to be able to dry our water shoes and life jackets on the terrace. Laundry dried quickly in the dryer, so even for 5 days/4 nights we were able to pack much lighter. A supermarket was also close, so we could quickly shop for what we needed, and the kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals. It felt like home—not a luxury trip—but everything we needed was provided with no waste, including basic amenities, which made for an affordable and comfortable stay. There were more children than adults in our group, but there were enough futons and plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Thank you very much!

The building isn’t new, but it was clearly well maintained and very clean! It was a pet-friendly Room, but there was no noticeable odor at all. We were very satisfied with the Room!! The pool is available from 9:00 to 17:00, but since check-out is at 10:00, using the pool in the morning feels a bit rushed. I thought it would be nicer if check-out were at 11:00 so we could relax more. Next time, I’d like to come back for a Multiple Night Stay and take it easy!
