I stayed during the late-snow season. I had visited once a long time ago, and this time I stayed for one night to relax and spend some quiet time in Ohara. Perhaps because of the season, I had the Onsen all to myself both morning and evening. The meals were Japanese-style, just how I like them: chicken hot pot for dinner, and simmered fish for breakfast with plenty of rice accompaniments. The chicken hot pot was delicious, and comparing different miso flavors made the rice go down even easier. The table layout was calm and comfortable, set so you can look out at the garden without feeling other guests’ eyes on you. Thanks to the kind advice from the young proprietress, I visited a temple she recommended the next day. There is quite a bit of self-service in the Room, but it didn’t bother me. The Accommodation also felt like great value, and I’d love to return every year around this time.

I stayed here for business, but it’s affordable and close to major attractions, so I also recommend it for sightseeing.

Considering the price, both the Room and the meals are more than sufficient. Breakfast doesn’t offer a huge variety, but I ended up eating too much of the homemade dishes. I sometimes see Review that sound like complaints, but then I think: if so, why not stay at a more expensive Hotel?

It was a wonderful place. It made me want to visit Nayoro again just to stay here. Convenience stores aren’t too far away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I highly recommend it!

This was my first time staying here. Although I won’t go into details, there was a difference from what I had reserved, which initially left me confused. However, the staff responded quickly, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay. I feel it’s rare to find a Hotel that provides such pleasant service these days. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This property uses a self check-in system. There are a few issues, such as no bidet toilet seat and older Facility, but it is sufficient for an overnight stay. Breakfast was served in a nicely renovated space; even during the three-day weekend it wasn’t crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. The coffee, fried egg, and pudding were delicious. The staff were also courteous. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you for the other day. We stayed with two young children, and since the bed was placed against the wall, we were able to rest comfortably and safely. The service was courteous, making our stay pleasant. We would like to use this accommodation again when we have business nearby. Thank you very much.

Close to the station and surrounded by restaurants, the Hotel is very convenient. The Room had a separate sink, making it very user-friendly. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

The building and the Room walls felt a bit dated, but unlike many recent Business Hotels, the bath, toilet, and washbasin were separate. The in-room bath was spacious enough to stretch out (I’m 168 cm tall), so I could relax comfortably. The front desk staff were kind and greeted me with a smile even when I came and went early in the morning or late at night, which made my stay very pleasant. The only disappointment was that BS channels weren’t available, so I couldn’t watch the Brazil match of the Soccer World Cup with Honda’s commentary (lol).

The building and the Room are old, but it was more than enough for a business trip since I only needed a place to sleep. Above all, it’s reasonably priced and close to the station, so I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Utsunomiya on business. I also appreciate that there is a large public bath, and all the front desk staff are kind.

For a Room of this grade with an open-air bath and two meals included at this price, I personally have no complaints. If I had to mention one drawback, I could hear conversations from the neighboring Room quite clearly.

The Room was spotless. The view was beautiful. Everything about the location was perfect. On the day of our stay, we made a last-minute request to move from Building A-1 to Building A-2, and they kindly accepted and had it ready in about 20 minutes. During that time, they even served us tea at the café. All of the staff were truly wonderful! If I have a chance to visit Yamaguchi again, I’d love to stay here again, and it’s an Accommodation I can confidently recommend to others. By the way, the view of Tsunoshima Bridge and the sunset from the balcony at dusk was absolutely stunning!!! Building A-2 has a kitchen/dining area, so it was a great space for cooking and eating together (4 chairs). Also, although it wasn’t shown in the photos, there was a bedroom on the first floor! There’s also a small shower room. With two beds on the first floor and two on the second floor, there’s more than enough space for four people—you can stay comfortably and relax. When deciding on our booking, it was hard to understand the overall layout of the Room, and I felt like I couldn’t gather all the information from photos alone. So when we entered on arrival, we kept being surprised—“There’s space like this too?!” “Wow, it’s this spacious?!” It might be helpful if there were Instagram posts or similar that show an overall layout in advance. The nearby beaches were very beautiful as well, and if we travel again in summer, I’d love to come back here. Please let us stay again—thank you very much!

A slightly old-fashioned Showa-era accommodation. However, the onsen features a rock bath and is very relaxing. The meals were also delicious. I think it is suitable for pilgrims.

Although the building is old, the interior seems to have been renovated, and it was clean and well maintained. The unit bath was new and very comfortable to use. There were no bottled waters provided, but there was a pot filled with cold water. It was so cold that I was impressed. I didn’t notice at first that the yukata were on the shelf under the side table, so I panicked thinking there were no loungewear!! The pillow was thin and there was only one; it was fine for sleeping, but I wished there had been a cushion for relaxing in the Room. The breakfast area is small, but there was a good variety of side dishes, along with salad and fruit, and both rice and bread were available—very satisfying. The staff member who assisted us was a foreigner who spoke Japanese fluently. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

This was my first time having ramen for breakfast at a Hotel, and I was delighted that I could add my favorite toppings and enjoy a bowl just the way I like it. The tonkotsu broth wasn’t greasy, so it didn’t feel heavy even in the morning, and I enjoyed it to the last sip. And the curry bread is truly outstanding! The curry inside has just the right level of spice and tastes great. Also, all of the staff were consistently cheerful and pleasant, and their energetic greetings left a strong impression. It helped me start the day in a great mood. I’d love to stay again!

I’ve been staying here frequently lately, and the other day I had to extend my stay at short notice due to scheduling. The front desk staff handled it smoothly, and I had a wonderful time. I’d like to stay here again in the future.

The sauna was excellent. There were loaner sauna hats by the sink, plenty of aroma oils for löyly, and the temperature gets quite high, which was great. It was also nice to have plenty of towels! We stayed in Room 202, and the sauna room is a bit small. It has two tiers, and it’s wide enough for two adults to sit side by side. There’s a refrigerator right before the door from the Room to the sauna area, so it’s easy to grab drinks. As for service, all of the staff were very pleasant. We came by car, but since it’s Azabu-Juban, all nearby coin parking lots around the Hotel were expensive, so I wished there were a partnered parking option. Public transportation might be best. We ordered the motsunabe course via room service. The food was carefully prepared, generous in portion size, and very delicious. The refrigerator was extremely well stocked and really lifted my mood! There was mineral water throughout the Room so we never ran out of water, and we also enjoyed Oropo. However, since we used a Room with only one bathtub, you have to fill it as a cold bath after showering, which may feel a bit inconvenient. Even if small, I would have liked a separate tub just for cold baths (maybe some suites have one). The shower head, hair dryer, hair iron straightener, and curling iron were all ReFa products, which made me happy. It felt better than bringing my own. Next time I’d like to stay in a top-floor Room with a balcony. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The space was very spacious and comfortable. This was my second stay, and I would love to stay again and highly recommend it.

The room, facilities, bath, and meals were all extremely satisfying. The meal menu was diverse, and above all, the drinks were incredibly affordable. The morning plate was warm and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Although there are some reviews mentioning "hair," we found no such issues at all; the cleanliness was impeccable. The bath was very spacious with a large-screen bath TV to enjoy, and there were plenty of amenities available. We stayed as an elderly couple and found it more than satisfactory—truly exceptional! Our future travel plans will likely revolve around Fine hotels in various locations. We're already considering when to stay at this hotel again next time! Despite calling multiple times, we deeply appreciate the staff's prompt responses and their heartfelt service.
