It was a very convenient location for taking the early-morning direct bus to Kagoshima Airport. The Room was clean and comfortable. There was an AEON very close by, which was very convenient.

There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and the washer and dryer are free to use, which is a big help for business travelers. Because it’s set one street back from the main road, I was able to enjoy a quiet stay. Breakfast was satisfying, with bread available as well—I ended up eating too much in the morning. The staff were also very friendly, so I could head to work in a great mood. Thank you very much. The price is budget-friendly as well, so I’ll be back again in autumn.

The service, the Onsen water quality, and the meals were all so wonderful that there was nothing to complain about. The only thing that made me hesitate was that the tea and water at the vending machines were a bit pricey. The entire building was thoroughly cleaned and very beautiful. The Onsen was described as being like “lotion for your skin.” The front desk staff also said it was excellent, but since many places claim that, I didn’t think much of it at first. However, it wasn’t like any of the silky Onsen I’ve tried before—truly smooth yet refreshing. The temperature was just right, and the open-air bath was outstanding. The food tasted amazing—delicious in a genuinely well-crafted way without relying on expensive ingredients to impress—and we could really enjoy local specialties. Breakfast was also excellent. Above all, every staff member was pleasant, making this an Accommodation we were completely satisfied with. I’d love to come back!

I visited with a same-day Reservation. Thank you for kindly accommodating us despite the short notice. When I entered the Room, a gentle hinoki-like scent filled the space and was truly soothing. The complimentary room fragrance and bath salts were a lovely touch, and they helped me relax even after returning home. The Room was very clean and well maintained, so I felt comfortable staying there. I would love to visit again.

Staying at a ryokan located within a temple's grounds was a first for me, and I was quite excited. The facility is old, but the bath was newly renovated and very comfortable to use. Above all, the meals were delicious. The variety of dishes, even though it was traditional vegetarian cuisine, never felt monotonous. It was truly wonderful. If it were closer, I would love to visit again just for the meals. Such a delightful accommodation.

We stayed at TATEGU -YA for two nights. It was spacious and comfortable for two people. The renovation was wonderful, thoughtfully incorporating valuable carvings as well as pillars, doors, and glass windows originally used by the joinery shop into everyday living. Compared to our last visit (three years ago), we felt there were more younger people around town, giving it a lively atmosphere. This is an Accommodation and a town we look forward to visiting again.

My wife’s favorite. A wonderful Accommodation that makes you want to come back again and again. This was our third stay, including Reservations made by my wife. This time it was a gift from me. It’s truly exceptional every time, so I wanted to leave a Review. Our usual way of spending time here is enjoying authentic organic coffee brewed with the espresso machine in the Room. Sipping coffee while looking down over the terraced rice fields through the large window of the tatami room, we both forgot about our phones and were able to relax for the first time in a while. Breakfast was also outstanding: rice harvested from the terraced fields right in front of us, cooked in a clay pot. The miso soup made with additive-free black soybean miso and dried-sardine broth felt gentle on the body, and this simple yet carefully prepared meal is something we truly appreciate. Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy this time, the earthy scent after the rain and the lush, misty view of the terraced fields were beautiful—we could have watched it forever. At night, a few fireflies drifted softly through the air, and my wife and I were moved by how magical it felt. Another great memory was chatting casually with the landowner who came by to check on the rice paddies; we learned about local life and culture. It warmed my heart to realize that this beautiful nature is preserved thanks to such careful stewardship by people in the community. A staff member told us that “the Milky Way in July and even midwinter starry skies are beautiful,” so next time we’d love to visit in another season with stargazing in mind. Thank you again for another wonderful stay.

The views and the Facility were both excellent. I would have appreciated more flexibility with check-out.

Before arriving, we got a little lost, but friendly locals kindly spoke to us. Even before check-in, we felt the warmth of the people and it made us smile. At the entrance, the cool sound of wind chimes welcomed us. We were impressed by how beautifully maintained this historic building is—many original elements remain, yet everything is kept in excellent condition. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful explanations about the origin of the transom designs, hidden features within the building, and local history, we enjoyed our tour far more deeply than we could have on our own. The garden in the Omi-associated “Donketsu-ryu” style was unlike anything we had seen before. With many tall trees, we could enjoy a beautiful layered view not only from the first floor but also from our Room on the second floor. There was also a pond shaped like Lake Biwa and a tea-room-like space—an outstanding setting that made us want to relax outdoors in other seasons as well. We were also very satisfied with our meal at “Kokarokkon,” which came highly recommended by the Facility. Not only was every dish exceptional, but we were moved by everything—from the displayed art and attentive care from the staff to their explanations of each course and enjoyable conversation. This was a wonderful Accommodation filled with history, gardens, great food, and warm hospitality. We would love to visit again during a season when it’s comfortable enough to spend more time outside.

I stayed as a solo guest. The room was truly right in front of the ocean, and whether I was in the living room, bedroom, or bath, the view of the blue sea was incredibly refreshing. Since cooking utensils were provided, I made a reservation with No Meals Included but enjoyed dinner at Amanoyu, a restaurant within the group facility. I also found it very appealing that I could access both the sake bar and onsen at Yokaikan, another group facility! I initially planned to relax and work in the villa but was pleasantly surprised to have access to such a spacious public bath! Working surrounded by the sea in such a spacious room was very fulfilling; next time, I'd love to try having a BBQ with friends. Thank you so much!

This Accommodation is in a very quiet location surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing stay. We made a Reservation for a dog-friendly Room, and it was wonderful to spend time in nature with our dog without any worries. The sauna is private, so you can enjoy it as many times as you like at any time. The outdoor relaxation and cold plunge in the forest air felt amazing. Check-in was self-service. After you complete guest registration via the URL sent by email in advance, you will be able to check your Room number and check-in code. Next time, we’d love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy some unhurried time with our dog!

Based on past Reviews, it looked great, so I decided to book. It’s been a few years since I last stayed at a pension. It was my first time in Himekidaira, and there seemed to be quite a lot of pensions (with a few closed here and there). There are quite a few stairs from the parking lot to the entrance, so it might be a little tough if you have heavy luggage. The Room we stayed in was a deluxe twin with an en-suite bath and toilet. From the photos I thought there wouldn’t be a washlet toilet seat, but it was included, which was nice. The Room was spacious, and since it was also a corner room, the view surrounded by trees felt very relaxing. The interior design is tasteful and everything is clean. There are two private baths; both are the same size, and we were able to unwind in the soft water of the artificial Onsen. The dinner dining area had even more wonderful decor. Each table has fabric partitions, giving it a semi-private feel. It also helped that each person can choose an all-you-can-drink option for beverages. Just as the Reviews said, every dish was delicious, with more volume than expected. For breakfast you can choose an egg dish, and the bread is thick-cut toast. Several drinks and yogurt are self-serve. In short, we were simply impressed by how stylish and spotless everything throughout the property was. The owner couple were kind as well—it’s easy to see why they have so many repeat guests. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. It’s not somewhere we can visit casually due to the distance, but we’d love to return when traveling in Shinshu again.

This was my second visit to Izumo Taisha, and my first stay at Yunokawa. I chose it for the private bath that can be used anytime. It was a wonderful private bath, and I was very satisfied. For dinner, I ordered Shimane beef. I didn’t know much about it and simply wanted to try something local, but it was incredibly delicious. I was also impressed by how kind every staff member was. I would like to stay at this Hotel again the next time I visit Izumo.

Recently, I had some business in Tokyo and stayed here several times in a row. All the staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also very delicious and gave me energy for the day. The Room was kept very clean, and everything was comfortable. The Hotel is close to the station, with easy access to Tokyo, which is truly convenient and appreciated. When returning from Tokyo, it felt relaxing in a way, and I was able to appreciate the charm of Matsudo City as well. I look forward to staying again.

We stayed on 8/3. It was our first trip to Saga and our first time at Furu-yu Onsen, and we were able to fully enjoy the Onsen and a truly delicious meal. The Facility feels a bit old and historic, but it has been nicely renovated, so we had a comfortable stay. We chose the Saga beef Plan, and both the hot stone grill and shabu-shabu were very tender and delicious. It was also great to dine in a semi-private room while enjoying the view outside. This time we requested the “Crane’s Return of Kindness Plan,” and the staff kindly accommodated us. The finished video turned out wonderfully, and my wife was so moved that she has watched it many times since we got home. They gladly responded to our requests and even suggested a surprise plan, for which we are very grateful. Furu-yu Onsen itself doesn’t seem very well known, which felt a little quiet, but it’s such a great Onsen that I’d like to recommend it to others as well. Right now, it’s especially recommended thanks to the Kingdom collaboration!

We stayed here after visiting Universal Studios Japan. 4 adults: 69,000 yen. No BBQ, breakfast only. Since the park was open past 10 pm, we arrived at 11 pm and basically just slept. The place was spacious and the heating was warm (there were three heaters, but we only needed one). It was also nice to have two sinks. A few small issues: we found hair on the bedding in two spots, and although there were four adults, there were only three coffee packets provided. (There were about ten packets of sugar and creamer… compared to just three coffees.) I also wish there had been tea bags. Not everyone drinks coffee, so it would be nice to have a drink option for both morning and night. As for breakfast, the hamburger was very filling—honestly a bit too heavy for older guests. Also, some people can’t eat meat, so it would be great to have non-meat options. The juice choice was apple juice only. Maybe because of the heating, the futons felt quite thin. We brought our own blankets, so it worked out. It was pitch-dark at night, but when we woke up in the morning, the view was beautiful. Overall we were satisfied. It felt like a waste to stay somewhere this nice just to sleep—next time we’d like to try the BBQ as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed for three nights on a family trip. We were soothed by the staff’s wonderful smiles and warm hospitality. Above all, the meals each day were outstanding. Dinner featured fresh sashimi and abalone, carefully prepared small side dishes and simmered items, melt-in-your-mouth Iki beef, sea bream rice, and delicious white rice—everything was deeply satisfying. The menu changed daily, making it a truly luxurious experience. Breakfast was also full of dishes that went perfectly with rice and gave us great energy for the day. Right next to the Accommodation is Iki Airport. You can watch planes land up close in the morning and evening. There is also a beach directly below the Accommodation; the water clarity was excellent, there was no litter, and our children could play safely. The futons in our Room had thick mattresses layered double, so even in a Japanese-style room we slept comfortably like on a bed and could rest well. The bath water quality was great too—it left our skin feeling smooth. This is an Accommodation I highly recommend. We would love to stay again when we visit Iki.

This was my first time staying at an Accommodation at Zenkoji Temple. The Buddhist vegetarian cuisine was delicious, the Room was spacious and well equipped with amenities, and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I also joined the Zenkoji morning worship tour the next day; the explanations were very thorough, and I could truly feel their deep devotion to faith in Zenkoji. It was a wonderful stay and worship experience.

We had a wonderful time with our beloved dog, Hana! The bath was great! Dinner was very filling!! Breakfast was delicious too!!! We’ll definitely stay again.

It was an Accommodation that became a wonderful memory for our wedding anniversary trip. Special Room “Kumo” We enjoyed a delicious meal at the counter seats, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent—we could soak while watching the fishing lights.
