The staff were kind, and the Room was comfortable. It was also conveniently close to the station. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

I was able to relax, and the location right in front of the station was excellent. It was great that the massage chair was free to use.

I needed to extend my stay at short notice for work, so I chose this Hotel because it seemed to have good access from Niigata Station. The Hotel is located in a quiet residential area near the tracks in front of the station, and it has a calm atmosphere. The front desk staff were very kind, and the Hotel has a unique, nostalgic feel. The Room was spacious enough, and the bed was double-sized and very comfortable to sleep in. The Facility is simple with nothing unnecessary. Although it does show some age, the Room was clean and comfortable. In the morning, you can pick up two pieces of bread and a drink as a light breakfast at the front desk. There were about five different kinds of bread to choose from. The drinks were black coffee, coffee with sugar and milk, grape juice, and apple juice. It felt reassuring—almost like being at home—and I was able to rest very comfortably. I think it’s a wonderful Hotel that you can use without hesitation when stopping by Niigata. Thank you!

This hotel is a short walk from Ueno Station (about 5–6 minutes). It’s quiet and reliable overall, with a very good room size and comfortable bedding. They offer luggage storage until the next day, and the front desk staff are professional with good English. Overall, I think it ranks among the best hotels in Ueno. After comparing multiple booking sites, Ikyu offered the best value.

Great service! The staff's service was excellent! I was able to have a very nice day. Thank you!

We revisited with the much-anticipated Sushi Plan that we decided to try after being impressed by the view from the room last time! The cuisine exceeded our expectations—luxurious and delicious, it was absolutely worth it. While preparing meals ourselves is fun, enjoying professional flavors in a private space is truly exceptional. Once again, it was just the two of us staying, so the room felt incredibly spacious (laughs), but every corner was impeccably clean and exuded a sense of freshness. With this level of cleanliness, I’m sure even large family trips or group visits would be enjoyable for everyone. This was our second time using the unmanned check-in system, and it went smoothly. We had such a relaxing stay again! Next time, we’d love to bring along more people for an even bigger gathering!

This Hotel, being part of a chain, ensures consistent services even in rural areas, providing satisfaction.

The Room was clean and well maintained. The bed height and firmness were perfect for me. There was only a shower, but it was an overhead-style shower and felt great. However, the adjacent Onsen Facility was unavailable that day due to a mechanical issue, which was disappointing. So I’d rate the bath 3 stars. I think this is a Hotel I’d be happy to stay at for a Multiple Night Stay.

This is my second stay. The food is excellent, and at night it feels like a festival—such a fun place to stay.

This is by no means a new Hotel. The interior still has a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, and I really loved that. Even though it’s an older building, it’s well maintained and clean throughout, with a calming feel. Unlike modern Hotels, there’s a special charm in enjoying the experience of staying at a classic, traditional Hotel. The breakfast was also excellent. It isn’t flashy, but you can tell it’s carefully prepared, and it made for a wonderful start to the day. I also heard this Hotel has been used as a filming location for TV dramas and movies. There are photos related to past shoots inside, and I found myself thinking, “Now I see why they chose this place.” It may not be the best fit for those looking for something new and stylish. But for anyone who wants to relax in a well-kept Accommodation while enjoying that nostalgic Showa vibe, I think it’s a truly charming Hotel. When I come back to Hakuba, this is an Accommodation I’d happily stay at again.

The hot springs were a great value—you can enjoy the baths in the hotel as well as the adjacent day-use hot spring facility, so I went in many times! The “one-person” sashimi boat platter didn’t look like much in the photos (sorry for my assumption), but it was easily enough for 2–3 people. At this price, all I can say is “amazing”! The Tsuyahime rice cooked in a pot was also delicious; combined with being freshly cooked, the rice was beautifully glossy. Of course, Tsuyahime was served at breakfast too—I even had seconds. I also visited by motorcycle, and they guided me to a covered area by the eaves, so it felt safe even if it rained. (It’s at the back and they will show you.) Even when I contacted them by email, they replied with detailed information and completely put my mind at ease. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

I stayed here five years ago and had the chance to return again this time. With restaurants and a supermarket just a 1-minute walk away, the location was perfect for dining. The included breakfast was also a great perk—I could eat my fill from the morning. The room was clean as well—excellent! I would love to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed one night as a couple in a non-smoking Queen Room. The Room had a shower, and the large public bath on the 1st floor was uncrowded and very comfortable. Since our Room faced south, it was bright and spacious enough for us. The free coffee on the 1st floor was excellent, and we enjoyed it many times. The staff were very kind and pleasant. For dinner, we went to the nearby sushi kappo restaurant “Yashio,” where the sashimi, miso soup with rockfish (arakabu), and kibinago tempura were outstanding (set meals are available until 7:00 p.m.). We would definitely like to stay here again next time we visit Fukue. Also, we didn’t realize this Hotel offers rental bicycles, so we rented an electric-assist city bike from the tourist association at Fukue Port. It was rusty, worn out, and poorly maintained—so much so that it stopped even on gentle downhill slopes. We highly recommend using this Hotel’s newer rental bicycles instead.

When I called to let them know I would be checking in late, they were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, and the view really felt like Hakone. Although my stay was short, it was very comfortable! The bath was also excellent!

Every Hotel is different, and so is every staff member, but during my Multiple Night Stay, when I gave my Room number to receive the key, one staff member didn’t say a word or make eye contact and handed it over as if throwing it rather than passing it to me properly. I understand they were busy and kept looking at their computer the whole time, but some people come across as very unpleasant. It stood out even more because a part-time worker at a nearby place I stopped by beforehand was very friendly. When I get back to the office, I’ll tell them we should switch Hotels.

While looking for a place on short notice for sightseeing in Ikaho Onsen, I chose this Accommodation because I wanted somewhere that wasn’t a large Hotel or Ryokan. Since the price was reasonable, I didn’t have high expectations, but the welcome on arrival and the atmosphere in the lobby were lovely, and I’m glad I stayed. Although the staff’s service was a bit inexperienced, everyone worked very hard—people you can’t help but want to cheer for. It was also nice to be able to choose a yukata pattern. The mountain views from the Room were wonderful. The Onsen was practically private every time, so I could relax at my own pace. Dinner was served in a private room; each dish had thoughtful presentation that was enjoyable to look at, and everything tasted great. After bathing, I bought ice cream at the shop—the strawberry flavor was especially delicious. The maitake mushrooms at breakfast were amazing as well. If I have another chance to visit Ikaho, I definitely want to stay here again.

The location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the station exit. The exterior has a retro Showa-era feel, but the Room was very clean. You can see the view in front of the station from the Room. Above all, the front desk staff member was very friendly and helpful. It was reasonably priced, and I was very satisfied.

I used this property when traveling from Hyogo to Kanagawa. Since it is near the Kasai Interchange, I took a break at R9 before departing late at night. Check-in is easy, and you can check out easily and be on your way. It seemed new and was very clean. I had a very positive impression. I thought it would be nice to have USB ports, etc. The front desk staff were also kind and attentive.

I stayed here on a spontaneous one-night trip to eat Matsusaka beef. For No Meals Included, I think this is truly all you need. The parking lot is spacious enough for one car per Room, and it’s also appealing that you can park almost right in front of your Room. I’d like to stay at another HOTEL R9 The Yard again.

I stayed here with my mother and family.\nWe had a young child with us, and they were thrilled with the kids’ meal!! Maybe because it was a weekday, it wasn’t crowded, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time. It was wonderful—we’d love to come again.\nThank you very much to all the staff.
