This was my first time staying here. The rate was JPY 10,000 per person for one night with two meals (JPY 20,000 for two people). The room was a fairly spacious twin, and we were able to relax comfortably. We were also satisfied with the meals. If I have the chance, I would like to stay again. The bath is available from 10:00 after check-out the next day, so we could only use it on the previous day. It would have been nice if it had been open from the morning as well.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. Thank you very much.

The natural Onsen spring water was available and very relaxing. The washing area also had ReFa showerheads, and the fine bubbles made washing my face feel great. The cake buffet was enjoyable as well, with cakes and Japanese sweets such as arare rice crackers and mitarashi dango, plus many kinds of drinks.

This time, when I arrived and headed to the self check-in machine, a female staff member stopped me before I touched it and asked for my name. As I was getting my phone ready so the QR code could be scanned right away, she looked at my screen without saying anything and touched my phone. It may have been just my misunderstanding, but it felt a bit intimidating. After that, I couldn’t clearly hear what someone behind the front desk said—something like “day use,” maybe—but they let me use the machine anyway, as if to say it was fine.

Although we were informed that the Room air conditioning is centrally controlled throughout the building, it was a little cold. Due to the typhoon, it suddenly became cooler, so it couldn’t be helped, but it finally warmed up by early morning.

I was very satisfied to be able to fully enjoy a generous selection of premium seafood that I don’t often get to eat, such as crab, abalone, scallops, sashimi, and shrimp.

I like the spacious Room in the main building. The bath and toilet are separate as well. However, despite the quiet surroundings, the air conditioner noise is strangely loud, and sensitive guests may not be able to sleep. Shoes are not allowed indoors, so especially in summer it feels uncomfortable unless you bring your own slippers. Socks also get dirty. It was disappointing that the Pac-Man arcade machine on the 3rd floor was not working. I had breakfast for the first time in a while and it was good. There is quite a luxurious variety of dishes. I would like to know the dining hours on the 2nd floor.

We stayed here at the beginning of the Obon holiday during summer vacation. It’s close to the station and very convenient—recommended whether you’re traveling by car or train. For visiting Hakone-Yumoto Station or Owakudani, I think it’s best to use this place as a base and get around by public transportation. Parking near stations is expensive, and the parking lot at Owakudani gets extremely congested, which is a waste of time. It felt like there were many families staying here. The building is old overall, but there were no particular issues. If I had to mention something, the toilet/bath unit was small and dated. Also, the toothbrush was very soft and flimsy. Meals are served buffet-style with assigned time slots. It didn’t feel overly crowded; it was about what I expected. The food quality was average or better. For those who drink alcohol, there’s no problem at all—I was impressed by the draft beer dispenser that pours from below. The bath is a bit small, but the temperature was just right, and the shower pressure was strong. From the open-air bath, I could faintly see a train passing in front through the trees and plants. There was also a stick insect in the open-air bath—I saw one for the first time ever. I’d like to stay here again.

On the day of our stay, the parking lot was full, so we had to park quite far from the Hotel and arrived around 5:30 PM—about an hour later than planned. At check-in, the 6 PM and 7 PM dinner slots were already fully booked, so we ended up dining at 8 PM. Breakfast slots at 7 AM and 8 AM were also full, so ours was at 9 AM. Since we had time before dinner, it was nice to use the bath first and relax. However, if you want to choose your meal times, arriving as early as possible is recommended. The large public bath had an open-air bath and a sauna (we didn’t use the sauna). There were no partitions between washing stations, but the sinks and changing area felt clean and comfortable. Near the front desk on the first floor, there were karaoke rooms, table tennis, an arcade area, a manga corner, massage chairs, and more. This time we used karaoke for one hour. There were seven rooms in total, and our family enjoyed it without any issues. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and carts for carrying trays were available—which was convenient. Dinner included crispy shrimp tempura as well as sushi and sashimi. On the other hand, there weren’t many side dishes that go well with rice, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast did have plenty of rice-friendly options with a good variety overall, so we really enjoyed it. This time five of us stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. The Room was surprisingly spacious; all Rooms are shoes-off only inside (no outdoor shoes), which made it very comfortable to use. There was a sofa and table in the center where we played UNO together as a family. We were extremely satisfied with the Room—it became a wonderful family travel memory for us.

Unlimited free access to the game arcade, table tennis, Go and shogi, karaoke, and more. It felt like I finally had time to relax again after a long while, and I made wonderful memories. The shared karaoke turned into a nostalgic sing-off of classic Japanese songs, and I truly enjoyed the fun, one-time-only atmosphere with people I had just met. Thank you very much!

Because it’s a private whole-house rental, we were able to use the space comfortably and spaciously. Everything you need is provided—from knives to glasses to plates—so it’s convenient that you can travel light and just bring food and ingredients. Check-in was easy at the unmanned reception building, and check-out can be done from your smartphone. The open-air Onsen and sauna were also easy to use, and we used them many times during our stay. There is also a standing ashtray on the terrace, which smokers will appreciate; I enjoyed having a beer while looking at Mt. Fuji and taking a relaxing smoke break. Since the building faces Lake Kawaguchi directly, it was disappointing that Mt. Fuji cannot be seen from the open-air bath or the sauna. However, you can see Mt. Fuji from the terrace and from the bed by the window in the second-floor bedroom. If you want an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji, the dome-shaped tents at Gran Farm next door might be a better choice. Also, while the sauna room is spacious enough for two people comfortably, the entrance is narrow with a step at your feet, so please take care when entering and exiting. I felt this Facility is perfect for relaxing without thinking about anything and simply enjoying time passing by. Although we stayed in a Sweet Villa, nearby houses are fairly visible; if you close both sets of privacy curtains (vertical and horizontal) around the open-air bath area, you won’t need to worry about being seen.

We stayed in mid-April 2026. The meals were very satisfying, with a wide variety of dishes and generous portions. For wine, there were several half-bottle options, which we appreciated since a full bottle is too much for us to finish. Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and even recommended spots with great views of Mt. Fuji. It’s hard to deny that the building and Facility are old. Those who want to relax without leaving the Accommodation may find it lacking, but for us—just eating, taking a bath, and sleeping—it felt like excellent value for money.

This was my second stay this year. The soothing aroma and the beautiful view from the window make this a truly relaxing Hotel. As a returning guest, they kindly prepared a large mango shaved ice for me, and I enjoyed a luxurious time watching the sunset. The location is great, making it easy to go out for dinner, visit dessert spots, or take a walk to nearby Painagama Beach. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The souvenir corner offered a variety of adorable items, and I couldn't resist purchasing some. The Room was comfortable and provided a pleasant stay. The meals, made with local ingredients, were absolutely delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the crowd made it feel rushed as we had to line up for everything.

Conveniently located in front of the station, and the check-in process was simple and very smooth. The Room was well cleaned and spotless. The bathroom isn’t large, but it offers great value for money. Breakfast is not a buffet, so you can enjoy it calmly without any rush. They also provided clean, eco-friendly disposable wooden chopsticks (carbon-neutral) instead of the cheap, unhygienic petroleum-based plastic chopsticks often found at budget chains, and the female staff member was attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a high-quality Hotel that exceeded its price.

Since it was a weekday, we were able to enjoy the Onsen almost as if it were private, and the water temperature was perfect—wonderful. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right; we were very satisfied. Many of the staff were pleasant as well, and we would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I needed to stay overnight with my son on short notice, so I looked for a twin room. It was No Meals Included, but we were more than satisfied. The bathroom is a unit bath, but it’s a newer type and slightly more spacious. There are convenience stores and AEON right in front of the property. There are several nearby parking lots, with a maximum fee of 600 yen. The staff were also kind.

The building feels a bit dated, but the Onsen was excellent. The location was great, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. The sauna and cold plunge were fantastic. We were able to relax together with our pet dog as well. The meals were delicious.

I stayed for two nights. I was a bit worried after reading various Reviews, but... The streetcar stop is right in front, and it’s easy to get here from Okayama Station. The staff were courteous, and there were no issues with the amenities or the Room. There is a large public bath, and with dinner and breakfast plus a drink bar included, I was very satisfied with the service. I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
