It’s a great hotel. I stay here often. This is just my personal preference, but I like having sausages at breakfast, and if possible, I’d love it if bacon were available as well. That said, it’s truly a wonderful hotel that I can recommend to friends. I’ll be staying again next month.

We stayed in the urara twin Room during our Obon trip. The ohagi served in the lounge was outstanding! There was a great variety of drinks, and it made us want to come back again and again. In addition to alcohol, we were also happy that we could make an Oropo after the sauna. For dinner, when we mentioned that we wanted to go to Natsu Akari Road after the meal, they served everything quickly, which was a big help. Everything was delicious, but the sashimi platter left the strongest impression. We would love to stay with you again next year. We’re already looking forward to it.

The staff’s courteous greetings, thoughtful attention to detail, and genuinely caring words were truly wonderful. In today’s Ryokan industry, where efficiency and flashy services are increasingly common, this Accommodation perfectly delivered—at a remarkably high level—exactly what I look for in a Ryokan. The Onsen and the Room were flawless, and the cuisine was delicious with delightful surprises. I also enjoyed being able to drink the Onsen water, and it was fun to admire the flowers arranged throughout the property. This has become an Accommodation I would definitely love to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

A friend told me last year that the Suzuka Circuit pool was great, so we stayed thinking we’d be tired after spending the day at the pool. The Hotel is conveniently located—it's close from the parking lot to the entrance, and there are shuttle buses inside, so it’s easy to get to the baths, restaurants, and front desk. The pool itself was excellent, with a variety of areas for everyone from small children to adults, and there are plenty of shops as well. The staff were also very helpful. We even bought tickets again the next day and went around the attractions. Our child will be three next year, so we’d like to come back again.

I booked expecting something like a typical business hotel near the station, but the room was more spacious than I anticipated, and the hotel was very clean, including the bathroom. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and when we arrived, our room had been upgraded. 　It was a corner room on the 8th floor with an amazing view of Matsumoto Castle right in front of us. The room was spacious, and the bed was a luxurious canopy bed. It was very comfortable. 　The breakfast venue was also gorgeous, set in the former Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank building with chandeliers. While there weren’t many items, each dish used carefully selected local ingredients and everything was delicious. I especially loved the salad dressing (wasabi soy sauce dressing). When I asked a staff member about it, someone knowledgeable came over and shared detailed information about the shop. That staff member also told us various things about Azumino—such as roadside stations we planned to visit that day and local specialties—so we had a really enjoyable conversation. One of the best parts of traveling is interacting with local people, so I’m glad we were able to talk about so many things. The only downside was that one corner of the sofa armrest in the room was torn, which was disappointing.

This was my second stay this year. My supervisor joined me this time, and they were satisfied, including with the meals. My next stay is planned for about two months from now. I would like to stay here again.

Very conveniently located for sightseeing. Kenrokuen Garden, Omicho Market, the Samurai District, Kanazawa Castle, and the Higashi Chaya District are all nearby, making it easy to explore efficiently. The staff were kind, and the large public bath helped relieve my fatigue. Breakfast was delicious, and I also enjoyed the local specialties.

I have stayed at a wide range of Hotels throughout The whole country, from budget Hotels to luxury Hotels, and among Hotels in this price range, this one is without a doubt No. 1 in terms of hospitality and dinner. The quality you get for this Accommodation Fee is truly outstanding. [What I liked] Hospitality & service: As attentive as a luxury Hotel. Not only the front desk staff, but also the housekeeping staff greeted me politely and elegantly when we passed in the hallway, which made my stay very comfortable. Dinner: The bento prepared after ordering was freshly made, extremely delicious, and generous in variety—I was very satisfied! Room & cleanliness: The Room and unit bath were kept clean and comfortable. The restaurant at the breakfast venue also felt very clean. (Breakfast itself felt like a standard buffet.) [What I noticed] I was slightly bothered by the smell of the sanitized cups. Wi-Fi: To be honest, the Wi-Fi connection was unstable and not usable. I strongly recommend that future guests prepare pocket Wi-Fi or mobile data. There were only a few minor points I noticed, but they were far outweighed by the excellent hospitality and dinner quality. I would definitely like to stay here again!

Used for one night during a trip around Tohoku. I booked at a great price and honestly didn’t expect much, but the value for money was outstanding—I was truly impressed. The room felt a bit dated, but it was kept very clean and was spacious enough to be comfortable. I also loved the ocean view at sunrise. What really stood out was the buffet. They offered plenty of local specialties such as Morioka reimen, wanko soba, and imoni, and the roast beef was authentic. Not only Japanese dishes but also Western and Chinese options—an incredible variety with so many choices. Lots of desserts too! There was even a chocolate fountain that kids would love, and the fruit quality was excellent. Everything tasted delicious—truly wonderful. The all-you-can-drink alcohol selection was also extensive; it almost made me worry whether they can make a profit with this price for one night with two meals included. Breakfast was just as fantastic. The buffet layout is refined and uncluttered as well. I’ve stayed in many places, but this buffet is better than that of certain members-only resort hotels. It really reminded me that hospitality matters more than facilities. It’s lively with what seem to be repeat guests from nearby prefectures, yet they don’t appear to overbook beyond their capacity—the service is attentive throughout. It’s a shame it’s too far for me to visit often. I’m honestly jealous of those who live nearby. A family trip here would be guaranteed to satisfy everyone.

My long-awaited trip to Ibusuki finally came true, and I had the pleasure of staying at Ibusuki Shusuien. Everything was outstanding: the warm and attentive service from the staff, the historic atmosphere of this long-established Ryokan, spotless guest rooms, free-flowing Onsen straight from the source, and delicious meals. (I’ve stayed at a few Hotels on my limited travels, but this became an unforgettable Ryokan for me.) It was so wonderful that I honestly wondered if someone as young as me deserved to stay at such a great Ryokan. My only regret is that I felt unwell during my stay and couldn’t finish my meal. (I truly feel terrible about it...) Please let me make up for it when I stay again...! I’m still savoring the afterglow of what was, even understatedly, an incredible stay—and I feel like other Hotels might pale in comparison (lol). It was truly a luxurious time. If you ever visit Ibusuki, please do yourself a favor and stay here. I’ll say it again: it’s amazing!

Looking to relax, I searched for a place offering in-room dining and a private open-air bath, and found Bessho Sasa. After leaving my car with them, I was promptly shown to my room, checked in there, and after only the essential guidance, I was able to unwind in the spacious room. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great and I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji at all, but the service was excellent. The grounds were also expansive, and if the weather had been better I would have liked to explore more. Check-out could be completed at a dedicated Sasa counter as well—an exceptionally smooth service that didn’t inconvenience guests at all. I’d love to return again in a different season.

I had booked for June and was really looking forward to it, but due to flight cancellations caused by a typhoon I couldn’t make it (thank you again for your very kind and thoughtful support at that time). I’m truly glad I was able to visit this October. It’s already autumn where we live, but Okinawa still felt like summer, with cicadas singing—so we could enjoy a late summer vacation. We checked in late, but because the private pool and jacuzzi were pleasantly warm even at night, we were able to relax and enjoy both at our own pace. The morning pool was also wonderful—the landscaping was beautiful, and the scent of shell ginger was so soothing. The room had a microwave, washing machine, refrigerator, and a hot/cold water dispenser, which was very convenient. We also appreciated the drip coffee provided; it would be even nicer if there were Okinawa-style tea bags such as bitter melon tea, turmeric tea, or jasmine tea. The staff were very kind as well. When we mentioned we were going to Kaichu Road, they recommended soft-serve ice cream at the Nuchima-su factory and Kafu Banta. The two-tone blue-and-white soft serve looked beautiful and tasted great with its salty flavor—and the view there was amazing. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

The Room had a wonderful atmosphere and was very clean! The loungewear was also very comfortable—excellent! Since it is free-flowing hot spring water, the bath temperature was around 43°C and too hot for our child to soak in, which was a bit disappointing. But other than that, we have no complaints.

I stayed in one of the renovated rooms, and it was outstanding. The open-air bath and the view were wonderful, and we enjoyed a delicious meal in a fantastic atmosphere with exceptional hospitality. This is an inn well worth coming to Ibusuki for on its own. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Reservation with a Room-assigned Plan Although I stayed solo, I was upgraded to a spacious twin Room, which was extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities—shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were all from KNOLL—which was a big plus for me.

Japanese-style double Room with breakfast and dinner included. I also requested a pick-up from Yamagata Station. On the way back, I took the bus to Yamagata Station from the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, just a few minutes’ walk away. I arrived early, but was able to leave my luggage and explore freely. The staff member who assisted me felt unexpectedly curt, which seemed different from the Reviews. The person who showed me to my Room also didn’t seem to notice a fairly large dead insect right by the door when it was opened. That was disappointing. I was very satisfied with the Room, meals, and baths. The entire building is covered with tatami mats and you take off your shoes, which feels great, and everything was well maintained. All staff were pleasant in both their service and greetings. Since the baths switch between men and women, you can use both areas; I enjoyed the warm feel of wood and traditional atmosphere. Some Reviews said it was small, but as a woman I didn’t find it cramped since there weren’t too many people using it at once. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I finished everything. The Yamagata beef shabu-shabu was truly excellent. There is a portable air conditioner in the Room (I think), but because its duct runs out through the window, the top of the window doesn’t close completely tight; I couldn’t help noticing that gap. I saw a similar setup in the lounge as well, so I assumed it’s installed as a measure against summer heat. There is no elevator—only stairs—which I actually liked very much. Around this time of year we could hear spring cicadas (maybe), which was soothing. From the entrance you can see a gentle slope leading down to the main road, along with steam rising from the Onsen—an impressive location. It’s a small but comfortable Accommodation with a warm atmosphere—thank you very much.

If you’re looking for a quiet Hotel where you can sleep well, JR Inn is the one. The lockers for storing luggage before and after your stay are located right near the entrance, which is helpful because you don’t have to go through the lobby. It’s also great that the Room has a bathtub where you can soak and relax. It’s nice that the amenities include bath salts, and I especially appreciate that the skincare products are Sekkisei. Having a trouser press permanently in the Room is also a plus. There’s a wide selection of pillows to choose from, and with an upgraded Simmons bed, I slept very well. Breakfast may be light, but it’s impressive: different breads each day, three kinds of soup, hygienic single-serve cups of potato salad, individually wrapped Hokkaido Camembert cheese, and even yogurt and milk pudding for dessert. Perhaps because it’s a light meal service, the breakfast area is quiet too, which feels relaxing. However, I noticed a yellow stain on the pillow I chose. I’d also like the refrigerator to be pre-chilled.

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the shrine I was visiting and had a separate bath and toilet. The room was, of course, very clean with no noticeable odors, and since I booked it to relax in the bath, I was happy that the bathroom was spotless (and the bathtub was a good size). I also felt the staff were very attentive in every detail—both in the room and in their service—and I’m glad I could stay at this price. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast was also delicious! Thank you to all the staff; I’d love to stay again if I have another chance.

A new Hotel close to the station. The bed was Simmons and very comfortable. I was thirsty, so I enjoyed a welcome drink of coffee and Earl Grey tea using the electric kettle in the Room. The amenities were well-prepared, and above all, the Room felt clean and pleasant. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the shower water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was also satisfying; the grilled mackerel with salt was hot and delicious. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Okazaki!
