I visited during the rainy season, a time I don’t usually choose. Both dinner and breakfast featured exquisite dishes that felt refreshingly cool to the eye and captured the early-summer atmosphere, lifting the gloom of the rainy skies. What makes this Accommodation truly exceptional is being able to enjoy outstanding cuisine at any time, thoughtfully crafted to reflect the season through sight, aroma, and taste. I also deeply appreciate the warm, friendly hospitality shown by all of the staff.

The staff’s attentive hospitality and thoughtful care were truly wonderful, and I was able to spend a very comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The interior of the property and the room features a calm Japanese-modern design in greige tones, with impeccable taste in decor. It was exactly my kind of style, so I found myself simply gazing around and feeling soothed. The rooftop lounge offered an abundant selection of juices, alcoholic drinks, coffee, Atami’s famous sweets, and light snacks. I couldn’t believe I could choose so freely—can I really have any of these?—and I got genuinely excited. Sipping drinks, enjoying sweets, soaking in the foot bath… it was such a luxurious time taking in the views of Atami. The staff also maintained the perfect level of attentiveness—providing towels to dry our feet and preparing drinks—so considerate in every way. I’m truly grateful. What especially impressed me was the full-course dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented—not only a feast for the eyes—but also had deep flavors with sauces crafted down to the finest detail. I was genuinely moved. Even now, looking back at my photos brings back that lingering feeling: how beautiful it was and how delicious everything tasted. Everything—the room, the meals, and the hospitality—was perfect. It was a place where I could truly refresh from the heart. I feel fully recharged; I’ll do my best day by day and hope to return again someday. Thank you very much.

All staff members who supported us were incredibly hospitable, and it made our trip truly wonderful. Our whole family was very satisfied—thank you! The facilities were up to date, and the security was excellent. The Ryokan was also very clean and hygienic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicately and elegantly seasoned, everything was fresh, and we enjoyed every dish—it was all delicious. This is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at again! Thank you as well for preparing surprise plates for us on two consecutive days!

Everything in the hotel was spotless, the meals were delicious, the hot spring water was exceptional, and the view from our room was stunning. Above all, we were truly moved by the warm hospitality of the staff. Not only did we complete the Jomon Sugi trek, but thanks to our stay here, our trip to Yakushima became an unforgettable memory. I stayed here last year and had such a wonderful experience that I decided to return again this time. Once again, my expectations were fully met. I was satisfied with everything—the Room, the meals, and the service—and was able to enjoy a truly relaxing stay. I had dinner at the counter seats, and it was an especially luxurious moment to enjoy the meal while watching a beautiful sunset. The chef’s personality was also wonderful, and I had a great time chatting about various topics throughout the evening. Last time, there were sushi refills during dinner, so I assumed it would be the same concept this time as well. However, this time the menu was thoughtfully arranged in a different way. While there were no sushi refills, sushi was served several times between courses, which made for an enjoyable experience with a different style from last time. Every dish was delicious and highly satisfying. Overall, I felt comfortable throughout my stay and am very pleased. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay here again. My spouse and I stayed for one night. It would have been even better if our Room had a sofa, but the bath was indoors and an Onsen, already filled for us. The staff member who guided us also provided a thorough and helpful explanation. The meals were wonderful both dinner and breakfast, and we truly felt pampered. Since we dined in a private room, we couldn’t eat while looking out at the sea, which was the only disappointment. We have stayed at many Hotels, but this had the best food of all. We happened to visit Shimonoseki this time and found this Hotel by chance, but next time we will travel specifically to stay here.

This was our second stay. Once again, we were able to fully relax and enjoy the hot springs at a leisurely pace in a room with an open-air bath. As always, both dinner and breakfast were delicious (we especially loved the five small varieties of dried fish at breakfast—our family prefers that over being served one large piece). The staff were warm and attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. Because we like this inn so much, this time I brought my elderly father and my sister who lives in the city. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, and I was happy that both of them enjoyed it as well. During our meal, a new staff member with a beginner’s badge served us with great effort; their fresh yet polite manner left a wonderful impression. We look forward to seeing their continued growth. A luxurious Facility where extraordinary koi swim. We were able to enjoy a sand bath, a ceramic bath experience, and a private open-air bath at no additional charge. All staff were kind and provided attentive service. The Japanese cuisine served at the Yakusugi cedar counter was exquisite, with tropical fruits used throughout that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. The entire property was spotless and impeccably maintained, and the star-filled sky we gazed at late at night from the free-flowing natural hot spring open-air bath in our room was beyond words.

There are large TVs in both the bedroom and the living room, and my mother was thrilled to be able to watch the Asian Games!! We were truly impressed by how thoughtfully everything was arranged—down to the TV placement and easy-to-use amenities—as if our movements had been anticipated in advance. After a 4-hour journey, staying at this Accommodation made all our fatigue disappear! Breakfast was also amazing—they cooked tamagoyaki fresh on the spot, and it was incredibly delicious. The bath was great too, so we slept soundly that night. We’ll be back.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

On a whim, we decided to take a refreshing getaway and made a same-day Reservation at Nampuro, which we’d been curious about for some time. It was our first trip in a while, and while we were excited, we tried not to set our expectations too high when we checked in—but the moment we stepped inside, our excitement just kept growing! We stayed in Grand Oceans, and from the instant we got off the elevator—seeing the wide selection of drinks and light snacks—and walked down the beautifully atmospheric hallway, then opened the door to our room… everything was amazing. One “This is incredible!” after another. A bath with an ocean view, delicious meals, relaxing in the room with drinks—it was exactly the refreshing trip we had been looking for. Since it was raining, it wasn’t quite a breathtaking view this time, but we found ourselves saying, “Next time let’s come when it’s sunny,” and ended up promising each other another stay! Thank you for such a wonderful time. We’ll be back!!

The three of us—my spouse, my sister, and I—had a relaxing stay. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was at a comfortable temperature, so we enjoyed soaking many times while looking out at the sea. Though it is a small inn, everything was perfectly arranged with nothing lacking—truly wonderful. The hot spring was always at the ideal temperature no matter when we entered; thank you to the bath attendant. Thank you as well for kindly accommodating our requests. I was satisfied with everything. The dishes made with olive oil were delicious, and the room with a view of the calm sea was wonderful. Shodoshima is famous for its stone, and it is used generously throughout the island. It doesn’t feel cold; instead, it feels warm and comforting. The staff greeted us with smiles, and it was an inn that made us think, even before checkout, “We want to come back.”

This was my second stay—last time with my family, and this time with my mother and siblings. The ocean is right in front of you, the Room is spacious, and the hot spring source is just behind the property. The number of dishes, the staff’s service, and everything about the Onsen—its quality, cleanliness, and variety—are all just right. It’s a truly wonderful Accommodation. It seems like New Year’s holidays are decided by lottery, but I’m hoping we get selected.

I visited with my 16-year-old Shiba Inu. With a private open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing water, a private dog run, and delicious meals, it had everything we could ask for and we were able to relax completely. The outdoor dog run and the path leading to it are neatly maintained with wood chips, and everyone at the inn was very kind to our dog—it was a wonderful, truly dog-friendly place to stay.

My spouse and I stayed here as a couple. This time, the private open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water left the strongest impression—relaxing while gazing out at the sea felt truly luxurious. The breathtaking view overlooking Dogashima was also wonderful, and we felt soothed throughout our stay. The meals were a creative Japanese-Western kaiseki course featuring plenty of seasonal ingredients, and every dish was delicious, making dinner even more special. We were also very satisfied with the three-tiered breakfast box, which we could enjoy at a leisurely pace. Spending time in the private relaxation room was comfortable as well—perfect for unwinding together. Above all, we are always comforted by the warm hospitality of the staff. Their thoughtful attention to detail made our stay extremely pleasant. This is a lovely inn that makes us want to return again—highly recommended.

Located by the harbor, the detached guest Room was quiet and relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable. The cuisine was excellent and truly enjoyable, starting with deep-fried tuna collar. We could also feel the staff’s attentiveness, and we had a pleasant stay.
