Hotel Misono

A Hotel where you take off your shoes at the entrance and stay that way throughout.The hallway in front of the Room felt more like a Ryokan than a typical Hotel. The staff were very kind and provided courteous service. There was an amenity corner next to the elevator on the first floor, and it was very well stocked. I was happy to find George Steuart Tea flavored tea bags there. The twin-bed Room was very spacious. The air conditioning wasn’t very effective and didn’t cool the entire Room, so we used a fan to circulate the air.The Onsen was also relaxing, and the shower head was a ReFa model. The hair dryers were Dyson and ReFa as well. There was also ice cream after bathing.I wasn’t expecting much, but I had a very comfortable stay! I’d like to use this place again when I visit Wakkanai.

I visited Wakkanai for the first time in a while.The Hotel felt a bit old, but the Room was clean. All necessary amenities were available in the lobby, and for women they provided single-use packets of cleansing oil, face wash, and lotion. They also had slipper socks, one bottle of water per person, drip coffee packs, and a variety of teas—I was really impressed. The Room also came with an electric kettle, phone charging cables, and power cords—nothing to complain about.The bath was a little small, but the water felt wonderfully silky and relaxing.There were several izakayas nearby once you step outside, but it might be better to make a Reservation.At the entrance you take off your shoes; it was a bit crowded around the shoe lockers.I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.
