Hotel Yuou Onsen

On my trip to Yamanashi, I stayed for two nights because I was attracted by the idea of enjoying an Onsen in the Room. The large public bath was enjoyable, with differences in the hot spring water between each tub. However, as others have pointed out, it was disappointing that it cannot be used in the morning. That said, I was very satisfied because I could use the Onsen in my Room at any time. The Facility has a bit of a Showa-era feel, but it wasn’t inconvenient. One downside was that the air conditioner in the Room didn’t work very well, which felt slightly inconvenient during the daytime.

The exterior looks old, but perhaps the Room has been renovated? It was very clean.The floor futon had a Muatsu mattress and was very comfortable. (I was truly happy about this!)The Onsen felt wonderful. The free-flowing natural hot spring water was really great.It has been two days since I got home, and my skin is still moisturized.The jacuzzi in the large public bath is lukewarm, so I could soak slowly and relax,and late at night and again in the morning, I luxuriously enjoyed a long soak in the Onsen in my Room.The Room’s Onsen was on the hotter side, so I filled the tub using the shower.Surrounded by Onsen mist, I enjoyed it to my heart’s content. Thank you very much.
