Grand Premier Setouchi ~Shikoku Kagawa Resort Glamping & Villa~

We stayed with seven people and one Shiba Inu. The house was spacious, well stocked with amenities, and the kitchen was very comfortable to use. The area was very quiet, and it felt like we had the wide ocean all to ourselves. Fishing for whiting from the concrete pier was fantastic. The sauna was also excellent, and cooling down while looking out at the sea afterward was pure bliss.Kids, adults, and our dog were all very satisfied.

I was looking for pet-friendly glamping to make memories with my beloved dog, who will turn 17 this fall, and found this place. It was just as wonderful as the photos. We stayed with a total of six people—my son and his wife, our two grandchildren, and us grandparents—plus two dogs. Since our Reservation was on a hot day in August, we spent the daytime inside the tent to avoid the heat. Around sunset, we let both dogs off-leash in the private dog run, and they looked so happy running around. Our senior dog can’t really run anymore, so he just wandered about instead. The breeze in the morning and evening felt great.Both breakfast and dinner were more filling than expected and very delicious. The meat was incredibly tender—excellent.A couple of things were a bit disappointing, as mentioned in other Reviews: the toilets and wash area were in the same building as reception, so it felt a little far. Also, there were only two sinks, and because they had sensor faucets, it was hard to get water to run when washing my face, which was frustrating. Since they’re in the same room as the toilets, if several people are using them it can be inconvenient to wait (not terribly long), especially when you just want to wash your hands.One more thing: coffee was served at breakfast. It was an authentic setup where you grind beans yourself and make drip coffee; however, after grinding with the mill there were too many large pieces—as if it wasn’t ground finely enough—so even after dripping it tasted weak and not very good.Other than that, the staff were kind and helpful overall. If possible next time I’d like to stay in a villa.Thank you for taking care of us.
