Ouka no Sato La Foret Shobara

We stayed as a group of four—my older sister, my mother, my aunt, and me—to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday.Thank you for the flowers and message card delivered to our Room.Having photos taken during dinner also became a wonderful keepsake.You even prepared a special outfit for the 60th birthday celebration, which truly warmed our hearts.Since it was a weekday, the baths were not crowded, which was perfect for my elderly mother and aunt.For dinner (we chose a Plan with fewer dishes because two of us are elderly), everything was elegantly seasoned, and there were still enough dishes to leave us completely satisfied.It was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life.In two years, I would like to stay again to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.

I have stayed here several times for memorial services, and this time I stayed to visit my younger sister and grandmother. It used to be a Kanpo no Yado, so when I said, “I’m staying at Kanpo,” it reassured them. The building isn’t new, but the baths were spacious and relaxing. Since the men’s and women’s baths alternate every other day, I was able to enjoy both. The meals are always delicious, and this time as well I was satisfied with both the taste and portion size. The Room had twin beds plus a tatami sitting area, and the bath and toilet were separate, which made it feel very comfortable and spacious. The front desk staff were also very kind, which was wonderful. I’d like to stay here again when I visit my grandmother next time. Thank you very much.
