My child had a great time solving the “Little People” puzzle last month, so we stayed again to try the ninja puzzle. Since it was during the Obon holiday period, it was very lively and crowded. The large public bath in particular was full of excited children. All of the food was delicious, and the welcome sake in the lounge was also excellent. However, it was disappointing that there was a leftover seaweed packet from a previous breakfast on the floor in our Room, and a used paper cup left inside the shoe cabinet for outdoor shoes. It felt like the cleaning wasn’t thorough, and there were even cobwebs around the lighting. In the end, we were able to complete the ninja puzzle successfully, and my child went home satisfied. It was also nice to be able to enjoy things like an evening taiko drum performance and feeding koi fish.

This was my third stay. There’s a lounge in one corner of the hall, and once you check in, guests can relax and enjoy it at their leisure. There were five types of local sake for tasting; Kamikawa was fruity, and even I—who can’t really drink alcohol—thought it was delicious. The mushroom soup was also very tasty. There is also complimentary local sake at dinner, which is irresistible for sake lovers.The front desk staff were Japanese, and their calm, professional hospitality was reassuring. It’s easy to ask questions without hesitation. At dinner, a male staff member from Myanmar who seemed like a chief was very attentive and kind—I was impressed.It was a shame that my favorite wonderful bath on the first floor was only available to me in the morning—I wanted to soak longer. The bath at Choyo Resort that I used for the first time with the Shuttle Service was also great.The food was delicious and the baths were wonderful… one night and two days. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
