Sapporo Hotel Yamachi

The building is old, but it has a wonderful atmosphere and charm. The entrance is spacious and elegant. Everyone at the front desk—both experienced staff and younger staff—was very pleasant, and they greeted us with a smile every time we came and went.Even though it was a smoking Room, there was no unpleasant odor, so it was comfortable.The Room and bathroom areas were also clean.As others have mentioned, the kettle was filled with water. Since it heats the water and then keeps it warm (which must cost electricity), it was really helpful to be able to use hot water at any time.The shampoo amenities were good quality, and the toothbrush wasn’t too hard and was easy to use. They could have cut costs in many ways if they wanted to, but I was impressed that they clearly put guests first.It was also convenient that both the station and the live music venue were nearby. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here several times. The parking lot is behind the Hotel and costs 500 yen, which is a good value. It’s not a new Hotel, but it’s close to the station, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, so I’m satisfied. I’d like to stay here again.
