Forest of the Wind

Our family of three stayed for one night. The building had a sense of history, and there were no inconveniences except that the Room on the second floor was accessible only by stairs. We enjoyed a Japanese dinner. The ingredients were outstanding, and we were able to savor both meat and fish. Breakfast was also very delicious, and we could tell it was carefully handmade. The seasoning was just right, and we were very satisfied. The bath could be used like a private family bath, which actually made it more comfortable than a large public bath. The Room felt newly refreshed, as if it had been properly renovated—everything from the walls and ceiling to the bathroom area was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, making our stay very comfortable. We were able to continue our trip while taking into account the owner’s travel advice as well. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. As always, I was welcomed by the owner’s warm hospitality and enjoyed a relaxing, soothing visit.For the bath, if you hang the “In Use” sign, you can use it privately as many times as you like and take your time. The Room is also spacious, clean, and very comfortable.This time we chose a sushi restaurant for dinner. With the Shuttle Service in a dedicated car, we went to a small sushi restaurant in Mikuni town and enjoyed delicious local ingredients while chatting with the chef about Mikuni’s history and food culture. On my previous two visits I enjoyed Japanese dishes at an izakaya and French cuisine; being able to enjoy different meals each time is one of the pleasures of this Accommodation, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay.
