Hotel Viamare Kobe

I stayed here when attending a concert at GLION ARENA KOBE.It’s conveniently located between Sannomiya Station and the arena, making it easy to get around.The front desk is on the second floor, and I couldn’t find the entrance at first, so I entered from the parking area. The parking staff and someone I passed in the corridor kindly guided me, which I really appreciated.Everyone at the front desk was also very helpful. It unexpectedly started raining, and they called a taxi for me as well, handling everything pleasantly.They can store your luggage too. I’d like to stay here again next time I’m in Kobe.Thank you very much.

Until now, I had always stayed around Sannomiya Station in Kobe, but this time I stayed at this Hotel for the first time because it was close to the dinner venue. We used five single Rooms.The Hotel parking lot has a height restriction, so even a tall kei-car wagon cannot be parked there. For that reason, we used a nearby parking lot. It is very close on foot, but by car you have to take a detour from the Hotel because there are many one-way streets in the area.If you have your parking ticket validated at the front desk, you can get a discounted rate, which is cheaper than the Hotel parking.The front desk staff were very courteous and left a great impression.Some Reviews mentioned cigarette smells in the elevator and on non-smoking floors, but it did not bother me. There was also an air purifier installed in the hallway of the non-smoking floor, which showed they are addressing those Reviews.Even though it was a single Room, it was spacious enough and comfortable.Breakfast was satisfying overall, but since the serving dishes were rather small, items ran out quickly and seemed to require frequent refills. Also, hot coffee was provided in pots rather than from a coffee machine; when I went back for another cup it was gone, so I chose iced coffee instead.It is an attractive Hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, and overall I was satisfied.
