Hotel Silk Onsen Yamabiko

I chose this Accommodation because I was looking for a nearby Onsen that isn’t in a major tourist area.Since I made the Reservation at the last minute, I couldn’t choose a Room, but it was spacious enough and very clean. There were plenty of staff, and everyone was kind, creating a warm, homey atmosphere.The meals offered a wide variety and generous portions, and everything tasted great.The Tajima beef was delicious, and in particular the seasonal Silk Corn potage was sweet and excellent.The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, but it left my skin smooth and felt wonderful.Because it’s close by, I’d like to come again even just for a day trip.

The Onsen was wonderful.It was slightly cloudy with a brownish tint, but gentle on the skin, and comfortable even for long soaks.After bathing, my skin felt smooth.Many day visitors come as well, but the lockers are clearly labeled in large print, so there’s no risk of mixing them up.I stayed for one night and two days and bathed four times.The only disappointment was that there wasn’t a sofa in front of the reception area to relax on before departure.
