Chateraise Hotel Danrokan

I stayed with my child. Even though we arrived late, we were able to enjoy the ice cream we had been looking forward to (arranged in advance). The male staff member at the front desk spoke to us kindly, which I really appreciated. The next morning my child wasn’t feeling well, so I contacted the front desk and asked to extend our checkout time. The female staff member said rather firmly, “It’s until 11:00!” I felt sorry for making a sudden request and wondered if she was irritated, but there were no words of concern and it felt cold. She did explain the necessary procedures, so we were able to communicate the minimum required information. We originally had a Plan with breakfast, but due to our situation we couldn’t eat it. If we stay again next time, I’d like to try breakfast then.

An 8 out of 10!The Room was spacious, and although it was a single, the bed was a semi-double size.The Room was large, the hallways smelled nice, and everything was clean.One downside was that the food was served too quickly—I wanted to eat more slowly.The bath was small, but since it’s an Onsen, I guess it can’t be helped. Still, I would have liked more freedom to use it.But overall, the Room is spacious, and with complimentary ice cream and Chateraise yogurt service, I definitely want to come again.
