Ise City Hotel

I was satisfied. The Room felt a bit old, but it was great that the power for the refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. did not turn off even when I left the Room. The steak at dinner was delicious and I wouldn’t get tired of it even if I had it every day.The toilet is small, and adjusting the fixed-direction shower takes a bit of ingenuity, but those are minor quirks.

This Hotel is very conveniently located for my regular shrine visits. The rates are affordable, and although the property is old, that in itself is not a problem as long as it is clean. I made a Reservation for a non-smoking room, but the cigarette smell was a drawback. A staff member opened the window for me, so it was fine.There was mold in places on the bathroom walls, and it didn’t feel like a bathroom where I wanted to stay long. Also, the bathtub drained poorly, so it wasn’t possible to fill it and soak comfortably. Breakfast was scheduled from 7:00 a.m., but since I departed at 7:00 a.m., I did not order it this time.Many people start early when visiting Ise, so I would appreciate it if breakfast could be available earlier in the morning.All of the front desk staff were pleasant and truly wonderful.
