Natural Farm City Noen Hotel <Overlooking the Streets of Chichibu>

This was my first stay. The views of the Chichibu townscape from both the Room and the dining area were wonderful. In the main building, Rooms on the 2nd floor have a roof below that reduces the sense of openness, so I recommend choosing the 3rd or 4th floor if you stay in the main building. For dinner, I had a Japanese-Western kaiseki-style course; since the price difference is minimal, I personally preferred it over the buffet. Overall, it’s a Hotel with great value for money.

The walk to the annex is quite long, and moving around inside the building takes time, so please be aware.Check-in is relatively late, and dinner is served until 8:30 PM.Even rushing to the large public bath for a quick visit took longer than expected.Some shared areas, such as the corridors, show signs of aging.There was a major earthquake that day, but the restaurant staff informed us that the property was fine and told us not to worry. It seems to meet seismic standards. This is just my personal impression.The Room had been renovated—clean, spacious, and comfortable.The view over Chichibu City was great.Don’t look too closely at the balcony area (lol).The bath area is small and there are only changing baskets,so for security it’s better to put your Room key in the coin-return locker provided.Bring a 100-yen coin with you—it’s a hassle to go back for one.There’s a small sauna. No cold plunge pool.Only one Room key is provided per Room, so if you want to go to the bath you need to coordinate timing. With our tight schedule this was very inconvenient.It’s not an auto-lock door, so don’t forget to lock it.Meals were buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast.At night: all-you-can-eat sweet fresh strawberries.In the morning: all-you-can-eat sweet kiwi.That really made me happy.After warming up the walnut bread at breakfast and adding strawberry jam, it was incredibly delicious.Highly recommended—especially the strawberry jam. It was also great mixed into yogurt.There was soft-serve ice cream at dinner as well.They also had freshly fried tempura and roast beef.Of course there were many other dishes too.Considering the Accommodation Fee, I think it offers excellent value for money.If I come back to Chichibu again, I’d stay here again.The front desk staff were also very polite.When I asked if parking might be full, they said there were still spaces available and even went out of their way to guide me to an open spot next to a bus in the parking lot.With late check-in and early check-out our stay felt short,but true to its “farm hotel” concept,we enjoyed plenty of fruit and vegetables and were very satisfied.Thank you very much.It would be perfect if there were two Room keys.
