    Hospitality at its finest...

    I stayed at the accommodation on my birthday as part of a personal celebration. As I work in the service industry myself, I had some expectations, but I was slightly disappointed that there were no celebratory words during check-in or check-out. However, apart from that, it is a very satisfying hotel—beyond satisfaction, it was truly excellent. The breakfast was especially delicious.

    Late-night ramen is delightful.

    As rumored, the night soba was simple yet delicious. However, breakfast did not meet expectations; the grilled fish had many small bones, and there was only one coffee machine, leading to long lines, which was a bit disappointing. Perhaps it’s a unique feature of this accommodation, but the rule of no slippers and only socks indoors felt overly unconventional and somewhat uncomfortable. It felt more like a luxurious guesthouse than a hotel.

    The best of both Business Hotel and Ryokan

    The smoothness of check-in and the convenience of the room are sufficient advantages as a Business Hotel, while the rooftop Onsen, tatami flooring throughout the Property, and Japanese-style Room offer the charm of a Ryokan, making it truly the best of both worlds. Personally, I was impressed by the high-end models of hair dryers like Panasonic and Refa in the bath area. Since it is primarily a Business Hotel and reasonably priced, one might not be able to demand too much luxury. However, around 9 PM when the bath gets crowded, both the atmosphere in and after bathing becomes hectic. It was disappointing that all three massage chairs were constantly in use. There were people using smartphones openly in the changing room and foreigners bathing with towels wrapped around them; I did caution someone about smartphone use as it seemed necessary. The clientele and atmosphere might be an inevitable trade-off for affordability. Visiting during less busy weekday hours might be ideal for relaxation. Nevertheless, overall it was a very satisfying stay. It's a Property I'd like to stay at again when revisiting this area.

    The front desk staff were very attentive, much appreciated.

    This time, traveling with my mother and aunts (over 65 years old) for a family trip, Miss Zhao at the front desk in the lobby, who speaks Chinese, was very kind. She proactively helped us check the transportation information to Yushien and explained it in detail. During our stay, she provided a lot of information and assistance, for which we are very grateful. The room was comfortable and located within a 10-minute walking distance to Matsumoto Castle.

    A Relaxing Space

    You take off your shoes and go to the Room, so it has a relaxing atmosphere like a Ryokan, which I thought was very nice. The washbasin is not in a traditionally narrow space but in a spacious area, making it very convenient to use.

    Perfect, including the price.

    There is nothing to complain about. It is truly a wonderful Stays. If it were nearby, I would like to use it more... I hope it expands more in the Kanto region outside of Tokyo.

    Comfortable!

    We stayed as a family of three, but the Room that can accommodate up to four people was spacious, and each Room had a TV. The bath offered a fantastic view of Lake Shinji, and we enjoyed the open-air bath at sunset, followed by the famous Yonaki Soba at night.

    Shijimi Miso Soup - Delicious!

    Actually, the day before, I stayed at Kyoritsu Resort (Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi)! (Haha) I thoroughly enjoyed and indulged myself. A wonderful space spread out from the entrance, and I felt glad to have chosen this place. The room was a comfortable space, and my friend and I were delighted. The Room. With the recent focus on SDGs, I understand the intention, but there was only one tissue box (in the center between both beds). With the friend I stayed with, we repeatedly went back to the room to get tissues when needed in the washroom. I felt it might be more pleasing to have the tissue size halved and placed in two locations. However, that would mean preparing more boxes, which might indeed put a greater burden on the environment. The seafood bowl and shijimi soup were delicious (the shijimi miso soup here at the hotel was tastier than the shijimi soup at an outside restaurant!) As expected, the breakfast was impressive, as always with Dormy Inn. I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    We were very gratefu...

    We were very grateful for the assistance from the parking staff. We had dinner outside, but the place had a somewhat lonely atmosphere.

    I was really satisfied.

    Everything was wonderful. The basket for the bath was very useful, and although it's rare, I was impressed with the placement of the trash can. The staff's response was pleasant, and I was satisfied with everything, making it my No.1 Hotel to use in the future. Thank you very much.

    Breakfast

    The venue is small and crowded. Both nights. The buffet variety is limited, and the menu doesn't change even for a Multiple Night Stay. Not worth the price. I used it because I thought IKYU would be reliable, but overall the quality is poor.

    I used it for my first solo trip. I felt it was very comfortable and the cost performance was reasonable, but I was disappointed to find a much cheaper Plan at the last minute. That's my own fault, though. The guidance upon arrival was too businesslike, so I didn't give it a perfect score.

    Inferior to other hotels in the same group.

    I stay at a hotel from the same group every year, and while this one exceeds a certain standard and is better than other hotels, compared to my regular hotel, I have many complaints and it doesn't leave a good impression. Due to personal circumstances, I cannot use the large public bath, so the lack of a bathtub in the room is a dealbreaker for me.

    Also great as a hotel for business trips!

    I stayed for four nights on a business trip. I chose this place for its entrance, tatami mats, the variety of breakfast, room size, bath, and amenities. It exceeded my expectations, and I was very satisfied. Since some staff at the front desk and breakfast reception seemed inexperienced, I would rate the service three stars. The room had a basket and towel rack, and I was pleased that the shower heads in the large bath and the hairdryer were from ReFa. I brought my own room wear and indoor slippers, but I didn't need to use them, which was appreciated. The small dishes and tempura at breakfast were very delicious. I would love to stay here again!
