Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobe no Michi

It was a very pleasant Hotel. The Room layout was excellent; although compact, the sliding door allowed the space to be separated from the bedroom, so even when staying with a friend, it was easy and comfortable to change clothes and take a shower.The service was also outstanding, with thoughtful attention and just the right sense of distance. Their sightseeing advice was spot-on, and they also offered Shuttle Service, which was great.There were hardly any shops in front of Tenri Station, so after wandering around we headed there by taxi. If we had come straight to the Hotel without wandering, we would have found more options at the roadside station next door—so next time I’ve decided to go directly to the Hotel as soon as I arrive at the station.

The Hotel is located almost directly along the Yamanobe-no-Michi route.As it sits on slightly higher ground, the views are great.True to the Marriott brand, the rooms feel like a high-end international Hotel.However, there is no restaurant. Nearby, there is a tonkatsu place at the roadside station next door.Otherwise, you will need to drive for dining options.If you choose a plan with breakfast, you are given a kaiseki-style bento. It included kakinoha-zushi and was delicious.It’s not suitable for those who want to enjoy baths/Onsen or meals at the Accommodation.It’s a good choice for those who want to relax in a Western-style Hotel.
