    A Comfortable Hotel

    I had stayed at the Richmond Hotel Kyoto several times and had a great experience, so I chose this Hotel when looking for Accommodation in Himeji. The Room was a comfortable size, the coffee was delicious, and although I didn’t have breakfast, it looked very appealing. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed here the night before a business trip. It’s close to the station, the room was clean, and it was just the right size for a solo stay. The bathroom is a unit bath, but the bathtub was spacious and very relaxing. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of options, including local dishes, which I really enjoyed. For rice dishes, there were octopus rice, sea bream rice, and conger eel rice. I wanted to try them all, so I had a bite of each. There was also plain white rice. They even had curry, but I couldn’t manage that as well. Other items included Himeji oden, sea bream shabu-shabu, and almond toast—I was very satisfied. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Himeji.

    Great value Hotel

    I stayed here on a business trip to Himeji. It seems to have opened recently, and the Facility is just a short walk from the station’s south exit. The Facility is spacious and spotless, and the front desk area felt far beyond what you’d expect from a Business Hotel. The Room was also large, and the bed was very comfortable. I also had breakfast, and it exceeded typical Business Hotel standards. I was surprised to find about four different types of rice in addition to white rice, cooked in a traditional kamado stove. The side dishes were delicious as well, and I especially liked that many of them had a distinct Himeji touch. It may be on the opposite side of the station from Himeji Castle, but it’s an excellent Business Hotel with great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Himeji.

    Clean and great value for money.

    I was looking forward to Richmond’s breakfast because I’d heard you can enjoy local specialties, and here the octopus rice and almond toast were delicious. The amenities and drink bar are also well stocked, which makes it easy to head out with minimal luggage. If I have a chance to visit around Himeji again, I’ll be happy to stay here again. Thank you very much.

    The emergency response was inadequate.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, but on the first night, the water heater broke, and there was no hot water. Just as I was about to take a bath, an announcement came through the in-room speaker stating that there was no hot water, there was no timeline for repair at that moment, and further updates would be provided. I waited for another announcement from the speaker expecting more information, but nothing came. Even by the next morning, there was still no hot water or any updates via announcements. Around 6:30 AM, I decided to try taking a cold shower but found that hot water had returned when I turned on the shower. However, there were still no announcements afterward. When leaving my Room later in the morning, I noticed a piece of paper slipped under my door with information about nearby public baths and reimbursement details for their use—but this should have been announced during the night as it’s easy to miss such notices. Additionally, there were no apologies from Hotel staff; even during check-out nothing was mentioned regarding this issue. The emergency response felt inadequate and may not be suitable for those planning a Multiple Night Stay here.

    As always, the accommodation thoughtfully catered to our lifestyle and culture, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. Additionally, it would be even more enjoyable if modern features like YouTube could be accessed on the TV monitor.

    Incorrect taxi timing.

    I was made to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes because the taxi reservation time was apparently booked incorrectly. There were no words of apology, which left me feeling uncomfortable. Additionally, I couldn't adjust the room's air conditioning to a comfortable level and couldn't sleep well.

    First time using it!

    It was a twin room with breakfast included for one night. The beds were spacious, and the Room had a comfortable atmosphere, making it very pleasant to stay in. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options for a Business Hotel, so much so that I couldn't try everything. I was surprised that the Hotel didn't have its own parking lot, but there were plenty of parking spaces nearby, so it wasn't an issue. Although it's a bit far from the station, the quiet surroundings were nice. Overall, I was very satisfied and would love to stay again.

    Very satisfied with the high cost-performance Hotel.

    I always use this place when visiting Himeji. The amenities are excellent, the Room is clean, and I had a relaxing stay. Even with an early arrival, the staff provided courteous service, and their warm greetings at the breakfast venue were delightful.

    Noise and smell are...

    As a Diamond member, I frequently use hotels across the whole country for both personal and business purposes. However, upon entering this hotel, there was a strong smell like sewage? It was quite challenging as I had to open the door, use deodorizer, and set the air purifier to high. I considered asking for a room change but decided against it since another room was being used by my family and moving two rooms in total would likely be difficult. Incidentally, the other room did not have any odor. Additionally, perhaps because it was on the lowest floor, noise from the room above was loud and I couldn't sleep at all. There were booming sounds like fireworks echoing until around 11 PM and starting again at 6 AM; I've never experienced such a noisy hotel before. The distance from the station, size of the bath, and breakfast were satisfactory. It seemed crowded possibly because we happened to come on Himeji Marathon day (Himeji Marason no hi), which is my own lack of research. It wasn't even that cheap of a plan so honestly, I was disappointed.

    Neglecting household chores for the first time in a while.

    For the past 8 years, I have been using a Hotel near Himeji Station close to my home due to illness, just to rest my body without doing anything. As COVID-19 has settled down and inbound tourism has increased, hotel prices have been soaring. In the midst of this, I found this Hotel. I think it hasn't been many years since it opened, so the Room was clean and the bathtub in the Room was relaxing. However, I wish there was a large public bath even if it's not natural. It was nice that after checking in, I could just relax without going out. I hope to use it again if possible.

    Very beautiful.

    It was a very beautiful Hotel. It was so nice that it didn't feel like a business trip. The New Year's decorations at the entrance were also beautiful!

    Beautiful Hotel

    The room and bath are spacious. One additional towel per person is free, and you can take as many amenities as you need, even bath additives were available. It was nice to stay at a lower price on weekdays. It was unfortunate that the charger was broken and unusable.

    First time staying in Himeji

    This time, since it was just a one-night stay nearby, I chose this place for its good cost performance. As soon as you enter the entrance, there's a pleasant fragrance. The lobby is neat, and the staff are efficient. I could only book a double room, but since it was mostly just for sleeping, it was not a problem. It's within walking distance from the station, and considering the current hotel situation, this place is recommended for its good cost performance and cleanliness on weekends. I would like to stay here again when visiting Himeji. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast is very delicious. The cleaning of the Room is insufficient.

    I was delighted to find my favorite dragon fruit for breakfast, which I thought was rare. Everything was very delicious. However, the cleaning of the Room was inadequate, and I could see a long, black hair through the sheets, which was quite unpleasant, even though it wasn't directly on the sheets. I wondered how careless the bed-making could be to cover a mattress with such long hair with a sheet, and how it could go unnoticed. Additionally, the vacuuming was insufficient, the bathroom felt gritty, the lid of the tissue case was dusty, there were splatters on the TV, and many other small areas were inadequately cleaned, making it feel unclean.

    I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

    It was nice to have a room that felt clean. If possible, I would like the room slippers to be disposable. I would like the staff to come around more often to collect empty plates at the breakfast buffet.

    Services and Facilities in General

    The property is new, and both the interior and guest rooms are very clean and well-maintained. I appreciated the reasonable management approach while maintaining service standards, such as offering drip coffee amenities and SDGs cleaning options. Additionally, with a wide variety of breakfast options included for a price of 10,000 yen plus, it's understandable why there are many inbound stays. The takeaway coffee at breakfast was very convenient for business travelers. Although inflation is expected to continue, please keep up the good work.

    I had a comfortable stay in the spacious Room.

    I decided to stay at this Hotel after reading comments about the cleanliness of the Room. As the comments mentioned, the clean Room was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a pleasant stay. I would like to stay again when I have work in the Kansai area.

    I recommend the hotel in front of Himeji Station.

    I have used this hotel several times. The room is user-friendly and clean. For breakfast, you can enjoy a variety of dishes in small portions, such as Himeji oden, anago-meshi, and Akashiyaki. It's a recommended hotel.

    I was bothered by the noise.

    This was my first time using the service. It wasn't as far from the station as I thought. I stayed in a corner Room, but there was a constant noise that bothered me. I contacted the front desk, and they said they checked the floor and found no issues. However, various noises continued until it finally became quiet after 10 PM. It seemed to be the sound of daily life echoing. It was quiet at night, and I could sleep, but the noise started again after 6 AM. I felt a bit sorry thinking that our noise might have leaked somewhere too.
