    Family Trip

    We stayed as a family of four. Even during Golden Week, the price was reasonable with breakfast included, and the Room had been renovated and was very clean and comfortable. It was also convenient that each bed had an outlet and USB Type-C support. The Hotel is centrally located, with department stores and restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to get around. We would like to stay again.

    I couldn’t sleep because foreign guests were being noisy late at night.

    I believe there were three or more Chinese women staying on the same floor, and they were being very loud even after midnight, so I couldn’t sleep well. I asked the front desk to speak to them, but I could still hear them talking afterward. I understand that many Hotels have a lot of international guests these days, but I would appreciate it if you could separate floors for international and Japanese guests from the start in anticipation of situations like this.

    I had a great time (lol).

    Since it was an inexpensive Room, I initially thought, “There’s no space to pull out a chair—there’s no need to force one in here…,” but it didn’t feel too cramped. Even though the toilet is open-style, it didn’t feel unhygienic. The bathroom is shower-only with no bathtub (there are also larger Rooms and Rooms with bathtubs!!), but there were multiple shower systems, which was actually fun. Recommended for those who are fine as long as it’s clean for a night or two. The only issue is the building-wide air conditioning (it can be tough on extreme-weather days such as midsummer, midwinter, or unusually warm winter days). Breakfast included various Nagoya specialties, and there was a decent selection of other items as well. What surprised me was the homemade pudding! It was delicious—I even went back for seconds. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

    A spacious Room for the price.

    About a 7-minute walk from Sakae Station, but still a very convenient location. There is also a convenience store nearby. The Room was spacious for the price.

    I’d like to be able to watch TV while sitting in a chair.

    I liked the clean Room and the deep bathtub. I have stayed here several times on business trips to Nagoya. This time, the Room had an L-shaped layout, and the TV was placed very close to the head of the bed. When I sat at the table at the foot of the bed, the TV ended up behind me. Since I like to watch TV while I’m awake, this was very inconvenient. I tried to adjust it, but it was fixed in place. If the TV had been on the wall where the picture is hung, it would have been easier to watch. The Room felt hot (perhaps because the heating was on), but when I turned on the air conditioner it became even hotter, so I couldn’t use it. In the end I opened a window, but since it was raining, I wish there had been another option. Because this was a Multiple Night Stay, I declined housekeeping and left my used towels out. When I returned at night, clean towels in a bag were left at my door. However, I would have liked a toothbrush included as well. A toothbrush can be used for a second day, but there wasn’t enough toothpaste.

    Since it was the first day of a three-day weekend, the Accommodation Fee was high, but the toilet water kept running, there wasn’t enough toilet paper, and the bathtub plug was closed with some water left in it. While I understand that the Hotel is old, I would appreciate proper cleaning.

    The bathroom in the room had a moldy smell and was not very clean. Although it was cheaper than other facilities during the Golden Week period, it was a bit disappointing for a hotel in Japan.

    Overall dirty

    The building is old and cheap, which might be a factor, but the water facilities were particularly dirty. I will probably never use it again.

    Cleaning part-time job?

    While the sound of the vacuum cleaner during cleaning is understandable, the chatter of the cleaning staff is noisy. They knock loudly for cleaning checks, and even though the chain is on, they try to open the room door forcefully. It might be fine for guests who start their day before noon, but for those who start after noon, it's not an environment where they can sleep in or relax until the last minute. Please address the loud chatter of the foreign cleaning staff and their manners towards guests.
