  The room is too small.

  - The bathroom ceiling is too low (a beam protrudes), so you can’t stand up in the bathtub. - No closet (clothes must be hung directly on wall hooks). - The washbasin is too small. - The bathroom faucet is shared with the sink (I’ve never seen such a cramped unit bath). - The bathtub is small (and has no anti-slip surface). - Water pressure from the shower is weak. - The toilet is right up against the wall on one side, so you can’t sit with your knees apart (and it’s not self-cleaning). - No clip hangers (even after asking the front desk, they didn’t bring any). - The Room smells a bit. - When you go out, even the air conditioner turns off. - Every time you enter the Room, the TV turns on automatically. - Right after check-in, even the refrigerator was left turned off (it should be pre-cooled).

  Thank you very much for staying at APA Hotel <Kyoto-Ekimae>. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. Please find our responses to each matter below. Due to character limitations, some details have been omitted; thank you for your understanding. [Regarding the bathroom area] Due to the building structure, there is an overhead beam above the bathtub in our Hotel. A limited number of Rooms do not have this beam; if available, we can change your Room. Our Hotel was renovated in 2019, and some Rooms feature a newer egg-shaped bathtub. The egg-shaped bathtub has an anti-slip surface at the bottom. We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you would like to change Rooms, please let our Hotel staff know. While immediate improvements are difficult, we will use your feedback as a reference for future hotel development. [Regarding hangers] We regret to inform you that we do not provide hangers with clips at our Hotel. Thank you for your understanding. [Regarding air conditioning] As our Hotel uses individual air-conditioning units, we are unable to turn on the air conditioning in advance. Some hotels use centralized air conditioning; however, since each guest has different temperature preferences, individual systems have generally been well received. That said, as you noted, it may take some time in summer or winter to reach a comfortable temperature. APA Hotels aim to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve faster temperature control by offering compact Rooms. We appreciate your understanding. [Regarding the TV] Our TVs are equipped with APA Digital Information Service (ADI), which allows guests to check various information on the TV. As part of this service, messages from the Hotel may be displayed on the screen when necessary. This system is also used in emergencies; we appreciate your understanding. [Regarding the refrigerator] Our refrigerators are equipped with an energy-saving switch. For environmental reasons, please turn on the power yourself before use. That is all. If there is anything we can assist with during your stay, our staff are available 24 hours a day—please feel free to contact us at any time. We will do our utmost to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

  Perfect for those seeking a convenient location near the station and a relaxing time watching movies.

  The convenient location near the station is a plus, and the Hotel offers Wi-Fi, large beds, and TVs. There are many free VOD titles available, including some of the latest movies, making for a relaxing stay. For domestic travel, APA Hotel is always one of my top choices. I was too tired and went straight to bed, so I didn't use the bath.

  There was an issue w...

  There was an issue with the room. While there were aspects of the response that I found satisfactory, I believe there could have been more consideration from the guest's perspective. I have used the APA Hotel Group multiple times without any trouble in the past, so this experience was disappointing. The breakfast was enjoyable even during a Multiple Night Stay without feeling repetitive.

  That's unfortunate.

  There was constant noise from work, conversations, and vacuum cleaners in the hallway. I understand that cleaning guest rooms during the day must be challenging, but I hope for some improvements, such as creating a separate floor for day-use accommodations. It was disappointing not to be able to relax at all.
