    The Room was clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The dining area was also spacious... Although we stayed for only one night, we had a very comfortable stay, and the front desk staff were courteous. Thank you.

    Satisfied.

    The location is convenient and close to Kyoto Station. There is another APA Hotel nearby, which can be confusing, but it was easy to find. The large public bath also has an open-air bath, so I could enjoy an Onsen-like experience.

    Delightful Large Public Bath!!

    After a tiring hike up Mount Kurama, the large public bath was truly appreciated. Stretching my legs and soaking in the warm water helped soothe my tired body. Thank you very much!

    Hatsu Apa

    This was my first stay at APA Hotel. The Facility and amenities were impressive as expected. The president's presence felt a bit overwhelming, though (haha). The open-air bath was also very relaxing.

    It was quiet.

    The biggest advantage was how close it is—just a short walk from Kyoto Station. Although there were mostly foreign guests, it was very quiet, which I really appreciated. The price was nearly 20,000 yen, probably due to inbound tourism (understandable, though it’s hard to find affordable stays in Kyoto these days). Even when I changed to an earlier Shinkansen at the last minute the next morning (in my underwear—30 minutes before departure), I still had plenty of time to get ready and make it. If nightlife isn’t a priority and you prefer an easy trip back thanks to staying near the station, this Hotel is very convenient.

    Wi-Fi

    Wi-Fi is too weak, causing disruptions in online meetings. As a Business Hotel, investment in such facilities would be appreciated. However, having power outlets both by the bed and on the table was convenient, especially since the Room is small enough to access devices on the table from the bed.

    My first stay at APA Hotel. The evolution of Business Hotels in recent years has been remarkable, and I’ve had comfortable stays with most brands, but this one stood out for its exceptional attention to detail. Here are some highlights: 1. Amenities comparable to a City Hotel, with high-quality toothbrushes. 2. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. 3. High water pressure filled the bathtub quickly. 4. The egg-shaped bathtub was very relaxing. 5. Both regular slippers and disposable slippers were provided. 6. While not many options, the large-screen monitor allowed for enjoyable movie watching while lying down. 7. Personally loved the central air conditioning system; individual room air conditioners can often be noisy. 8. As rumored, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options available!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The stay was clean and comfortable. It’s a bit of a walk to Kyoto Station, but there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it convenient.

    Open-air bath with sauna included

    It is common to choose a Business Hotel with a large public bath, but it is rare to find one that also has an open-air bath and sauna. Surprisingly, it was close to the station, and although the Room was very small, it had all the basic amenities and was comfortable. There was a book with a photo of the famous manager prominently on the cover, which felt slightly unsettling. Even her photo appeared on water bottles. While I understand it's for advertising purposes, perhaps leaving it out would create a more sophisticated impression.

    Satisfied.

    The breakfast buffet was delicious, and I was happy to find curry. Room: Single. Located near Kyoto Station, the room was small but sufficient for just sleeping. The price was slightly under 20,000 yen, which is understandable given the rising costs.

    It is compact.

    We stayed in two smoking single rooms, one for my wife and one for myself. According to my wife, the toilet seat felt cold as her first impression. The facility is outdated, so we kindly request consideration for renovation. The space between the desk and bed is too narrow, making it necessary to sidestep to reach the back of the room. Narrowing the bed width might help improve this issue. The air conditioner was excessively noisy even on low settings; we had to turn it off despite feeling hot because it was difficult to sleep with it on. Overall, we were not satisfied with the facility due to its significant aging condition. On a positive note, we were very pleased with how kind and helpful the front desk and parking staff were during our first stay at your hotel. Although we visit Kyoto once a year, next year we may consider looking for another hotel due to these issues. However, finding hotels with smoking rooms remains a challenge...

    Concerns about hygiene

    The bed was next to curtains with blood stains, which felt unpleasant. Visible dirt was left as it was, making me hesitant to touch the surrounding items.

    Cleaning

    When indicating cleaning for a Multiple Night Stay, they might knock early in the morning, and even though you're paying the same rate as a single night, they give the impression of not wanting to clean under the guise of environmental consideration. When specifically requesting only the carpet to be cleaned, they sometimes forget to change the towels, which was quite something. If there is no Room cleaning, there should be some benefit for the guest, such as lowering the nightly rate.

    Great location, excellent service!

    APA Hotel offers efficient services without any waste, making it very convenient. This Hotel is close to Kyoto Station and has a 7-Eleven next door. There is also a large public bath, allowing you to relax your tired body after a day of sightseeing.

    The luggage storage service was appreciated.

    Good point → It was helpful that the Hotel could hold our luggage until the evening after checkout. A few years ago, I was surprised that adult videos could be watched on the TV without purchasing something like a TV card, so I am giving one less star. I would like to use it when my child takes university entrance exams because of its convenience, but I hope it can be set so that those under 18 cannot view it when making a Reservation.
