    The mekabu was delicious!

    I chose to stay here because the breakfast reviews were highly rated. The Room was spacious and comfortable. I used the underground parking, but it was a bit tight, so I felt a little nervous while parking. The breakfast had many delicious options; the mekabu seaweed was especially good. The steamed pumpkin was also nicely prepared. The rich pudding was delicious as well. Considering the Accommodation Fee, I felt the breakfast offered great value. Thank you very much.

    Excellent for a Business Hotel.

    The Facility is clean, and having an Onsen is a nice touch—it helps you relax and recover from fatigue. The Room is also clean, and I was able to get plenty of sleep. The front desk staff member was from Nepal, but their Japanese was excellent and communication was smooth. Their smile was wonderful as well. Thank you very much.

    Super convenient

    Right in front of the Goryokaku streetcar stop and bus stop, so it’s very convenient. The breakfast was delicious—I especially enjoyed the salt ramen and had a second serving. The staff were also very courteous. Highly recommended, and I’d love to stay again.

    This was my second stay. It’s the best location if you’re visiting Goryokaku! The view from the Room was also very nice. This time I didn’t have breakfast due to my schedule, but when I had it last time, there was a great variety and it was very good. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I stayed on a weekda...

    I stayed on a weekday, and the Room was clean and very nice. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied. Great value for money, and it’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to stay at again.

    Highly satisfied

    The view of Goryokaku Tower from the Room was beautiful, and it was a wonderful stay. Breakfast was also very delicious, with plenty of local specialties. At Hokke Club Sapporo, there was warmed milk for café au lait, but it wasn’t available in Hakodate, which was a bit disappointing; otherwise, we were very satisfied. The semi-Onsen also warmed us up!

    Reliable and Comprehensive Services

    For long stays in Hakodate, I always choose this accommodation for its large public bath, Simmons beds, and high-quality breakfast. This time, I noticed that the room amenities seemed simpler than before, but it did not cause any inconvenience. Perhaps there have been issues with inbound guests taking items? The desk drawer no longer had chargers, LAN cables, or the accommodation terms file. The public bath features a shampoo bar where I was happy to try out new products I've been curious about. The breakfast selection was so extensive that even after staying for three nights, I couldn't try everything. It was disappointing to see the handmade French toast missing this time. However, local specialties like squid sashimi, cod roe, Matsumae pickles, mini salt ramen noodles, and squid ink keema curry were all delicious!

    Just Right in Every Way!

    Stayed on 11/24 (Mon, holiday) for the first night of a two-night, three-day trip. Hakodate has so many great accommodations to choose from, and I was torn between staying near the station, Yunokawa Onsen, or around Goryokaku. I decided on this accommodation due to its reasonable price, highly-rated breakfast, and convenient location for my travel schedule near Goryokaku. After enjoying the night view of Mt. Hakodate, I took the city tram and got off at Goryokaku Koen-mae Station. From there, it’s just a 2-3 minute walk to reach here. The street is well-lit and feels safe even for women traveling alone; there’s also a convenience store next door which is very handy. In the hotel lobby, they were preparing Christmas decorations (the tree was beautifully decorated by the next morning). From my room on the 7th floor, I could see the illuminated Goryokaku Tower—it was delightful! Turning off my room lights and taking photos through the window resulted in some beautiful shots. The large public bath wasn’t crowded despite it being a holiday weekend evening; I enjoyed a relaxing soak (choosing from about ten types of shampoo made it fun) and felt wonderfully warmed up. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive selection of local dishes that were both comforting and delicious. What stood out most was how attentive female staff members were in constantly replenishing dishes and keeping everything clean—this left me truly impressed! No matter when you went to get food during breakfast hours, everything looked fresh and inviting. The squid sashimi and chawanmushi are must-tries—I highly recommend them! Thank you for such a satisfying meal. After checking out, they kindly stored our luggage so we could enjoy exploring places like Hokkaido Museum of Northern Peoples or strolling around Goryokaku Park hands-free. Thank you very much—I’d love to stay here again!

    It was very good. The breakfast was delicious. It was the best pudding among the Hotels I stayed at in Hakodate. I would like to stay here again when visiting Goryokaku.

    Considering the price, I think everything deserves a 5.

    The facility may be getting a bit old, but the guest rooms are reasonably spacious, and while the large public bath is not a natural Onsen, it is spacious with plenty of washing areas, which I appreciate. This time, due to my schedule, I couldn't have breakfast, but based on my previous experience, the breakfast allows you to fully enjoy Hakodate's flavors. I really wished I could have chosen a plan with breakfast. The front desk staff are pleasant and I've never had an unpleasant experience so far.

    Delicious Breakfast

    I love the breakfast at this Hotel. The "squid sashimi" is delicious. Other dishes, like the pork miso soup, also have a homemade touch and are truly tasty.

    Great value and excellent meals.

    The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, was delicious, and the staff were very pleasant, making it a wonderful experience. I also found the Room rate to be affordable. Parking costs 800 yen, but considering the central location, it is reasonably priced.

    When traveling to Hakodate, I was deciding between staying near the station or in the Goryokaku area. I chose this accommodation because I wanted to enjoy an onsen, have breakfast, and stay in a convenient location. As mentioned in the reviews, the breakfast included Hakodate specialties like salt ramen, seafood yakisoba with thick sauce, squid sashimi, and other Hokkaido local dishes. There was also a wide variety of desserts. Before eating, I thought it might be typical defrosted cakes like at other hotels, but I was completely wrong. Thanks to that, I enjoyed a delicious meal from the morning. From my room, I could see Goryokaku Tower beautifully lit up at night. The front desk staff from overseas provided excellent service with great care. The onsen water felt soft and left my skin feeling great after bathing. It was such a wonderful experience that I'd love to visit Hakodate again just to stay here!

    I used it for sights...

    I used it for sightseeing. It was convenient as Goryokaku was the main attraction and it was very close, with many restaurants around. The Plan included breakfast, which had a wide variety and lots of local ingredients, making it delicious. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area provided courteous service, leaving a good impression.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    It was my first time traveling to Hakodate, but it was close to the Goryokaku Park Station of the tram running in the city, and the location was easy to find. I had a great experience using the Hotel Hokke Club in Sapporo during the summer, so I decided to use it in Hakodate as well, and it was also very comfortable and pleasant. I think it depends on the floor and position of the Room, but this time I was on a high floor, so the view was unobstructed and the scenery was great. I didn't use the large public bath, so I'm not sure about that, but both the Room and the service were sufficient.
