L'isola THE BIRD

This was our family’s first trip to Amakusa, Kumamoto, and we stayed here. We had been looking forward to it even before we arrived, and the Accommodation was even more stylish than we expected—everywhere we went, we could feel the great sense of design. The Room was very clean, and the view from the villa was amazing. There were activities to enjoy both indoors and outdoors, and our child had a wonderful time.We rented a BBQ set, and everything was provided—so it was incredibly convenient to just bring our own ingredients and enjoy. The older male staff member at reception was very friendly and kind, and we also enjoyed hearing various stories from him. Unfortunately he wasn’t there when we checked out, so we couldn’t thank him in person, which was a real shame—but we’d love to make another opportunity to visit Amakusa and stay again.There is nothing around the Accommodation, so it’s very quiet; we could also enjoy a sky full of stars, making for an extremely relaxing time. Since there isn’t anywhere within shopping distance from the Accommodation, it might be even more comfortable if reception offered some snacks or if light meals were available at a café or restaurant—but overall it truly was a completely satisfying stay and an unforgettable place. I stayed here as the final accommodation of my trip to Kumamoto. The facility, meals, and location were excellent, but what impressed me the most was the quality of the guests. I believe the best aspect of this accommodation is that it does not target large groups or inbound tourists.
