Etchu Goi Hanao Onsen Yamaboushi

I felt a little uneasy on the way up into the mountains, but once we arrived it was a truly wonderful space—like an adults-only hideaway—and the staff were very kind and made us feel comfortable. The complimentary drinks were exceptionally well provided, and the meals were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We had a thoroughly satisfying stay.

We stayed at this Accommodation on 7/20. The building seems to have been renovated, and it was kept impeccably clean throughout, making our stay very comfortable. The meals were just the right portion size, and even my girlfriend—who is training and restricting her diet—was completely satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. She even said that once we got back to our daily routine, she wanted to train, lose weight, and come back to enjoy the food again. The bath in our Room was also at the perfect temperature, and since we could bathe whenever we liked, I ended up soaking four times (laugh).The only disappointment was that we were told there is a risk of bears in this area as well, so we couldn’t take a walk around the Hotel.I’d love to return in another season—during autumn foliage or when everything is covered in snow—and relax in the Onsen.Thanks to the wonderful meals, baths, and hospitality, we had an amazing time.Thank you very much.
