Shinshu Sky Resort ARCADIA ~Unparalleled Scenery~

I was impressed first by the wonderful view. If I had arrived earlier, I would have liked to relax in the lounge and enjoy it longer. Each dish tasted handmade. Everything was delicious, and since all drinks were free, I could dine slowly and comfortably without worry. I also liked the chef’s call when new dishes were served. The Room was clean, and I could unwind while looking out at the birch trees. Ideally, it would have been nice to have a large public bath, but the in-room bathroom was spacious and spotless, so I could soak in the tub at leisure. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

I’ve stayed in the same Room for four years in a row, and every year I look forward to chatting with the front desk staff—they remember me. When I leave, they even come outside and see me off until my car is out of sight. I also look forward to breakfast. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this one is the best.About two weeks ago, I stayed at a JR Hotel for the same price, but it was unmanned, so of course there were no meals—breakfast was just convenience-store bread. If they don’t have staffing costs, they should be able to charge less. I won’t stay there again. It’s disappointing because I stayed at that Hotel last year and the meals were good.
