Village Atami

Check-in is not self-service; the friendly staff welcome you with a smile. For my sister’s birthday, they not only upgraded our Room, but also prepared a surprise—so touching! We enjoyed welcome drinks on the rooftop in the sea breeze, and both dinner and breakfast were high-quality buffets that we could enjoy without worrying about time. The entire property is barrier-free from the parking lot, with great accessibility throughout, so my mother—who can’t walk much—could stay comfortably and安心. I can’t wait to come back soon. We decided on a spontaneous one-night trip to Atami at my husband’s suggestion!Since we were traveling with a child and wanted a Japanese-style room, we chose this Hotel.In the end, we had no problems at all and were able to spend our time feeling safe and at ease.Our 8-month-old baby, who is crawling around exploring, thoroughly enjoyed every corner of the step-free Room. It was spotless and very clean; aside from the humidifier there were no appliances using outlets, and there was no sharp-edged furniture—just a simple Room that felt completely safe.What I appreciated most was that there was a small sink in the corner with the electric kettle in addition to the washbasin. Since it’s above the refrigerator, everything from preparing formula to washing bottles went smoothly—just like at home—and it was extremely comfortable.We also borrowed children’s items this time: an auxiliary toilet seat, a step stool, and a waterproof sheet.I rated hospitality/service one star lower only because it rained and we couldn’t use Facilities like the rooftop terrace or footbath.It’s due to the weather so it doesn’t really feel like something to deduct for—but if I had to mention anything, that would be it.I’d love to stay here again on our next trip to Atami.
