    An Accommodation too good to just pass by.

    I was looking for an Accommodation about an hour’s drive from Hakata where I could enjoy both a sauna and great food, and that’s how I found this place. It seems this long-established Ryokan has been renovated into a Ryokan with saunas in every room. I loved the Japanese-modern style. There aren’t many shared spaces, so it’s perfect for a relaxing stay-in retreat. The staff were incredibly kind. It has the warm, charming atmosphere unique to a Ryokan—different from the service at foreign-owned hotels. The meals reflected the local character of Kyushu and Oita while also trying new ideas, and everything was delicious. Dinner was wonderful, of course, and having hitsumabushi for breakfast was a first for me—such a refreshing experience. One of the condiments was yuzu kosho with grated daikon. That was also a lovely new way to enjoy it. And of course, it was domestically produced eel! The sauna let us adjust the temperature, connect via Bluetooth, and the relaxation space was very comfortable as well. Since this is a Ryokan that really lends itself to staying in, I would have appreciated slightly later check-in and check-out times. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this Ryokan. Thank you!

    This time, I travele...

    This time, I traveled to Oita with my daughter! She’s really into saunas and highly recommended Yorozuya. The Room, the Onsen, the food—and of course the sauna—were all excellent. We were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay together. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind, and we’d love to visit again. Thank you for taking such good care of us. There was also a great selection of delicious drinks, so next time we’d like to enjoy them together with your wonderful cuisine. Thank you very much.

    Perfect Accommodation for Sauna Enthusiasts

    This was my second stay, and having a sauna in every Room that you can use anytime as much as you like is simply the best! The "Akira" Room on the 6th floor where I stayed this time had special attention to details like lighting inside the sauna, creating the perfect environment for relaxation! As always, I started with three sauna sessions right after arrival to fully refresh myself, followed by the Sauna Kaiseki meal—it was amazing! The cuisine has evolved too, and the "Löyly Sukiyaki" was an irresistible treat for sauna enthusiasts!
